which of your hotd ocs are team green or team black (and maybe why)

aaah, great question pal! i think i have my mind made up for most of them, so i will list my ocs’ alignments and a brief description of why they chose that respective side below.

*TEAM GREEN/ALICENT’S PARTY:

aliza oleander (née hightower) — due to being the sister of otto and aunt of alicent.

juliaena tyrell (née oleander) — due to being the cousin of alicent.

mykal oleander — due to being the cousin of alicent. also served as her son, aegon’s political ally.

rhaerion targaryen — originally sided with the blacks at his sister, rhaenys’ behest, but later switched allegiances in order to gain favor for vivienne oleander’s hand.

torvi (the right eye) — due to becoming involved with prince aemond.

vivienne oleander — sided with the queen’s party out of her loyalty and blood relation to alicent (it might be fair to note she was manipulated into choosing sides). encouraged by her fondness of her cousin’s children.

*NEUTRAL OR UNINVOLVED:

jaehra targaryen — never cared for politics (or really anyone but herself) so she never vouched for either side

mortin oleander — died before either party commenced

raisa royce — never publicly sided with any party, but was assumed to have preferred the greens due to her love for alicent and hatred for daemon

*TEAM BLACK/RHAENYRA’S PARTY:

doranah of wyl — as both an act of revenge out of being scorned by her husband, ser criston cole, as well as to serve as a secret spy to her lover, daemon.

jaegor waters — due to his amassed loyalty to his brother, daemon targaryen, and thus rhaenyra

seraena storm — due to her fondness of rhaenyra and her loyalties to her father

oooh for sure! idk if it’s much of a spoiler or not but i will list the ones who die and a brief description of how under the cut just in case:

aliza oleander (nee hightower): illness 

glendys tyrell: killed in the seize of harrenhal 

jaegor waters: gravely injured during his final standoff against rhaerion targaryen. dies hours later. 

jaehra targaryen: childbirth (yeah i am shooketh too lmao)

juliaena tyrell (nee oleander): poisoned 

layn strong: killed in the seize of harrenhal 

raisa royce: killed for her attempt to release alicent from captivity 

rhaerion targaryen: stabbed through the heart by jaegor waters 

torvi the right eye: slain by daemon targaryen 

vivienne oleander: illness

❝godolkin university was supposed to be aliza galvan’s safe haven. a place the formerly dubbed freak could finally make something of herself. honing electrokinesis—the ability to psychically siphon and manipulate electricity at will—such a rare power could make anyone a force to be reckoned with. however, according to professor richard brinkerhoff, better known as brink, aliza was no such thing. he failed to see the hero potential in the troubled young teen, insisting she lacked general marketability (and likability for that matter). she was not charismatic like a-train or sincere like starlight. still, aliza refused to change. if she was going to make it to the top it would be on her own stark terms, and she would stop at nothing to get there. by sophomore year, she had managed to scheme her way to the #9 ranking spot all thanks to campus bad boy, mick bates, and his secret ties to vought. a fact that was hardly a secret to those around her. having earned herself a guileful reputation by the time the campus’s literal golden boy, luke riordan, abruptly ends his own life, some even go as far as to suspect she may have had something to do with it. his friends, however, surprisingly seek her assistance in uncovering the truth behind his death, as well as the role something only referred to as the woods could have had. aliza had few reasons good reasons to lend a hand sans the knowledge she would gain. but hey, knowledge was power after all. and there was nothing she ached more for than power and control…❞
