I’m staring to think that no amount of experience will enable me to write things under the word limit on the first try.
#needed to be under 5k#I hit 6k before getting frustrated and deciding to rewrite the beginning to be most succinct#rewrote the beginning#congratulations!!!#it is now better and longer#fic is now 8k#I must drop it 3k to publish ahhahahahhhhhaaaaa#okay so I’m just gonna have an official version for the anthology and an extended version I guess#ooofff I’m tired
