for the life of me i cannot understand why unity’s parkour and stealth is so beloved
#my posts#gameblogging#liveblogging ac#not to be a purist but everything ive seen of the parkour past revelations i absolutely hate#and i can't exactly comment bc i havent actually /played/ those games yet#but it looks so jank#in unity especially there's so much animation and it looks like it'd just feel bad to play#like the run animation is always jank but here its even worse#and his legs and arms just go flying everywhere when he jumps i hate it#even the climbing looks less like climbing and more like just phasing up the building lmao#even the jump animation is just#i dont know how to explain i just hate it#as for the stealth i cannot say much bc i havent seen a lot of it#but in unity specifically i hate the hidden blade animation#half the time he just jabs his entire hand into the enemy and the enemy dies#the other half he fucking pokes the enemy and the enemy also dies#ok even in the ezio games i dont like the high profile hidden blade animations#but here its a lot worse#i just do not understand#i mean im happy people enjoy these games its not like everyone has to have my opinion#but why does everyone want unity's parkour and stealth brought back specifically#eh
