The Makaira 10000 by Okuma. Reviewed as the strongest spinning reel. Also available in 20000 and 30000 sizes. I filled the spool with 50lb Eminent Braid by Soft Steel. I plan on tying on a 40lb section of clear Fluoro-Stretch by Soft Steel for all around plugging on the original spool. Independent testers BD “Bloody Decks” tested the knot strength of the 40lb Fluoro-Stretch. It held at 57lbs.
