Mal really just wanted to get on her motorcycle and sneak across the barrier back onto the Isle, she really did. But there was something in her that was making her want to tell a select number of people that she was leaving before she just took off. She couldn’t explain what it was, but Hyacinth happened to be one of those people. She let out a tiny sigh as she slowly made her way over to the other girl and sat down next to her. 

“So... I’m going back to the Isle.” She said simply, adding a small shrug, and then she looked over to see the other’s reaction.

               the thought that crosses audrey’s mind and she does little to stop it. in fact, she does nothing at all. already she is sacrificing her exterior comfort for this bunch —– why should she forfeit the solace provided by the privacy of her own mind? unfortunately, her inward irritation is a smite too strong ( it is monday, after all ), and she can feel the way her mouth forms into an unbecoming frown. chest expands with the force of a cleansing inhale through the nose, and, in the blink of an eye, audrey is smiling once more.

It had all been a lie; their chance at redemption a happily ever after. They had chosen good for a chance at a better life. In the end their story still ended in misery. It seemed as if the tears that ran down Evie’s face were unstoppable. Evie wasn’t going to ask Hyacinth to bring Mal back. It seemed too cruel and too selfish for her to ask. She had chosen good, and she couldn’t bring herself to do that now. Even if she had thought about it. “I know H, I know…” Evie wrapped her arms around Hyacinth and placed her head on the taller girl’s shoulder. “I don’t expect you to.” They betrayed their parents; they couldn’t exactly go and ask for favors now. “Thanks for coming. For a moment there…I really thought I was going to be alone.”

Joanna didn’t often visit Hades’ place, if solely because she usually ate things that she and her father killed. Pulling off her thick leather jacket she laid it on Zenon so she wouldn’t get cold. It was a perk being who she was that she naturally wouldn’t catch a chill unless in the snow. Watching a huge bolt crack across the sky. “THAT . That is my uncle up in the sky. he likes frightening people . not very nice and his son is kind of a jerk . “ she mused before turning to Zenon. “ but look at me. i would never let anything happen to you. just close your eyes and listen to the rain. count the number of seconds between each crack of thunder and soon enough the storm will be over.”
