The mess hall was every bit as chaotic and hectic as it normally was but today the volume and overcrowding was enough to give Eric a head ache and he couldn’t help but tuck Ella into his side and let the feel of her hand on his knee soothe his frazzled nerves.

That was until Christina slid into the bench across from them and slapped her hands on the metal table

“Hey Ella! That picture was gorgeous! I need Tris to start taking my insta pics!” She laughed, flicking through her tablet and sliding it across the table.

Their on the tiny clear screen was Ella pushed close to the camera caught somewhere between a laugh and a smile, her nose scrunched adorably and her eyes closed in content.

She looked so damn happy it made Eric’s chest swell. How had he not known that she had an Instagram? It wasn’t something he was a fan of but Max had forced all of the leaders to make an account to keep up with the other factions social activity.. he hardly went on it.. he wasn’t interested In Amity’s flower wreaths or Euridites “fact of the day”

He was so close to Ella he could feel the warm exhale of strawberry scented breath that left her lips when she laughed.

“Thanks Chris, Tris is pretty great at making me look somewhat decent.” She smiled shyly, wiggling even closer to Eric.. still desperately uncomfortable when it came to compliments of any kind. Christina stayed at the table for the rest of lunch chatting on about her trainees and Deemas inability to tell her how he felt. It wasn’t until Ella had to get back to her class that she waved goodbye to Christina and slid from the mess hall table, erics arms instantly slung around her waist keeping her close to his body that he spoke.

“ I didn’t take you for the Instagram kind of girl.” His head held high with well earned arrogance as he glared at anyone who dared stare a little too long at her hand over his casually resting on her stomach.

Ella laughed lightly shaking her head

“I’m not but it’s kind of fun. Tris was the one who showed me how to use it after I laughed in Max’s face. She takes most of the pictures I post on there but I’ve been known to be a little artsy when I want too.” She teased, turning to him and away from the training room as she stepped out of his grasp.

“Oh yeah? I’ll have to....follow you.” He winced.. the words falling from his lips awkwardly.

Ella laughed loud and clear and warm

“ you do that Coulter.” She propped herself on her tippy toes and pressed her lips to his cheek softly “I’ll see you later tonight.” And then she was gone through the training room doors leaving Eric’s skin feeling buzzy and hot.

To be fair he had waited until he was back in his office and away from prying eyes before he had pulled out his tablet and quickly typed Ella’s name in the search engine. Her photo was the first thing to pop up.

It was all downhill from there.

She was beautiful, her photos did nothing but solidify that fact and looking at her smiling face In the tiny square frames made him want to hold her and kiss her and make her laugh the way she did in those photos.. it wasn’t the pictures that bothered him.. it was the comments.

The male leaders of Dauntless were nothing short of pathetic and desperate judging by the comments they left on his girls post.

By the time he’d gotten to the end of her Instagram page Eric was livid, stomach tense and knotted, fists clenched and what he was sure was the most vile grimace on his face as he slammed his tablet onto the desk, shutting it down.

He would have to wait to see her until the end of the day.. the primal possessive jealousy raging a war on his nerves. Didn’t they know she was his? Wasn’t the way she was basically an extension of his body and he of hers enough of an indication to back off.. none of these men dared talk to her in passing..he didn’t understand social media.

Ella was waiting for him in the far back booth at the only bar Dauntless had when he arrived to meet her for dinner, her eyes scanning her surroundings and her bare arms relaxed against the cool leather. She was in her own world as always and she flinched when he slid in beside her pressing a kiss to her forehead.

“Hi Eric.” She sighed melting into his side.

“Hi Ella.” He grinned pulling out his cellphone and holding it up towards her face, Ella’s face instantly scrunched up in confusion before she stared directly at the camera and pouted.

“Are you taking a picture of me?”

The flash went off lighting up the dimly lit bar

“Eric!” Ella exclaimed, moving to grab the phone from his hands to see.

Eric stared at the photo on his phone keeping it just out of arms reach of Ella. She looked beautiful, sexy to a fault and downright adorable with her golden skin and big brown eyes. After a moment Eric tucked his phone back into his pocket and dropped his lips to Ella’s, pulling back and reaching for the menu.

“You’ll just have to follow me on Instagram.” He teased dryly. Ella reached for her phone, eyes wide before she typed In Her passcode

Their right after a photo of all of Erics rifles was the photo he had just taken one single word as the caption.

“Mine.”

Hotaru (first draft is finished)

- Abt two men that are linked through a surgery called “synchronisation”, which basically connects their minds and bodies, so they are forced to work as a team. Ea is an ex-soldier and Cain was a hacker, but due to the fact that they can’t stand each other, they also didn’t share their pasts with each other. To pay someone to unlink them, they become bounty hunters and kidnap the girl Ai and her robot Subaru, which is one of the old military robots, called Hotarus (high technologised, operating, transforming, artificial intelligence, ranger units). They are connected to a human ranger and can transform into what the ranger wants them to transform into.

The Hotaru headquarters exploded 10 years ago and since then the Hotarus are super rare on the black market.

The two men plan on selling both the girl and her robot and let’s just say it all doesn’t work out that well.

The day the world turned white ( first draft is finished, working on it)

To stop global warming some scientists basically caused a new ice age. On the long run this might be very effective but the former countries, now sectors, are hit by strong ice storms, called snow white. To stay safe huge bunkers, the Safe Cities, were built and the local fauna and flora were stored in Arks, to preserve them.

Usually an alarm sounds before all citizens are brought into the SCs, but this time Reese and her best friend Yuki dont manage to get to the vehicles on time and are left behind. They seek shelter in a private bunker outside of town that Yuki found out about recently. Suddenly a group of boys their age knocks on the door, because they were also left behind and followed the girls.

Al, the brothers Eli and Isaac, Gil and Henry become the new bunker-mates and the group has to survive one year in the bunker, until the storm is over.

About a group of rebels, the Sun Children, that are sworn enemies to the government and its ways to cope with Snow White.

Lucy and Aidan are kicked out of an underground organisation that stays in the cities underground system during the storm phases and the two wander around in the snow until Michael and Rin pick them up and bring them to the Sun Children. From looking into the snow directly to maneuver, Lucy has turned snowblind.

A story abt a clan of shapeshifters, called Indigos. They are basically human that can shift into dolphins and their clan lives on an island near Australia. Its a modern story and the gang consisting of our local gay dolphin girl Keerie, her cousins Akash and Arjuun (younger brother, older sis), and Ky ( adopted as a child, japanese heritage, a different breed of dolphin idk) lives their “normal lives” with lots of shenenigans and drama.

Some day Keerie falls in love with Navy, the daughter of the owner of the local Aquapark (that the clan suspect also does illegal stuff like snatching wild animals).

The script for a shortfilm i once made with my friends. A school class has a plane crash and only a few students survive, they all embody a different character archetype (the sunshine, the soziopath, the smart one etc.) They try to survive and are put through weird psychological mind experiments like the trolley problem.

To be honest, the concept had and still has a lot of potential and we just hadn’t the opportunities to rly set it the way we anticipated. The shooting day was super fun, though! Still laughing about the outtakes

Astral Chronicles (some art and a few chapters, unfinished)

A story Idea i still like but probably wont write like this because of copyright problems. Its basically a giant Crossover.

Its abt people who have an Astral( mostly a literature figure) they embody when they are dreaming. Their body stays in bed and is vulnerable but the Astral can basivally run around and has special powers. If the Astral dies, the person wakes up but i think when the body dies the person dies too? idk.

The Protagonist embodies Alice and there are also the White Rabbit, Peter Pan, Tinkerbell usw.

There was also some kind of conflict? I dont remember.

If i would ever rewrite it the Astrals would be embodiments of the Zodiac signs.

Actually super interesting but too many charas and a too tiny will to draw action scenes or write them.

Like its based around a super popular game in huge spheres/buildings and the teams wear some anti gravity outfits and shoes and can walk on the walls and shit and can basically attack using elements/illusion/ conjure monsters idk.

And the main team had an opponent team that basically specialized in the 25272 other elements and some day they just fused teams idk.

There also was some prophecy shit abt the anchors, ppl that can control all elements the same???? Idk

Growing up in the 1920s/1930s meant that Connie never really questioned her sexuality. She knew she was attracted to men and that was all that mattered. Besides, every woman thinks other women are hot too, right? And everyone has at least a little crush on Peggy so it's not weird that she does too, right? It's not until she wakes up in 2012 and starts catching up on important social issues that she finally has the language to identify herself.

Imara knew she liked girls from a young age. When she was a teenager, she realised she had absolutely no interest in boys and she was worried about how her family would react. Her sisters were very accepting but it took her parents a while to come to terms with her sexuality. Even after they did, she still had to keep it a secret from her extended family who live in India. She’s quite a private person anyway so she doesn't really mind. She is also not out to anyone in the Navy. The first person she comes out to is Nikki, who assures her that the Dagger Squad are good people and they won't care. She still doesn't feel the need to properly come out. Instead, the Squad figure it out by themselves after she and Phoenix start dating.

Kris Fletcher - Bisexual

Love interest: Deke Shaw

Out of all my fics with queer OCs, I would say Kris’ is the one where sexuality is discussed the most. It's an important part of who she is and, being a historian, she is very interested in queer history. Like Joey, she knows what it's like to feel othered even before she becomes an Inhuman. Her previous relationships also play a significant role in how her character develops and so are discussed often. In the year between S5 and S6, she really bonds with Piper as they often make jokes about being queer. Her sexuality is also important in S7 as the bigotry associated with different time periods rears its ugly head. This is especially relevant in 07x07 (the 80s episode) as it takes place at the same time as the AIDS crisis.

Maia is only 18 when the fic starts and, being so young, she doesn't feel ready for a serious romantic relationship. She previously had a ‘relationship’ with a childhood friend, Atlas, on Alura, but it wasn't really anything serious. She's too busy trying to figure out what she wants to do with her life to be bothered with romance. Then, once she joins the Jedi Order, she believes that romance is completely off the table for her. She is fine with this at first, dedicating her time to studying the Jedi way and teaching Anakin and Suria. It's only when the Clone Wars begin that she realises her feelings for Obi-Wan are not simply platonic.

After the Titans disband, Dick and Mari start dating again, only to break up around the time of Tony Zucco’s death. Dick leaves for Detroit without saying goodbye and Mari does vigilante work on her own for a while. Until she sees Robin on the news and goes to Detroit to investigate.

As Star Wars was one of my first fandoms, I'd love to hear about your OC Maia Callis, or her Padawan, Suria Vaali.

Star Wars was one of my first fandoms too! And it's a current hyperfixation that I'll gladly talk about anytime lol. :)

Maia is a Force-sensitive who grew up on her home planet Alura. She arrives on Coruscant, intending to become a senator, until she (literally) bumps into Obi-Wan. She discovers her Force-sensitivity and after a long debate with herself she takes a leap of faith, deciding to join the Jedi Order instead of the Senate. She's 18 years old at the time and many believe she's far too old to train as a Jedi. But she has Yoda and Qui-Gon on her side to help her. She becomes Obi-Wan's Padawan, which neither of them are ready for. They navigate struggles together and become close friends.

When Obi-Wan promises Qui-Gon he'll be Anakin’s Master, Maia is not ready to become a Knight. She takes the Trials anyway and passes. But she still hangs out with Obi-Wan and Anakin (of course, she’s just helping Obi-Wan train the boy, she’s definitely not there because she’s still trying to learn from Obi-Wan. Definitely not). And so Obi-Wan convinces her to get a Padawan of her own (after all, teaching is the best way to learn, as he found out the hard way). She's very resistant to the idea but when she meets Suria, they just click.

Anakin and Suria are like siblings. They bring each other out of their shells, going from nervous children to chaos incarnate. They're both mischievous and like to break the rules every so often, much to the dismay of their Masters. And having Padawans brings Obi-Wan and Maia closer as they're basically co-parenting. Obi-Wan has experience teaching the ways of the Jedi (which Maia doesn't) and Maia has experience wrangling young children and teenagers (which Obi-Wan doesn't). Their skills complement each other well.

There's something about the four of them being together that just feels natural. It's a little chaotic but there's a lot of love between them. It’s perfect.

At least, until the Clone Wars comes around.
