i have this silly little headcanon for my bg3 character thea zilan. i made her a hardcore ilmater devotee who is very self-sacrificing and doesnt think about personal safety, only how to take pain away from others.
so when gale gets super mad over nettie trying to poison you and is so passionate about your life, i feel like that'd really affect thea. bc it isnt something she is used to. and in my mind that's definitely where their romance started, even if he had his own reasons for acting that way
