#oc: rowan appledore

Is this… can it be… YES, I made a BG3 character who isn’t any flavour of gith! That’s right - neither ‘yanki nor ‘zerai! Historic moment.

His name is Rowan Appledore and he is also my first Dark Urge, because I am defenceless against that tasty tasty “character most people don’t see as intimidating turns out to be the scariest one in the room” stuff. He’s going to do a lot of good deeds out of a desire to be seen as good and to stave off the (not entirely an artefact of low self-esteem, he’s starting to suspect) fear that he’s secretly a monster underneath it all. “I’m a nice person! No drama!” is his catchphrase - usually spoken through gritted teeth, with a visible sheen of sweat breaking out across his forehead.
