one really aggravating things about taking minecraft screenshots is that what makes a beautiful compelling screenshot has only a small correlation with what feels good to move through, which you are always doing because it's a game in which you move around! but GIFs are more complicated in terms of a) it's not a one button press and b) requires a more complex understanding of shot composition and angles.

but what i come back to is that, i think really good landscape design/build-building (???? i mean like, city planning but for not-cities, something approaching urban design but from a personal POV?) is defined largely by the natural imposition of perfect viewing angles at any given point along the prescribed path which the environment urges you to take. this is why i love bdubs but it's also why i love Olmstead park design down to the minutiae. i think minecraft should be a cherokee park from which you cannot escape and don't wish to for a long time.

Having grown up in New York and having travelled through the Northeastern area back in the 1970s and early 1980s I am familiar with several examples of Olmsted's most famous works and his work and my experiences with and in them have always been part of most cherished memories that remain in me fondly forever.

It's beautiful with a lot of history (at least as far as America goes) and has gorgeous landscaping and gardens. They do a beautiful winter solstice light celebration. My husband works there in building maintenance.
