is there any feeling in the entire world more satisfying than improvising a recipe for dinner and having it come out exactly like you pictured it
#listen i don’t use instagram so when i cook something nice i’ve gotta post it here#i was already planning to make myself a frozen peach margarita tonight#and as i was trying to think of what to have it with an image appeared fully formed in my mind#of tacos with corn tortillas and a bed of stewed black beans and baked fish and diced mango and sprouts#and so i went to the grocery store and created exactly that (plus avocado and trader joe’s jalapeno sauce)#an absolutely perfect summer meal and i would have paid like $30 for it at the restaurant down the street that inspired it#cw: food
