Saga - a young child with pale sunburned skin, very long platinum blonde hair and the brightest blue eyes, wearing a yellow 70s hippie dress - sat on the floor of her Dad's car, an old red one she didn't know the name of.

She pressed against the old weathered leather seats and hid as much as she could from the explosions and gunshots ringing from the outside. Her Dad had left to find something to eat a while ago, probably dumpster diving or pickpocketing, and he had yet to return. Saga hoped he was out of harms way, as well as anyone could living in Gotham City.

(She missed her home country, in times as these. The government and Authority had been the reason of her mother's passing, and the eviction of their tiny house in Falun. But she hadn't needed to worry about the violent fights as these there, hadn't needed to worry about her Dad getting in the crossfire or exploding alive. Barely had she needed to worry much about goons in general.)

Saga looked up through the windows again, fire casting orange shadows across the buildings across the street, hoping her Dad would hurry back so they could leave this city already. Or at least this part of it. She tugged her knees closer to her chest, hugging herself tightly as she listened to the quickly approaching fight outside.

She'd give Dad a few more minutes before she'd drive away from here herself, despite her being far too small for such a thing. Maybe they could try Metropolis or Fawcett next time? She thought that was the name of the cities at least... Or just some normal city for once!

She hugged herself tighter, covering her ears as the sounds got louder, tears threatening to fall as all she could only think was:

So I couldn’t resist writing this one for Magnus Martinsson and my OC character, Honey (because let’s be honest, these two are ending up together.) For @the-th-horniest-book-club

That’s My Wife

Pairing:  Magnus Martinsson x OFC (Honey)

Summary: Magnus goes out with Wallander for a few drinks and gets too drunk and doesn’t recognize his wife.

It was Friday night and Magnus was looking forward to heading home for a relaxing evening with Honey.

“Magnus?” Kurt stopped by Magnus’s desk on his way out. “Would you care to join us for a few beers at the bar?” Kurt pulled on his jacket.

“Me?” Magnus pointed at himself. “You never invite me out, are you sure?”

Kurt smiled down. “You worked hard on solving that Gustafsson case this week. You deserve it. Unless you have big plans with that wife of yours.”

Magnus blushed. “I am sure it will be fine if I go out for a few pints.” He fished his phone out. “Let me check in with her.”

Darling is it okay if go out with Kurt for a few pints before coming home?

His phone beeped.

Of course, baby. Enjoy yourself and call if you need me to pick you up. Love you.

Magnus typed back a quick message.

Thank you darling. I love you so much.

Magnus tucked the phone back into his pocket and grabbed his jacket off his chair. “Let’s go.”

Several hours and many beers later, Kurt texted Honey with Magnus’s phone.

I’ve taken his keys. He celebrated a bit too much. Here’s the address.

Honey clicked her tongue at Kurt’s message and tugged on her shoes, grabbing her keys before heading out of the apartment. “Naughty boy.”

Kurt and Magnus were outside the bar waiting for her when she got there fifteen minutes later.

“Kurt, why did you let him drink so much?” she scolded.

Kurt shrugged his shoulders. “I lost track.”

“I’m perfectly capable of driving home.” Magnus piped up, slightly slurring his words. He wrapped his arms around Honey’s waist. “You are beautiful, you remind me of my wife.” He smiled at her.

Honey smiled at him. “Thank you, baby. I get that a lot. Let’s get you home, baby.” She heaved him onto her side and half dragged, half carried Magnus to the passenger side of the car, slamming the door on Magnus. He slumped against the seat. Honey marched towards Kurt and held out her hand.

“Keys and phone, please.”

Kurt slapped them in her hand and she pocketed them. “You owe me, Wallander!” she called out after him before taking off.

Magnus was even more handsy in the car than usual.

“Magnus!” Honey slapped his hand away. “I am driving. If you continue, I am going to have to punish you when we get home. Can you be my good boy?”

Magnus perked up. “No! Please, I will be good. I promise, Mistress, to be the best boy.”

“I’m holding you to that, baby.”

Magnus squirmed and eventually sat on his hands to stop himself from touch Honey.

Finally, he started to doze off as they reached the apartment. Honey shut off the car and came around to pull Magnus out of the car.

“I am glad you have a ground floor apartment because I am not hauling you upstairs, baby.”

“Hmmm, I can walk.” Magnus whined.

She kissed his cheek. “I am sure you can, baby, but not in a straight line. Let’s get you to bed.”

Magnus leaned towards her. “If you wanted sex, all you had to do was ask.” He pulled his jacket off.

“In the house, Magnus!” She hauled him to the front door and basically pushed him inside before he got anything more than his jacket off.

Magnus leaned against the door and toed his boots off. “Where am I?”

“Home.”

He furrowed his brow. “Who are you?”

“Honey.” She tugged at his belt and pants.

Magnus jerked away. “Don’t touch me! I’m sorry, you are beautiful, but I have a wife.” He holds up his hand to show his ring. “And she won’t take kindly to someone else touching me like that.”

Honey giggled. “I am your wife, silly boy.” She grabbed his face and kissed him. “I love you, even drunk off your ass.”

Magnus closed his eyes as he kissed her, deepening the kiss. Honey pulled away and Magnus’s eyes fluttered open.

“Honey! Darling.” His eyes darted around. “There’s some girl around trying to get into my pants.”

“She better not, you belong to me, baby.”

He ran his hands through his curls. “I told her I was married but then…” He blushed deeply. “… I think she kissed me!”

“The slut!” she giggled. “Let’s get you to bed and I will go take care of her.”

Magnus leaned against Honey as she led him down the hallway and the bedroom, flopping him onto the bed and finishing taking off his jeans. “Thank you, Mistress, you take such good care of me. I love you.”

Honey leaned over and kissed his cheek. “I love you too, my good boy. My good very drunk boy. Tomorrow I will tell what happened.”

Magnus already had fallen asleep.

Bailey’s dumb. That’s it, that’s the character. Jkjk, he just can’t take a hint very well. He’s a lot like Kent, because, well, they’re brothers. They’re both dating a non-English native speaker, so they have that in common. The Aces collectively decided that Bailey’s nickname is Buckets, since his last name is buck. He has an affinity for listening to Ariana Grande, like Kent has the affinity for Britney Spears.

Our iconic Swedish hockey player. He’s the really hot one, who doesn’t know great English. He’s clueless, the kind of person who hears one word of someone’s conversation across the room and yells “WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!” In short, Elias looks a ton like our favorite NHL player and the guy I share a birthday with, Elias Pettersson. Vegas Elias has zero siblings and doesn’t quite get the concept of s h a r i n g. That’s okay though.

He knows one other language, Greek, because he has a Greek grandfather. Nick has the whole tall dark and handsome at age 17 look, with jet black hair and grey blue eyes.

[OC] Cody Ceci vs. Nikita Zaitsev: A Comparative Analysis

The Toronto Maple Leafs and the Ottawa Senators completed a trade on July 1st. Both of these two players received a ton of criticism from our respective fan bases over the last few years. I think both guys are serviceable NHL defenceman who have been given really, really tough minutes that make them look worse than they are. With that being said, I’d make an argument that Ceci was the better player between the two last year when you look at most of their metrics.Ceci produced more offence by a fairly wide margin. He scored 7 goals to Zaitsev’s 3 and doubled Zaitsev’s /60 goal rate. Ceci also had 8 more assists, had a significantly higher /60 point rate, and had 10 more primary assists. As a side note, Zaitsev had 1 primary assist all year and that’s when he hit a camera clearing the puck on Hyman’s ENG in Tampa - it’s almost impressive how awful that stat is. Ceci received very little Power Play time (scoring 1 point) and had a slightly lower PDO (indicating he was a little less lucky than Z) so those aren’t excuses that Zaitsev defenders can hide behind to explain these discrepancies.People who argue that Zaitsev is the better player would likely point to his difficult deployment but, the thing is, if there is one player that got it as bad as Zaitsev in terms of difficult minutes, that player is Cody Ceci. Zaitsev received slightly harder zone starts and faced slightly harder competition but Ceci played with much worse teammates while also being asked to shut down other team's top lines. In addition, Ceci played 22:34/game. That ranked 42nd in the NHL last year. The five guys behind him in that category: Josh Morrissey, Justin Faulk, Keith Yandle, Brandon Montour, and Patrick Kane. The five guys ahead of him in that category: Erik Gustafsson, Leon Draisaitl, PK Subban, Victor Hedman, and Connor McDavid. Ceci is not in that class and Ottawa asked way too much of this guy. They ran him into the ground and if the Leafs can scale Ceci’s minutes back a little bit and shelter him away from top lines, I would expect his numbers to jump by a decent amount next year. I’m fairly confident Mike Babcock would have a stroke if he watched a Rielly-Barrie pairing in their own zone so it wouldn’t surprise me to see Muzz-Barrie take the top lines and Rielly pair with Ceci where Ceci will be the stay at home guy to let Mo do what he does best.When you compare the two, Cody Ceci had more of a positive impact on the on-ice results relative to his teammates last year than Nikita Zaitsev. Ceci’s stats were atrocious but so were the stats of most of the Ottawa Senators and it’s hard to succeed when you are playing with a lot of borderline AHL guys. Zaitsev is getting compared to better players in the rel calculations but Zaitsev’s stats were not good and he was playing on a far superior team with much better talent around him. I can’t overstate how ridiculous it was to expect Ceci to succeed in his role last year. At least Zaitsev was given skilled forwards, an aging Marleau aside, and two partners that have a history of raising their partner’s play in Gardiner and Muzzin. The only good thing Ceci had going for him on his team, Mark Stone, was traded to Vegas. I don’t think Ceci is a great hockey player but I think he’s unfairly dumped on a lot of the time and I’m cautiously optimistic that he can look competent if Babcock is able to recognize that he can be effective if he plays 19 mins a night against 2nd lines.To get the full picture, here are their 10 most common opponents (forwards only) from last year. Ceci was asked to do this, for the most part, beside rookies while getting an average of 2 more minutes of ice time per night. I get that Zaitsev received some tough deployment under Babcock but Ceci was a different level and it’d take a truly special player to succeed in his role last year.Transition StatsFinally, I just wanted to quickly take a look at Ceci and Zaitsev’s transition numbers both from last year and over the last three years.Last yearLast year was a really rough year for both guys. Both guys put up sub-par shot contribution numbers and I’ll talk about that below. Zaitsev put up solid entry defense numbers but could not move the puck up the ice to save his life. Ceci was horrible at defending zone entries last year and put up some mediocre entry and exit numbers. Both guys need to improve on their transition game in order to become effective top 4 guys in this league.Last three yearsWhen you look at the three-year sample, Zaitsev still maintains an edge in entry defenses but the gap isn’t as large as it was last year. Ceci’s entry and exit numbers were very poor last year but he actually has a history of being pretty decent at carrying the puck up the ice and he might be able to regain that form in Toronto. Both guys have never been great in terms of shot contributions but that is expected when you are put in the role that they both have filled for the past few years. I don’t know if either will be taken out of that role next year but if you can give them some easier zone starts and play them against more appropriate competition then I would expect their numbers to bump up a bit.ConclusionIn the end, trading Zaitsev and getting out of the rest of his contract is a major win for the Leafs in my book even if that means taking on Cody Ceci for a year. I believe that Ceci can fill a lesser role on this team if he’s given an opportunity to do so and even if he fails, it’s only a one year experiment. In the end, I wish Zaitsev luck with the Sens but I actually don’t mind the idea of taking on Ceci for a year as long as Babcock doesn’t overplay him like he did with Zaitsev and/or Hainsey. my WoBA (world of the bending arts) RPG atla oc, an airbender born in around 500AG, 17 yrs old and lives in the Republic City with her mums Mary and Rose, and their older sibling Reese. Elyha and Reese are both adopted by Mary and Rose and they often joke the family is the avatar but split up (Elyha air, Reese earth, Mary water and Rose fire). Elyha's bio parents was a moonblessed waterbender (like Yue) and an airbender, which is how she got her white hair.

Rira 'El Fuego'

another atla oc!! She got kidnapped as a very young child by Ozai and Azulon for her purple fire. She's around the same age as Lu Ten and is a very skilled firebender (Ozai and Azulon won't accept anything less, even from the child they kidnapped) and she, after realising the children were no danger, could be seen with Zuko, Azula and Lu Ten. She actually goes with Iroh to the siege of ba sing se! and after that, the sun warriors!

born in the early 1960s, she's one of my youngest OCs on 11 years! She's specifically from a Gravity Falls dream I once had, which then turned into an au.
