i was not super into rindo/shoka for like 99% of the game until “we can finally be friends” like wow. going from enemies > online friends where only one of them realizes who u are > reluctant (?) teammates and like just....... the layers of shit in their rship ended up selling me in the end. they had cute moemnts b4 that but this was the first time i went “oh theyve got a Dynamic” instead of “wow! cute heterosexuals i guess!”

side note i really did not expect her to be swallow bc i was CONVINCED it was rhyme but also it does make a lot of sense in retrospect LMFAO ill reread to see stuff after this

i do hae to say i really like her being his first Decision in game that was v good. they did have vibes!

i was v happy to see him was really not feeling his exp for why he did nothing beforehand. theorizing it was bc he couldnt make a move while kubo was there (angel) but we’ll see what the secret reports say

i liked rindo a lot im not sure if itwas intentional that he had a mask when his whole thing is (thinks a lot of v rude things but never says them aloud or makes decisions) but its good

the implication that rindo and fret were friends partially bc rindo kept everyone at arms length and fret didnt want a single deep rship after what happened is like. peak. i genuinely and deeply love that its so good its GOOD DYNAMIC

i’m kind of disappointed by the lack of content tho ngl. like i beat the game blind and i’m already at 57% completion when i think even on og twewy games where ive worked really hard ive only been like.... 30-40% max? 

plus the lack of tin pin/reaper creeper/reaper review kinda stuff is like. ok we have dives and reminding but idk? AM I INSANE i feel like og twewy had more content.

overall basically what i’m saying is i enjoyed it! but it definitely felt like a Sequel lol. not a bad thing necessarily but felt a little bit like they were banking on ppl being Invested In TWEWY to care if that makes sense. which, again, not to say i didnt enjoy it but

GENCON 2017

Alright, so here is a general recap of GENCON 2017, the largest Con Ive ever been to and the largest GENCON ever.  this will be a long post so I apologize in advance. So ya GENCON.

....IT WAS AWESOME.

Never before have I experienced Nerd culture at this magnitude. It was truly an overwhelming experience. Just look at this map!

Not only did the convention take place in all three stories of the convention center, it also enveloped three surrounding motels and the Colts stadium featured above.(At the opening ceremony, the announcer actually made a joke about how it was pretty damn awesome that the nerds had taken over the football stadium, and that he’d never heard of the football fans taking over hte convention center.I laughed, HARD)

I was able to go to Gencon, mainly because a buddy of mine basically went to it as a kind of business trip for his Youtube Channel.

He Reviews new and exciting boardgames .Awesome dude and an awesome channel to which I'm grateful he let me tag along for the trip. Heres a link to his channel if any of you all are interested! Link

But enough with me being a billboard for these guys, back to GenCon.

So the first day of the Con, as I sad I was very, VERY overwhelmed. I come from a fairly small city that's pretty well spaced out, so seeing that many people in one place was...JARRING to say the least.

I'll say this though, the entire time I was there, I didn't hear of a single event where someone got assaulted or anything bad like that happening. and there were about 166,000 people the first day of the con I believe, Speaks volumes for our hobby and the community.

Anyway, the first day within like ten minutes of entering the dealer's hall I managed to loose both Mitch(Kwarenteen) And Zack(Hive State) to which I remember just uttering “well shit” as soon as I realized I was alone. After that though, the week went smoothly.

The coolest thing that happened to me the first day was I ended up meeting Uncle Atom from  Tabletop minions, to which I made a complete fool of myself but its ok I got to meet someone whose videos have helped so much in my short wargaming life!

Super chill dude too, it was great meeting him!

Carrying on, Demo’d a game called Dropfleet, a low orbit fleet tactics tabletop game

 I picked up Dropfleet on the spot. Did I mention the MINIs ARE FREAKIN GORGEOUS.

  Cool thing about this game is it also can be played beside or in sussecion with another game called dropfleet commander, which is the ground side version of the game. 

Dropfleet and Dropzone gave me a very Halo vibe, so I'm diffidently looking forward to playing the crap out of the game.

The second day was equally crazy, Demo’ed more games, and saw even more awesome stuff. That day I also got to meet the creator of Kingdom Death Adom Poots. Awesome human being, and very VERY passionate about his game and the future of said game.

Also, as a Warhammer 40000 fan I found a booth that was selling bits by the BUCKETS. If id been left alone there Id have spent all of my funds for the con there. They even had I believe like first edition imperial guard minis and a really old looking Land Raider.

After the dealers hall closed on the second day we split up again, Mitch went to some after party thing he had to go to and Zack and I went and got some food and expored downtown Indy. Apparently, he came in second in a sexy nurse costume contest style thing. I envy this mans courage XD ( hes the one in the red dress)

Rest of the week was about the same. Came to the Con, Demo’d games, wished I had more money, and saw amazing Cosplayers.  Here are just the rest of the general pictures I took at the con. So ya that was GENCON for me. Had an absolute blast and I already can't wait to go back next year. Truly was an amazing experience.

hmmm i have just remembr d multiepl events aka 2

in tap (a thing after lunch caus lunch is half a period) we had to meditate and the teacher was like “i’ll put on calming music” but instead it stressed me out probably partly becuas i just wanted to write my fuckin story and the meditating thing was new and not expected (i didnt overhear what we were gonna do) and i tried to block out hte music and it worked ! but honestly i dont want to do that ever again. i hardly remember it but im sure i had some wackass thought partway through

ON LIKE TUESDAY.   i did something kind of petty but im proud of it so heck yeah. so im walking to gym because i have that at the end of the day and i see this guy who i really hate (i mean. this morning he said “s-j-w” instead of “social justice warrior” which really gives me bad vibes and last year he made a lot of “damn millennials” jokes like ok boomer i get it) 

SO IM WALKIGN TO GYM and on my way i see him walking towards me becaus its in between classes and i deadass move out of my way like way out of the way just so i dont even have to look at him anymore like i only vaguely remember it so i can’t say it in vivid detail (though i never say anything in vivid detail. authors shouldnt force readers to see the world in their view. im  not an author but im thinking words and typing them out)
