Got my first Vyshyvanka and I almost started crying cause the owner of the store gave me a small discount when I said I wasn't sure I would have enough in cash for the one I wanted. 😭

also sigh the battery in my car died. while i had no friends/family around who could come by and give me a jumpstart. And I was stuck in a fucking parking lot nowhere near somewhere to get jumper cables and I don't have any in my car. (probably gonna start carrying them tho. and I don't have roadside assistance on my insurance thru an oversight when i changed insurances but I'm gonna have it now lmao)

but I was going through my phone for likely candidates (I don't have many) and remembered I have a next door neighbor. thanks be to Hashem I called her and she not only picked up on the second ring and knew who the fuck I was since we don't actually talk (she does have contact with my parents though and they did actually tell her about me and she DID actually offer to have her number put in my phone for this exact reason but ANYWAY) BUT she had jumper cables! \o/

Dad still had to help me call a guy cause it turned out my battery is in fact dead as a doornail so even with a jump I need the damn thing replaced.

and my lovely neighbor, baruch hashem, has offered to take me to get the battery swapped out tomorrow, too cause i'll need a jump to get there. (i went straight home once I got started up again cause it was too late at night for a battery swap)

I feel all kinds of awful though. our first communication and it's this big whopping favor I had to ask of her lol coming out at night to jump start my car. and i can't help except pop the hood cause i'm chairbound

It has been storming since I woke up. My entire body is getting electric jolts at a low level.

This is not fair lmao there is nothing to make this sensation go away. It is a phantom sensation. What even could I take for 'electric shockies through my body'

my museum is doing some renovations so i have to work around construction and let me tell you with ADHD that is the worst distraction.

and for like 5 minutes the fucking lights went out. and the kiddos reacted as predictably as you'd imagine school kids react to a sudden no lights situation lmao of course i had my phone on me which has a flashlight setting but still that was not a fun time. i was completely thrown from my routine but i managed to get some of it done and get the kiddos on their way since of course their time at the museum doesn't get extended because the lights went out.

Turns out the beeping was the face plate on our water heater. It fell off. It was beeping cause it had fallen and couldn't get up. :|
