my baby is eight months old and every month of his wonderful little life has been better and more joyful than the last (which is saying something, because every month has been so good). he is still very Baby but he is also suddenly blossoming into a little kid before my eyes and it’s so much to handle 😭 he has always been an expressive talker but these days he has the most delightfully animated little conversations with himself, full of complex baby feelings like surprise and delight and shock and glee and of course spluttering indignation (you would not BELIEVE the wrongs done to angelic little babies these days! they have to take naps in their CRIBS!!). he laughs and gasps and hoots and fake coughs, and then he looks at you with a sly little expression to see if you think he’s funny. he is silliest with me by far (he still gets a bit shy and reserved around new people) but he also absolutely adores Liz & A and his nanny and breaks into the most bashful gummy little grin as soon as they walk into a room. he is still bald as an egg but NOT FOR LONG, as he wakes up every morning with more dark fuzz on his big round noggin. this month he learned to sit up and now he wants to be sitting up playing with his toys all the time (he is over the moon to have discovered a mother-approved alternative to accursed tummy time). he has developed strong preferences for certain toys along with the motor skills to select the objects he wants, and he is quite discerning—last week’s toys are so last week and he gets an impatient expression on his face if you try to entice him with formerly beloved objects that are just like sooooo over, mom, pleaseee don’t embarrass him in front of his friends (the dogs). speaking of the dogs it is his most cherished desire to pat them but they give him a wide berth except for the occasional facewash sneak attack. he spends a lot of time bouncing up and down in his seat reaching longingly for them while they ignore him completely. he has the chonkiest most solid little baby feet you have ever seen in your life and little fat bow legs that curve down to his chonky little feet and perfect fat little baby hands that he loves to slam repeatedly against his tray or his mat or your face. he has one little razor-sharp sliver of a front bottom tooth and I genuinely CANNOT handle it, it is just too much, he gives you his square little gummy smile and then you see the TOOTH and you’re like that’s it, I’m dead, this killed me. he had perfectly shaped little orecchiette ears when he was born and I am delighted to report that they remain absolutely perfect and when you nibble on them he acts like you’re tickling him and does his little turtle-in-a-shell teeheehee reaction. I would say that his basic temperament is the same but perhaps tends more towards a happiness default than the reserved watchfulness of previous months. he is still quite watchful—in all the daycare videos I get he is sitting with the big kids observing them play with a totally focused expression—but he is also delightfully silly and laughs a lot, especially at home. if he’s not hungry and has napped reasonably well, he is easygoing, adaptable, and game for pretty much whatever. he is such a good sleeper I can’t tell anyone in my offline life about it except liz whose baby is also a unicorn sleeper… but honestly I think that’s probably the root of his default good mood (if I slept 12 hours a night I’d also be the best possible version of myself). let’s see what else… idk this month has just been so fun. he’s just a little person now and I genuinely enjoy hanging out with him. I just think he rocks.
his favorite toy in this exact moment: his stacking cups, especially when you put a plastic ball inside of them for him to tip out onto the floor. his most beloved object: his squishmallow, of course, which sends him into transports of delight when he sees it. his favorite food: with the exception of arugula this child has never met a food he didn’t like. he LIVES to EAT. words his daycare teacher most frequently uses to describe him: “Owen is SOOOO hungry!!!” other favorite activities this month: kicking in the bath or in the pool, watching trees go by on car rides, slamming his hands as hard as he can against his high chair tray, watching the dogs wrestle, being swung slowly back and forth like the pendulum in a giant clock, gazing at his beautiful reflection in the mirror, kissing his beautiful reflection in the mirror, having mom make his squish swoop down from high above to CHOMP him, chewing on the edges of plastic bins, and scritch-scratching the rock wall outside of our house. he’s perfect. my beloved little kiddo.

A List of Gripes, Misgivings, Nitpicks, and Other Criticisms of the Wilds Beta
With the beta winding down, we should all take the time to really reflect on how much we enjoyed it. Well, of course we enjoyed it. This is Monster Hunter we're talking. But the beta was, well, a beta test. Capcom dropped it to us specifically to test out Wilds, and generate feedback. This is exactly what I have today to, if they somehow see this; feedback. This is a list of gripes, nitpicks, and small misgivings about MH Wilds I have developed from my time with the beta. I would also like to hear the thought of the community at large and how they compare to my own. I played about 20 hours of it from Tuesday until Sunday, but didn't quite get to trying out all of the weapons. I do, however, have notes on most of them. While I adored the beta and am just as hype for Wilds as the next guy, the whole point of a beta is still to generate constructive community feedback. To that end, here's what I have to say:
System:
Right off the bat, sure I'm on PS5, but this game *really* needs better PC optimization. As funny as looking like a PS1 game for some people was, that simply should not be happening to so many people who have purchased a new GPU anytime in the past couple of years.
Can there please be an option to play offline even if your system is online? Thank you very much. 100 player lobbies are cool and all, but if I wanted to play a game with MMO elements like that I would play an actual MMO. It was my biggest gripe with World for most of its lifespan, and I can't help but think it's only gonna get worse with Wilds.
Environment:
I get if it was done the way it was for the sake of demonstration, but the weather shouldn't change nearly as fast as it did in the beta. It coming and going so often made it feel a lot less significant.
Gathering was for the most part cool, but had some really tedious aspects. I like the idea using the grappling hook for it, but I think that putting loot away takes way too long. Also why does zooming in automatically take the Seikret out of sprint? Can I please sprint while focusing aback the birb?
Speaking of items, the item box menu was awful. Why are all the useful functions in their own dinky little menu? Literally just give me Rise item box, or at least add a 1-button shortcut to the loadout and select stack menus.
I also think the equipment menu could be a little better. I think there should be some button that specifically goes to the loadouts menu and one that goes to the armor-by-set menu.
Fishing was way too slow. I know the whole point of fishing is patience, but I shouldn't have to wait two minutes just to catch a single Sushifish. The full game will probably have consumable baits to remedy this, but nonetheless fishing as it stood was truly agonizing.
I wish we knew about how cooking ingredients work. How do we replenish them in the full game? Do we just buy them from that little grocery stand in base camp? Do we earn them for doing optional requests? What's the deal there? Dumping a bunch of them onto us was probably the way to go for the beta, but I'm gonna be hungry for answers until the full release drops.
The pop-up camp system is really cool, I just think it needs some fine tuning. I think that monsters ought to be a little less inclined to attack "Dangerous" camps than they were in the beta, and a little more inclined to attack "Unsafe" camps.
Monsters:
Chatacabra's damage was undertuned. I know it's basically this game's drome, but I'm pretty sure Great Izuchi dealt more damage in the Rise demo than Chatacabra ever did. It only barely felt like a threat in that first quest, and that was mostly because we didn't get to eat beforehand.
Doshaguma's damage, however, was overtuned. Alpha Dosha managed to cart me more times on average than Rey Dau. If Doshaguma is sort of supposed to be the Anjanath to Rey Dau's Rathalos, that just should not be the case. Also, I think it was way too aggressive in its last phase. Felt worse than a 4th gen Furious Rajang in that regard.
Balahara was a weird mix of attacks that did way too much damage and did too little. Generally, the mud attacks were a little too strong, and the biting attacks were a too weak, but that might just be a matter of personal taste. Shouldn't the attacks by its mouth, which is a perma-wound when open, be really dangerous to present some sort of risk-reward?
The fight itself was extremely well tuned--overall the best in the beta--but I wish Rey Dau would actually use area 5 more often. I only ever saw it go up there a couple of times. Maybe make it go up there instead of 9 and 10 during the Plenty?
Weapons:
Focus mode is really cool, but trying to move independently from the camera and hold an attack at the same time is really awkward. Maybe add an option to bind Focus Mode to L3 on controllers?
Greatsword doesn't feel nearly as meaty as I wish it would. Also, what why does Hammer have something with a higher MV than TCS? It's a really cool attack, don't get me wrong, but I just find the idea of TCS being dethroned in that regard irksome. Other than that, both were great. I mained Hammer in World and Greatsword in GU, and they're both probably gonna be up there in Wilds.
Gunlance felt strong. Like it did a wee bit too much damage for once. Maybe slightly reduce the shell damage. That being said, please for the love of god don't touch shell scaling now that, after 5 whole generations, it is finally fixed. Maybe they could, however, remove the wee bit of intrinsic fire from them and change that out for whatever element the Gunlance itself has? Pretty please?
Nothing but praises to sing for Longsword, Lance, and Charge Blade. They knocked it out of the park with these. Maybe a little too much with Longsword in particular.
Also no real notes on the Sword & Shield, Dual Blades, Hunting Horn, or Insect Glaive. I'm not super familiar with these weapons to begin with.
I have no notes whatsoever on any of the ranged weapons. Didn't get around to playing them myself and have never really liked them to begin with. Bow looks cool though.
That leaves Switch Axe. Poor, poor, Switch Axe. The focus attacks are cool. The counter in Sword Mode and the Offset in Axe Mode are cool. Unbridled and Full Release Slash are cool. But why does sword gauge not recharge passively? Why do sword attacks consume so much gauge? Why revert the change from Rise and not let axe mode get phial bursts when amped? Why does Axe Mode feel more like a chore than anything else? Why does the amped state last for so little time? Also why does hitting circle after that one axe combo morph you into sword? Why is morph slash not always an option? Why does trying to input Wild Swing while moving forward do that fuckass running attack? They had a great thing going in Rise, and IMO kinda dumpstered Switch Axe in Wilds from what we've seen.
TL:DR; I hope Capcom does some fine tuning here and there, fixes up the tent menus, makes fishing bearable, and for the love of Gog fixes Switch Axe for Wilds's full release in February. This game is already looking like one of the best 2025 releases, and if they can just tune it a little bit, it might become my single favorite video game ever.

(warning, LOONGG late night rambling post)
ok, so you know about Yume Nikki Online? that really good online multiplayer hub hosting both the original game and a collection of fangames? i feel like that idea could apply really well to OFF and its fangames too! and i got the perfect name for it, OFFline.
i imagine it can go with a similar premise of YNO but just allow people to talk and gather around in OFF-related games. but i see a lot of potential for OFFline to include some kind of PvP-dedicated fangame, which I'll call Engage. which, with how many ideas i have for it, might be best to not make in EasyRPG.
the basic idea i have in mind is that there's a central hub where people can just chat and hang out which has three divisions:
Versus
Team Battle
Arcade, subdivided into Campaign and Endless.
Tumblr media
what all of these modes have in common is a shopkeeper. it'll probably be better to make them an original character, but basically, for Versus and Team Battle, at the beginning of a match, you're given a set amount of credits to purchase from a list of items, weapons, and armor. for consistency's sake, i think its best that certain items are locked for certain characters only (say, no one else can use weapons and armor for Home characters), but healing and damage items are fair play for all.
whoever hosts a room will be able to dictate which select fangame they'd wish to fight in (as in, which cast of characters both users must use), OR decide that anything goes and both users are free to make the party of their dreams (its also here that they'd be free to select which battle theme plays).
Versus mode is between two players, who have full control of their own parties. while Team Battle is a 4v4, where each player will have control over their selected party member.
as for Arcade, its basically just singleplayer fun; the intent is that with the large amount of enemies and bosses from the multitude of fangames present, it will bring something different each time via randomizer. Campaign i would describe as being similar to Smash 3DS's Classic Mode, where you're given 3 branching paths with varying difficulties. the more difficult ones you beat, the more credits you earn, where you can make a pitstop before each boss to stack up (with zodiac orbs being pricier). referring to the sketch above, yellow cubes are enemy encounters, red cubes are bosses, and purple is for the end-game boss (the final boss from the og game/fangame, if applicable). i figured that every 3rd or 4th encounter being a boss will help prevent the gameplay from being monotonous beatdowns of regular enemies. you'll get choices for enemies and bosses, but there's only one endgame boss and that's random each time.
and lastly, Endless mode is just that. this time, you're given a larger supply of credits to use and once you enter the first round, there's no going back. each round will supply a minute amount of health or energy items to use, but will progressively get more difficult. my hope here is that it isn't just more enemies each round, but for it to sometimes bring fewer but beefier enemies, and maybe even a miniboss. you progress through each round by clicking on the individual cube labeled with the appropriate number. i figured like this it'd be more reasonable to fit within RPG2k3's limits but at this point it would be bloated so oh well. and of course, once you die, it ends. a public leaderboard will be on display to show the top 10 players and their scores.
now to get the obvious out of the way, online functionality with this many features would be difficult, if not impossible, to implement. as such, i would not be opposed to taking an approach similar to the UT fangame Don't Forget, where OFFline will be developed on an engine like Gamemaker and attempt to re-create RPG2k3's vibe and the individual games being hosted, along with Engage. the problem with the latter is that i think its more realistic to just let EasyRPG do all the work in porting the fangames like YNO, rather than recreate each one in a more modern engine. but at the same time, that would be the only feasible way of having any of these planned features to work without any fuckups. of course, i suppose a workaround to having multiplayer work in RPG2k3 would be to have a Parsec session or something similar, but that'd only be a solution for Versus mode at best. it would definitely not work for Team mode and might conflict with general offline.
in fact, the idea of OFFline might take some mad wizardry to even make it work, and i wouldn't be surprised if it barely works. making it in EasyRPG and using 2k3 as the basis vs. making it in a modern engine is the double-edged sword of this whole hypothetical. i'd love for something like this to happen, but i imagine it would be too much work to not only develop, but to keep the servers online for an otherwise niche fanbase. still, i cant shake away how much potential and fun this could be.
with that said, rambling is now over!

Whether you're a beginner or someone looking to upgrade your skill set, full stack training offers the knowledge needed to thrive in tech.
What Is Full Stack Training?
Full stack training teaches you how to build and manage both the client-side (front-end) and server-side (back-end) of web applications. This training covers essential languages, frameworks, and tools used to develop complete, scalable web applications.
Why Choose Full Stack Training?
There are several reasons why full stack development is a preferred path:
High Demand: Full stack developers are in high demand across industries.
Versatility: You can handle projects from start to finish.
Lucrative Salary: Full stack professionals earn competitive salaries globally.
Flexibility: Work as a freelancer, startup founder, or part of a corporate team.
By enrolling in full stack training, you're investing in a skill set that can lead to countless career opportunities.
Key Components of Full Stack Training
To become a successful full stack developer, you must understand both front-end and back-end technologies. Let’s break it down.
1. Front-End Development
The front-end is what users see and interact with on a website.
HTML: The foundation of any web page.
CSS: Used to style HTML content.
JavaScript: Adds interactivity and functionality to web pages.
Frameworks: React, Angular, or Vue.js for building dynamic user interfaces.
2. Back-End Development
The back-end manages databases, servers, and application logic.
Programming Languages: Node.js, Python, PHP, Java, or Ruby.
Databases: SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
APIs: Create and manage RESTful APIs for data exchange.
Server Management: Handling server setup, security, and performance optimization.
3. Version Control Systems
Git & GitHub: Essential for collaboration and code management.
4. Deployment and Hosting
Learn how to deploy apps using:
Heroku
Netlify
AWS or Azure
By mastering all these elements through full stack training, you'll be ready to tackle any web development project.
What to Look for in a Full Stack Training Program
Not all full stack training courses are created equal. Here’s what to look for:
1. Comprehensive Curriculum
Choose a program that covers both front-end and back-end development, version control, deployment, and best coding practices.
2. Hands-On Projects
Practice is key. Look for training with real-world projects and assignments.
3. Expert Instructors
Experienced mentors can make complex topics easy to understand.
4. Certification
A recognized certificate can boost your credibility with employers.
Benefits of Full Stack Training
Still wondering why you should enroll in a full stack course? Here are some unbeatable benefits:
1. Accelerated Learning Path
Full stack training condenses years of knowledge into a structured, easy-to-follow format.
2. Career Flexibility
You can work in various roles such as:

Full Stack Development Trends in 2025: What to Expect
In the rapidly evolving tech landscape, full stack development continues to be a crucial area for innovation and career growth. As we step into 2025, the demand for skilled professionals who can handle both front-end and back-end technologies is only expected to surge. From artificial intelligence integration to serverless architectures, this field is experiencing some major transformations.
Whether you're a student, a working professional, or someone planning to switch careers, understanding these full stack development trends is essential. And if you're planning to learn full stack development in Pune, one of India’s tech hubs, staying updated with these trends will give you a competitive edge.
Why Full Stack Development Matters More Than Ever
Modern businesses seek agility and efficiency in software development. Full stack developers can handle various layers of a web or app project—from UI/UX to database management and server logic. This ability to operate across multiple domains makes full stack professionals highly valuable.
Here’s what’s changing in 2025 and why it matters:
Key Full Stack Development Trends to Watch in 2025
1. AI and Machine Learning-Driven Development
Integration of AI for predictive user experiences
Chatbots and intelligent systems as part of app architecture
Developers using AI tools to assist with debugging, code generation, and optimization
With these technologies becoming more accessible, full stack developers are expected to understand how AI models work and how to implement them efficiently.
2. Serverless Architectures on the Rise
Reduction in infrastructure management tasks
Focus shifts to writing quality code without worrying about deployment
Increased use of platforms like AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, and Google Cloud Functions
Serverless frameworks will empower developers to build scalable applications faster, and those enrolled in a Java programming course with placement are already being introduced to these platforms as part of their curriculum.
3. Micro Frontends and Component-Based Architectures
Projects are being split into smaller, manageable front-end components
Encourages reuse and parallel development
Helps large teams work on different parts of an application efficiently
This trend is changing the way teams collaborate, especially in agile environments.
4. Progressive Web Applications (PWAs) Becoming the Norm
PWAs offer app-like experiences in browsers
Offline support, push notifications, and fast load times
Ideal for startups and enterprises alike
A full stack developer in 2025 must be proficient in building PWAs using modern tools like React, Angular, and Vue.js.
5. API-First Development
Focus on creating flexible, scalable backend systems
REST and GraphQL APIs powering multiple frontends (web, mobile, IoT)
Encourages modular architecture
Many courses teaching full stack development in Pune are already emphasizing this model to prepare students for real-world industry demands.
6. Focus on Security and Compliance
Developers now need to consider security during initial coding phases
Emphasis on secure coding practices, data privacy, and GDPR compliance
DevSecOps becoming a standard practice
7. DevOps and Automation
CI/CD pipelines becoming essential in full stack workflows
Containerization using Docker and Kubernetes is standard
Developers expected to collaborate closely with DevOps engineers
8. Real-Time Applications with WebSockets and Beyond
Messaging apps, live dashboards, and real-time collaboration tools are in demand
Tools like Socket.IO and WebRTC are becoming essential in the developer toolkit
Skills That Will Define the Future Full Stack Developer
To thrive in 2025, here are the skills you need to master:
Strong foundation in JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Backend frameworks like Node.js, Django, or Spring Boot
Proficiency in databases – both SQL and NoSQL
Familiarity with Java programming, especially if pursuing a Java programming course with placement
Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
Working knowledge of version control (Git), CI/CD, and Docker
Why Pune is the Ideal Place to Start Your Full Stack Journey
If you're serious about making a career in this domain, it's a smart move to learn full stack development in Pune. Here's why:
Pune is home to hundreds of tech companies and startups, offering abundant internship and placement opportunities
Numerous training institutes offer industry-aligned courses, often bundled with certifications and placement assistance
Exposure to real-world projects through bootcamps, hackathons, and meetups
Several programs in Pune combine full stack development training with a Java programming course with placement, ensuring you gain both frontend/backend expertise and a strong OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) base.
Final Thoughts
The field of full stack development is transforming, and 2025 is expected to bring more intelligent, scalable, and modular application ecosystems. Whether you’re planning to switch careers or enhance your current skill set, staying updated with the latest full stack development trends will be essential to succeed.
Pune’s tech ecosystem makes it an excellent place to start. Enroll in a trusted institute that offers you a hands-on experience and includes in-demand topics like Java, serverless computing, DevOps, and microservices.
To sum up:
2025 Full Stack Development Key Highlights:
AI integration and smart development tools
Serverless and micro-frontend architectures
Real-time and API-first applications
Greater focus on security and cloud-native environments
