Introducing my Pathfinder WOTR ocs 🌿

🗡 Angrboda (Angra)

She / Her, half orc, freebooter, chaotic good, Arueshalae romance

Angra is a pirate, she loves to travel and never turns down a fight or a good feast, she was visiting Kenabres and happened to be there just in time for the festivities, when the demons attacked the city she didn’t waste time fighting them back. She decides to stick around to help repel the demon attacks but she wasn’t prepared to be appointed Commander, nonetheless Angra does her best to not let her new friends down.

🔥 Asmodea (Saga)

She / Her, tiefling, flame dancer, chaotic neutral, Woljif romance

Saga grew up in the streets of Kenabres where her guardian, a cunning tiefling woman who took her in as an infant, taught her how to survive and how use her powers not only to fight but to entertain. She picks the virtue name Saga as she had always been fond of stories and she always knew she wanted to be a singer. Saga joins Angra’s crusade in the hope to find protection and that things can go back to normal so she can go back to singing (and stealing) in taverns, but so far the young girl is enjoying the chaotic adventure she’s got caught up in and the friends she’s making along the way.

Hello Rhe! For Angra:

4. How easy is it to earn their trust?

21. Why do they get up in the morning? 

And for Saga:

29. Do they usually live up to their own ideals? 

36. Do they actively seek romance, or do they wait for it to fall into their lap? 

4. Angra is not a distrusting character and she tends to see the good in most people, but the pirate lifestyle also taught her not to be too quick to trust others so I’s say she’s medium difficulty. She also does give people a chance, especially those she considers friends, but she will cut people off without regret for breaking her trust, moreso after multiple chances.

21. Why not? There’s always new stuff to do and new places to see, Angra is an adventurer at heart and always curious to see what the day has in store.

29. Saga’s ideal is freedom, she mostly does a pretty good job at it, her other ideal is being the best singer and storyteller the world has seen and let’s say she’s getting there, her adventures with Angra surely are a good source of inspiration for her songs.

36. Saga is a romantic - even though she’ll eat her daggers before she admits it - she likes romantic songs and stories but she doesn’t actively seek out romance herself, mostly because she believes the stories to be just stories and she also has a pretty independent personality, although if love knocks at her door who is she to turn it away?

8, 21, 38, and H for Asmodea?

8. What were they told to stop/start doing most often as a child

“Stop telling everybody everything!” Saga’s adoptive mother often told her that for her own safety, she taught her not to put too much trust in others, to reveal as little about herself as possible and to pick her words carefully. She was very outgoing and didn’t understand why she was being scolded at first but eventually came to thank her mother for the lesson.

21. Why do they get up in the morning? 

To see the world, to live life to the fullest and do whatever she wants to do, she’s the type to try to make the best and take advantage of any situation, she wakes up to make the day good for herself, have fun, possibly steal some riches, sow some chaos and get into trouble.

38. What memory do they revisit the most often? 

Her meeting with Angra! In the caves underneath kenabres she was scared (she’ll never admit it), she’s a bard not really a fighter she doesn’t know how to fend off demons so what does she do when the tall half orc shows up in the dark caves? She followed her, and she fully expected to be shooed away once they got out, but Angra never did that, she offered her drinks once they got at the inn and became her first real friend and almost like a big sister and Saga will always remember her kindness.

H. What trait do you admire most?

Her free spirit nature and confidence, I’m an anxious person I tend to overthink but Asmodea? She does what she feels like when she feels like she’s confident she’s fun and I like that about her, she’s my little troublemaking gremlin! <3

Edgy oc ask for Saga! 5, 6, 24?

This is more difficult because Saga isn’t as fleshed out as some of my other ocs 😭

5: How far is your OC willing to go to get what they want?

Saga doesn’t have to go that far, for one because she doesn’t wants anything particularly crazy she just wants to live her life, have the money to buy pretty things, also she usually gets what she wants by stealing it or by deception, manipulation and sneakiness.

6: How easily could your OC be convinced to do something that goes against their moral compass?

Moral compass aside (hers is similar to Woljif to give you an idea) if Saga doesn’t want to do something there’s no convincing or changing her mind, she’s stubborn as a mule and she does things her way only, she could be bribed but that wouldn’t be enough to convince her to do something that’s against her (you couldn’t bribe her into killing someone because that’s something she just wouldn’t want to do) she’s a thief and a bit of a scammer but she couldn’t be something like a murderer.

24: What is an alternative life path your OC might have gone down? How different would their life be if they'd made those decisions?

Not many decisions were actually up to Saga, her parents abandoned her and she couldn’t do much about it, stealing was pretty much the only choice she had to survive at least until her adoptive mom took her under her wing, the biggest choice she made was to become a bard, if she didn’t have the calling for music and stories she would have probably become a rogue, maybe she might have been part of the Family like Woljif but I don’t think so because she’s always preferred to work solo and rely on herself only, or she could have become a great con artist. I’m not sure it would have been a lot different since she would have remained in Kenabres anyways and therefore met Angra and joined the Crusade.
