#convo#everything happens for a reason: and other lies i've loved#kate bowler#okay so taken out of context this is my brand of dark humour#but the context being the author grappling with her cancer diagnosis#and the very real possibility of death#i have to say i cannot relate as someone who has lived most of my adult life ready to die at any time#not that i'm asking for a cancer diagnosis because that's a whole different brand of dying#but it always surprises me that people forget about death#as if we do not begin the process of dying from the very moment we are born
