hi i'm begging you to tell me about izzy mccall 'cause i keep seeing her in your tags and i need to know more!!

GASP yes!!!

okay so izzy’s an oc i’ve had for a while and she was inspired by @thegalanerd’s oc ares delgado! izzy is scott’s maternal cousin (one of melissa’s brothers’ kids) and she’s in her mid twenties during season one.

in my head, she comes to beacon hills in between season one and two.

she was studying at the university of washington when she was attacked by a lone omega which causes her to also become a werewolf.

not wanting her parents to find out, she lies and says that other things happened, and she moves to beacon hills on a whim.

thankfully melissa takes her in, and izzy gets a job at the beacon hills library. eventually about midway thru season two she puts two and two together and realizes that scott is also a werewolf and becomes part of the mccall pack

her and derek have a lot of animosity bc she doesn’t like that him and peter are the reason her little cousin has been dragged into all this (there’s a scene in s3 that i have had in my head forever, where izzy finally blows up at derek and emotionally chews him out for his behaviour)

she’s basically the big sister to the mccall pack! her and lydia get along really well, and allison looks up to her a lot. when the puppy pack (liam, mason, cory, theo and brett) get introduced, takes them under her wing as well.

her and theo have beef for a while tho bc of yknow…. everything he did to scott. she also hates that he made her agree w stiles lol

in my universe where mason’s brother maverick is also involved with the pack, mav and izzy spend a lot of time hanging out together and worrying about their respective family member.

okay so I feel like she would feel most at home in Kerosene Hearts and Matchbox Bodies by @thegalanerd​ ‘cause Ares just has that effect, you know? I think Ares undoubtedly take one look at this tiny sad and tired looking girl who’s always angry and be like “well, you’re mine now” and Annie would just grow to think of her as the sister she never had and always needed. also she’d have another auntie and who doesn’t want Angela Bassett as their auntie??

As for the fic where she’d find the most craziness, I think either Out of the Woods by @susiesamurai​ or The Gloaming series by @yourpalmoony​ ‘cause what the fuck, vampires???? ‘cause, a’ight werewolves, we can deal with people shifting into canine-like creatures, canines we can do. but the undead nah, i don’t think annie would wanna fuck with the undead. Also I think with Nikita specifically it would have been really hard for her to reconcile who she used to be with her transformation?? either way, definitely lots of crazy would definitely ensue. 

Now as for her soulmate? I’m not sure to be honest, this could 100% be me just projecting because I fucking love @thetenthdoctorscompanion‘s Sadie Bennet more than life itself (a fuckin’ classic, don’t touch me). otherwise, i can just see annie falling in love with whoever can put up with her bullshit and can pull her back to earth when she’s having a rough time. then again, that’s assuming you’re talking about romantic soulmates ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I’m still in the process of reading this, but it truly is a great story.  I’ve read a lot of Teen Wolf fanfic, but this seems to bring new life to the story.  Ares is a breath of fresh air to Teen Wolf and her interactions with canon characters are spot on.  The writer literally keeps you on the ride for the entire story--never a dull moment.  Also, the comedic moments are perfectly timed in the writing.  You should all be reading this great work of art! :)
