Current Month in TOA: Verdant Rain Moon

Our first lore event of 2023 begins this month! Keras Kai Elephas will begin at noon EST on January 2nd and run until the beginning of February. Please wait until the event begins for the team announcements and more information.

We will open up inventory selection when the event begins on January 2nd. As a reminder, event inventories can be changed until January 5th. That said, we ask that you be patient with the mod team as we sort through them and the monthly claims. We guarantee that everything will be set before the event begins in full, even if it takes us a couple of days to get to your requests.

Signups for the event will reopen on January 5th and close again on January 12th, so that will be your last chance to sign up if you haven’t already!

Thank you to everyone who filled out our feedback form last month and weighed in on our ideas about the 4th muse slot. Due to the responses we received, we have decided that we will not add a 4th muse slot. TOA will remain with an allocation of 3 muses per mun.

The Discord banner contest will accept entries until January 17th! Please refer to the server announcement in the #officialannouncements channel for more information.

A new installation to the Fire Emblem series is just around the corner! Fire Emblem Engage is slated to release on January 20th, and with a whole new cast of characters, the Officers Academy will be having its largest cast expansion since its creation. While we will eventually accept characters from the land of Elyos, these characters will not be available until midnight on March 1st, 2022. TOA operates on a first-come, first-served basis, so we will be processing reservations and applications in the order that they arrive in our inbox.

Please don’t forget to leave feedback on our [feedback poll] for this month! If you have feedback during the course of the event, feel free to leave it whenever it crosses your mind, but we will have specific questions about it on February’s form.

We hope everyone’s been enjoying the latest installment in the series, Fire Emblem Engage! Released on January 20th with a whole new cast of characters, the Officers Academy will be having its largest cast expansion since its creation in 2019. While we will eventually accept characters from the land of Elyos, these characters will not be available until midnight on March 1st, 2022. TOA operates on a first-come, first-served basis, so we will be processing reservations and applications in the order that they arrive in our inbox. To ensure that your message gets to us without issue, please avoid using semi-colons and colons in your reservations. Additionally, prior activity will apply for current members, so please be sure that you’ve been active enough with your existing muses before applying for an Engage muse.

Crypto Market Wrap: EOS Leading Altcoin Resurgence, About to Flip BCH

Crypto markets back up today; EOS and Binance Coin leading, Ontology and Tezos close behind.

There was doubt of a dump yesterday, looming like dark clouds on the horizon, however a stiff breeze has cleared them out and crypto markets remain buoyant for another day. The brief dip below $180 billion in market capitalization was recovered and no correction has occurred yet.

Bitcoin is still holding on to $5,200 where it has consolidated for the past few days. It dropped to an intraday low of $5,170 but recovered quickly and is currently trading a little higher on the day at $5,250. BTC appears to be heading back to its micro resistance level of $5,300 to test it again.

Ethereum is back up at $180 after posting a gain of almost 3% on the day. At the moment ETH is mirroring what big brother does so that is the one to watch. Both are approaching strong technical resistance levels though.

The rest of the top ten is mostly green today recovering from yesterday’s losses. Leading the way during Asian trading is EOS which has made 7% on the day taking it above $5.80. It is just $100,000 behind BCH now and about to flip it for fifth. Binance Coin is a close second with over 6% gained to reach $18.60. Movements by the rest are smaller with just a couple of percent or so.

The top twenty is also all green with the biggest gains coming from NEO, Ethereum Classic and Ontology, all up around 4% today. Tezos is just outside the top twenty but that will change shortly as it gains over 5% and chases down NEM.

FOMO: ABBC Coin Agrees With Alibaba

A 45% fomo pump has given ABBC the day’s top performing altcoin accolade. Price for this serial pumper and dumper has now reached $0.28. The yearlong dispute with Chinese ecommerce giant Alibaba has finally reached a mutually agreeable conclusion according to the latest post;

These are the only two double digit altcoins at the time of writing. There are no major dumps occurring at the moment but KuCoin Shares are bottom of the pile dropping 4%.

Daily volume is at $50 billion and the outlook is still very bullish for the time being.
