Maybe it’s personal but I like imperfect victim characters more than perfect victims. I like when they’re flawed. I’m more annoyed when the creators think the victim has to be perfect for the audience to sympathize with them. If they lash out I’m not gonna hold it against them

#sid rants #this is mostly about carrie white and ashley graham #bc their og versions were imperfect victims whereas remakes made them perfect victims #og carrie killed everyone at that prom. remake carrie only killed the people who were meanies to her #og ashley yells and screams and gets angry. remake ashley is quiet and passive and helpful #like fuck off. you will never have your og version’s rough edges that make me love them
