i’ve been having a lot of fun with a paranatural au for mp100 in my spare time, here’s mob n teru! 

i have more written down in a really chaotic doc (and A Lot More i still need to do), but i havent drawn anything else worth posting so far ;w; feel free to ask abt it tho! the main esper crew is mostly down atm, plus various notes on the supporting esper cast 

some notes copied verbatim from twitter (mild manga spoilers): 

mob's powers are still linked to his emotions, in a barely different way due to the Assumed limits of pnat's rules. ive thought abt it A Lot and adapted Every Single One of his explosions, & ch100 functions relatively the same

ive thought similarly for teru, i didnt wanna just erase the fact that hes a really fast n smart learner when it comes to powers. the function of his tool is EXCLUSIVE to copying other Spirits' powers. teru copies others' energy manip as fast as he does in canon (ie. terada)

mob's relationship to ???% in this au is a bit of a combination of the relationship between King C. and Peekaboo with their respective mediums (but more Peekaboo leaning. i'm playing it fast and loose since we haven't seen too much of that)

originally, mob was a medium AND tool user (like spender), his tool assisted him in the suppression of ???% but then i....remembered Peekaboo exists, and the tool became pointless, because ???% is Not like spender's Shadow, it isnt some scary beast, it doesnt need to be contained

also i just realized i mayve not worded this clearly in teru's profile cuz i cant speak: teru doesnt have two spirits At Current, he's had two spirits Ever Total. from childhood to meeting mob he had an ego boosting jerk spirit, and the altercation with mob destroyed it/its tool

ok listen. its very much a dsmp au bc my first instinct when i see angst is. Fix It but its turned from everything is fine and nothing hurts into like. its gonna get fixed eventually but first im gonna cause. extra suffering for me anyway

so the basic premise behind it is that phil and mumza had triplets who ended up being gods through ye olde rule of "if yr more than 75% god, you are also a god" bc phils a demigod via angel of death powers and mumza is. mumza

these triplets are my self-insert(also named oli bc its easier for me to remember), wilbur, and grian. tommys also there, but hes like a lot younger due to being a clone of phil with some added chaos/void magic bc the void decided to give phil another kid. as a gift

techno is phils war buddy from smpe and also like. an older brother/father/uncle/???? figure to oli bc Reasons in-universe oli joined the antarctic empire, out of universe i just wanna be buddies with c!techob lade

everyone that ive mentioned so far is either immortal or vaguely immortal. mumza is the oldest bc. goddes of death, shes been around since the beginning of time. then phil, then the triplets, then techno, then tommy who is Very Much Younger Than Everyone Else. hes like, actually 16 while the triplets just look like theyre abt 19 but are Much Older

the thing with gods that are under 100% god in this universe is that they need some deeply traumatic event to happen to "activate" their godhood and powers. grian gets fucked over first bc he gets kidnapped by the watchers at approximately age 5-7 and obviously thats uh. kinda traumatic. this is also when mumza leaves the overworld for the end(i decided the end is the realm of the gods) to search for him with her true form and powers. will and oli get 'awakened' at the same time, which is when the actual storyline starts.

said actual storyline starts when phil joins the dsmp canonically, but here its phil and oli hacking in. phil doesnt find the button room in time, bc ive basically given oli phils job to make it worse for Everyone

why have the pain of a father killing their son when you can have the pain of someone killing their twin?? so oil kills will after a whole ordeal and then also reassurance from mumza that its ok (mm being encouraged by yr parent to kill yr twin brother) so will gets the trauma of Dying, and oli gets the trauma of killing their brother!

so once awakened, the triplets gain their powers/godhood. grian is the god of birds and chaos, will gets mental illness and music, and oli gets blood and life. yes i made my self insert the blood god. for fun and profit.

so then it kinda vaguely follows the storyline of the smp with added oli. olis main goals are to resurrect will and also locate grain. basically get the triplets back together.

thats all my brain can write out for the moment without frying itself whoops

who would i write it abt: this whole meme isnt gonna just be abt taz i PROMISE but i LITERALLY tweeted abt this just a few weeks ago - i rly RLY want someone to do a taako/kravitz one where krav is a prince and the raven queen is his Reasonable But Distant mom and taako is like, the adopted son of some nobles who are mostly just trying to get rid of him, and magnus and merle work for taako’s family probably??? LOTS of extremely decadent clothing, lots of kravitz pining and feeling guilty abt it, lots of learning to trust each other. im into the Big Ship in very specific permutations and this is absolutely one of them. ALSO smth im very into for nico/alex lmao…………….. RUNAWAYS LENDS ITSELF SUPER WELL TO THIS bc all their parents work perfectly as Powerful Scheming Royalty, and like, u could ALSO do like a nico/chase Moirail One where nico covers for chase while he keeps sneaking off to make out w gert, but. like. The Bad Ship. ALEX IS IMMEDIATELY OBSESSED W HER. would i write it: MORE LIKE…………….. IS THERE ANY LITERAL FORCE ON EARTH THAT COULD POSSIBLY STOP ME. i fucking SNEEZE and a hogwarts au comes out. THE ONLY THING IS I ALWAYS GET LIKE…………. SUPER DEEP IN THE PAINT WITH IT, i cant do a hogwarts au without it becoming a multi-generation subplot-laden ensemble cast months-long ordeal but i feel like thats the only PROPER way
