ok so its this entire thing, aizawa used to be a saturation diver, nearly died, joined this small research/diving center, it’s more like an indepemdent project with a really small team, mic follows after him. accident happens, aizawa retires from being a diver and instead climbs up the ranks as a researcher, handles the lil sea drones and machines. they adopted a kid, eri, not much to be said about her she just hangs out a lot at the center, is the (jokingly) unofficial mascot of the place. then enter bitchsuki, ran away from home and made himself a not-so-ideal living in the coast town that the center is at. he’s always loved the ocean and swimming so when the opportunity presents itself he joins the center as soon as he can. mic, being one of the only divers there, very enthusiastically takes him under his wing. mic has also served time. no, he didn’t kill anyone, but he has done some pretty bad things that got him into some shit in the past. HE’S MOVED PAST IT, he’s redeemed himself, but barely anyone knows what he did, even beloved husband aizawa
