The seeker glances up at the other mech, blinking a few moments trying to figure out if he was being serious. Once he decides that he is, Starscream becomes intrigued that this could be fun.

“It... certainly does,” Rung says mildly, taking in the swath of minor destruction that was once his office. He’s not as chiding as he would usually be-- really, Whirl, we’ve talked about this, do you want to get locked up again?-- because he’s a little too confused to be properly disapproving.

Whirl is locked up. He’s in the bring. Rung knows, because he’s just come back from visiting him there.

So who in the world is this?

“Whirl,” he begins carefully, arching one eyebrow at the copter. “Could I trouble you for an explanation?”

The more Rung looks at “Whirl,” the more that explanation feels necessary. This can’t just be some strange, unfunny prank; the other mech is... different. One claw looks less, well, claw-like, and the other seems to have been replaced entirely.

There’s no incriminating briefcase on Whirl’s person (at least not that Rung can notice) and the psychiatrist’s confused frown only deepens.

“Perhaps the two of us ought to sit down and talk?”
