while scintilla and iris have the sun - moon sibling vibes, solis is more like a dawn and hope in a sense. I know her name literally means the sun in latin but the main reason for that is that well... she's a daughter of solaire! and if you think a man so obsessed with searching for "his own sun" doesn't find it in his lover and then his daughter... think again
