Honestly, the fact that each member of Rancid kinda had their own unique punkrock style was a big turn on for me. It was like each of these guys has their own perspective they’re bringing to the band and they’re all gonna try to make it work together. It set em apart. Oddly, they somehow got a new drummer whose style isn’t that far off from Brett Reed’s.

Ok ok ok, this song and video are like anatomically designed to bypass all my oldpunk jadedness and get me pumping my fist, and I’m not gonna think about fighting the urge. Why would I? It’s about staying punk, looking out for young punks, fighting and dancing. Fukkin ay.
One of my old bands played our first out-of-town show with an old band of Nathan Gray bc our guitar player knew him (and some of the other band members) when they were both coming up. I didn’t know him from shit. They were all nice. This band is musically better.
Also, a lot of good style in this video.
