Sooo i made this pony earlier this year but never posted her because she's kind of niche?? I went to school for geography and I'm a GIS analyst, so ive been itching to make a pony about it and here she is! Her hair references raster data and her freckles reference points and lines in vector data.

She likes open software, metal, and weird old maps!

In space, KPGRs serve as reliable transit and orbital vessel pilots. Their tall, robust frames not only endure harsh space environments but also command a natural authority: a peculiar asset in high-risk or volatile missions. Their presence is a common requirement aboard long-range or exposed flights.

While Kaiserpinguins are best known for their involvement in a certain high-profile space program, any mention of this operation is strictly prohibited. Disclosure or discussion of its details is a matter of legal consequence, with enforcement handled by state authorities. Despite this, the legacy of their participation continues to influence how the unit is perceived: respected by many, enigmatic to some, and closely monitored by few.

Physiology

Beneath their hard polyethylene shells lies a complex internal system optimized for extreme efficiency. The KPGR unit’s neural pattern originates from a professor of the Eusan National Geographical and Klimaforming Institute, donated voluntarily under a formal agreement between the Institute and the government. Although standard protocol mandates the complete erasure of a gestalt donor's identity from public records following pattern extraction, an exception was made in this case. The professor's existence was preserved under the condition that her official fate be recorded as an unfortunate death due to illness, with any reference to her connection to the KPGR unit strictly omitted from all documentation.

Known Issues

Kaiserpinguins are notably unsuited for combat scenarios. Their large frames are incompatible with standard weaponry, and they lack the agility required for both fast-paced skirmishes and sustained physical engagements. When exposed to direct combat, their processing speed deteriorates significantly, further compromising their performance. As a result, they are categorically excluded from any frontline assignments and are designated strictly for non-combat or tactical roles.
