imagine if the Sons of Fëanor decide to try and fulfill the Oath another way...And, like, they become this band of ninja elves. They tell themselves that they can't completely fulfill the Oath if they can't get the Silmarili from Morgoth, and the elves of Sirion and Doriath could help. They need more power to defeat Morgoth. And Fëanor would've considered Morgoth's defeat more important than the Silmarili.
So they train in stealth and fighting and Maglor learns songs of hiding. Caranthir steals away funds to pay for the missions that the High King shouldn't know about. Celegorm scouts ways in and out of hidden cities, even if he can't get through Melian's Girdle, and hones his snipery skills. Curufin allies himself with the Dwarves to try and get inside Doriath. If that fails, he tries to sneak in with, like, Finrod or something. Finrod would love to be a ninja. Unfortunately, he is (canonically) horrible at being undercover. Fingon pretends he knows nothing of this.

Ooh we're doing crossover AUs now?! My best friend and I have been working on a Trolls × Warrior Cats × Ninjago au for a couple months now (though admittedly the Ninjago aspect is a "last two weeks" addition bc of my returning hyperfixation, I do think Branch and Zane would be VERY good friends but that's not the focus rn) and I have. So many Warrior names picked out. Though Bruce and Brandy do keep their names bc Brandy is a kittypet and Bruce leaves Clan life completely after the equivalent of the band breaking up...
Can you tell I'm more than a little insane about it /j
My knowledge of Warrior Cats is basically 0 but I recall they have nature names so Branch and Poppy already work, yeah?

"Warriors" by Samuel David: The Sci-Fi Debut Redefining Multiverse Adventures for Young Adults
Discover "Warriors" by Samuel David, releasing May 27th. This groundbreaking YA sci-fi novel follows fourteen-year-old Aaron Hunter through multiple dimensions in a cosmic war that will determine humanity's fate.

Announcing "Warriors" by Samuel David – Coming May 27th!
We are thrilled to announce the upcoming release of "Warriors," the extraordinary debut novel by Samuel David that will take readers on an unforgettable journey across dimensions, time, and the very essence of what makes us human.
A Cosmic Battle with Earth at Stake
When fourteen-year-old science prodigy Aaron Hunter finally meets his disgraced scientific hero, Eric Woods, he never expects to be violently thrust into an ancient cosmic war that Earth never knew existed. Now, wielding mysterious powers and fighting alongside unlikely allies, Aaron must confront an unknown and brutal being who holds the key to Earth's extinction.
But as the stakes rise, Aaron faces the most difficult truth of all: becoming the warrior humanity needs may cost him everything—including his humanity itself.
Critical Acclaim Already Building
Early reviewers are already hailing "Warriors" as a breakthrough in young adult science fiction:
"Warriors catapults readers through dimensions at breathtaking speed, merging cosmic conflict with genuine teenage angst in ways I haven't felt since discovering Ender's Game. Aaron Hunter's evolution from science nerd to humanity's reluctant defender feels monumental and authentic. What raises this above typical YA sci-fi is the impossible choice at its core—a protagonist who must determine if saving humanity is worth sacrificing himself." — Vanessa K. Williams

"In a world where hate, betrayal, and darkness are growing on the front lines, Warriors offers hope and a reason as love, companionship, and light begin to collide and coexist." — Hannah Wong
Perfect for Readers Who Love:
Multiverse adventures and dimensional travel
Coming-of-age stories with high stakes
Morally complex heroes facing impossible choices
Scientific concepts woven into thrilling narratives
Stories that balance action with emotional depth
Pre-Order Now Available
"Warriors" will hit shelves on May 27th, 2025. Pre-orders are now available through all major booksellers and our website. Special pre-order bonuses include exclusive digital art, character cards, and access to a live Q&A with Samuel David.

20 Questions For Fic Writers!
Tagged for this by the wonderful @royallykt. thank youuuu
How many works do you have on Ao3?
86
2. What's your total Ao3 word count?
140,521 okay honestly surprised but not surprised, I know I write a lot but hundreds of thousands of words.... wow
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Mostly I do star wars (clone wars), but recently I've gotten requests for The Rookie and I've dabbled in marvel and Ninjago. In a moment of weakness I also did one in harry potter and miraculous ladybug. Ooh, and I'm probably gonna start writing more with Keeper of the Lost Cities
4. What are your top five fics by kudos?
1. Datapad 2. Can We Keep Her Forever (and Ever Again) 3. Chocolate 4. The Death of Kix 5. Unafraid
5. Do you respond to comments?
You better believe it. On Wattpad, there are a few I haven't replied to because I would literally just put XD on every comment ever, but more often than not I will reply On ao3 I don't think I've ever left a comment alone because they're a lot more scarce and I don't feel dumb spamming their inbox with XD
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Unafraid or Kriffing Expendable
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Ummm this one is harder... Most of my fluffy fics... if we're going for angst with a happy ending I'd say I Fell Down the Stairs
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Not yet... I don't think I did get this one comment which was a very colorful rant about how much a potato hated tarkin? I didn't really understand it
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
No to both.
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
I have one crossover between star wars and star trek because I really wanted to put star wars characters in a star trek scene. Surprisingly, no one got mad. I also tried a star wars and marvel cross over, but when I told my friend about it and he sent back grimacing emojis, I threw it in the NOPE folder
11. Which fic are you proud of but wish had gotten a bigger response from your readers?
At the time I wrote it, Teamwork didn't get as much love as I thought it deserved. I loved the banter and I was expecting everyone to ask for a second part, but no one did. I wrote it anyway and I'm proud to say someone I know personally is now the biggest fan of it But I also have those little moments in a lot of fics where I write a line and I'm like "eeehehe, so good, gonna get so many comments!" and no one even notices
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
I know I had one reader who translates them herself, but not that I know of other than that
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Nope! I have brainstormed KOTLC fic ideas with a friend and we write hilarious poems about how much we hate a certain character for each other, but no official fic collabs.
14. What's your all-all time favorite ship?
Obitine. I just love them so much--- so sassy and adorable with their accents I just--- ah, there's no way to describe how much I love them. And the fact that Obi-Wan saves 'my dear' for only two people, one of which is Satine, and she also does the 'my dear' thing, ugh. they're just too perfect for each other.
15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
So, I started this super intricate Harry Potter Star Wars crossover, and spend days weaving together the perfect backstory for Ahsoka, obi-wan, and Anakin who were going to be put in the Harry Potter world. But then my friend called it increative and my sensitive soul was like "you know what, it's not worth it" and trashed it after going through the five stages of grief. I was also worried about it getting too messy and completely ruining cannon.
16. What are your writing strengths?
Crushing my readers' hearts and souls with a gut punching last line. If the time's right of course. I'll just be sitting there writing something that's not necessarily sad and then I'll be like "hold on, I could completely destroy everyone's happiness right now if I just write a few words." Do you know how powerful I feel at moments like that?
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Crushing my readers' hearts and souls with a gut punching last line. With great power comes great responsibility. Usually I don't let the intrusive soul shattering last line thoughts win, but a time or two I have (even making a comment in the author's note once) and someone left a comment saying they now wanted to dive off a cliff.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I like doing this by just a word or two (if you're putting in full lines I have to scroll to the bottom to translate I find that a little annoying at times) and I've only ever used the fantasy star wars languages.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Well.... if we're being technical it was for a book called "The Dreamer, the Schemer, and the Robe" before I even knew what fanfiction was, and I just wrote a continuation of a scene I thought needed more to it. I never finished though. If we're not being technical, it's star wars. I wrote a few psychotic half-scenes of it before publishing. my first full one is on Wattpad and ao3 and i've seriously considered burning it
20. Favorite fic you've written?
Aw, Dang it, I Chipped a Nail. Don't ask me why, but this one is my literal all time favorite.
npt @cc-cobalt-1043 @anxiety-banana and anyone else who wants to join :)

Hi! I was tagged by @rainofthetwilight for this tag game! Thank you for the tag Levi!!!
No pressure tags: @scarlets-doodles @tik-ket @nosleep83 @honestmouse20
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
3 works!
2. What's your total AO3 wordcount?
9257 words!
3. What fandoms do you write for?
I've only written for Ninjago as of right now, and so far only have plans for Ninjago fics.
4. What are your top five fics by kudos?
Only have three, but from top to bottom they are:
A Knocked Over Billboard (And An Alternate Version of Yourself?) at 30 Kudos
Pillow Mint Cake at 16 Kudos
and Crystals and Blood (Ninjago is Always on Some Shit) at 3 Kudos
5. Do you respond to comments?
Yup!
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angiest ending?
Definitely Crystals and Blood (Ninjago is Always on Some Shit).
7. What is the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Probably A Knocked Over Billboard (And An Alternate Version of Yourself?). Though this is a lot angstier than "Pillow Mint Cake", this one has a happy ending rather than a neutral ending that isn't angsty or happy, but just kind of there.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
As of yet, I have not.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Nope. No thank you.
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
No. I don't really have any intentions of doing so either. If I do a crossover thing it'd more likely just be a crossover shitpost of my AUs on tumblr as a drawing rather than on AO3 as a fic.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Nope, thankfully.
12. What's the longest time you've spent working on a fic? And what the shortest?
Ahem, time to pull up the document histories. The longest was Crystals and Blood (Ninjago is Always on Some Shit) at 1 month and 3 days, and the shortest was A Knocked Over Billboard (And An Alternate Version of Yourself?) at 4 days. (I was on the grind on that one. Though it was shorter than C&B plus only had one draft)
13. Have you ever co-written a fic?
Nope.
14. What's your all time favorite ship? From all the fandoms?
Lostshipping, Pixane, and Bumblebee shipping
15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Well I currently only have one WIP that I am working on. I do have ideas for a multitude of other fics that I plan to write at some point, but I do sometimes wonder if I'll get to all of them, especially the end fics of the Eclipse Born AU and all the Poking Stick AU fics.
16. What are your writing strengths?
Ooh that's a hard one. Maybe dialogue? I'm still pretty iffy with descriptions, whether of actions or visuals.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Definitely description and using the same word multiple times. The problem with words is that I don't want to use the same word too much (even if it doesn't bother the readers, it still bothers me), but overusing a thesaurus is dangerous in multiple ways, from obstructing the flow of your writing and using similar words that do not mean what you are trying to convey.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I haven't written any as of yet, but I'd probably want to make sure I know the language first before I try writing dialogue in another language, because accidental mistranslations can be rampant.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Ninjago.
20. Favorite fic you've ever written?
Oh, definitely Crystals and Blood (Ninjago is Always on Some Shit). This one taught me a bit about writing (especially editing/revising), was generally fun to write, plus it's the first fic in my Eclipse Born AU and has my main OC, both of which I am really attached to.

Ooh, this looks like a fun one!
1. How many works on AO3? 4
2. Total AO3 word count? 17,868
3. Top fics by kudos:
nine
Wonderstruck
New Year, New Reality
Spilling Champagne
4. What fandoms do you write for? Mostly LEGO Ninjago! I have a handful of unreleased fics that I've either put aside or am still working on, but the majority of my WIPs are about my favorite fruit-colored children. I have two published shorts for Persona 5 Royal, but I don't really plan on writing any more unless I come across a really good idea for another one.
5. Do you respond to comments? I try my best to at least thank everyone for commenting! But of course, I'm also always down to read/explain any of the symbols/references I sneak into my fics.
6. Fic with the angstiest ending: Definitely Spilling Champagne. It's the only fic I've written that has absolutely zero closure as far as the mainline story goes.
7. Fic with the happiest ending: Wonderstruck! I've always loved exploring the emotions of excitement and hope surrounding potential new relationships.
8. Do you get hate? Tbh, I don't think I'm a popular enough writer to garner that sort of negative attention.
9. Do you write smut? *horrified gasp* I could never! At the most, I'd write a very non-descriptive fade-to-black scene; but even then, I would need a very good character development sort of reason to even consider writing anything close to suggestive.
10. Do you write crossovers? I have started on once. In Junior High. It was rather bizarre, and I refuse to release any details.
11. Ever had a fic stolen? That's a thing?!? Thankfully, no.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated? Sadly, no. Sounds cool though! That'd be an honor!
13. Have you ever co-written a fic? I haven't! I'm not opposed to the idea, but knowing myself, I'm not sure how I'd feel about writing alongside someone else, unless it was a multiple POV story or something like that.
14. All-time favorite ship? This is actually a really difficult question for me to answer. I'm generally not a huge shipper? I really love Cole/Vania from Ninjago (the fandom perspective), but also Neil/Eva from the To the Moon series (canonically).
15. WIPs you want to finish but doubt you ever will? Wonderstruck was once 1/13 of a short story collection, but I doubt most of its companion chapters will ever see the light of day.
16. Writing strengths? I've been told I write really convincing childhood characters, especially via dialogue? I'd also like to think that I can handle symbolism fairly well in my stories. And I can churn out a little bit of poetry under very specific circumstances.
17. Writing weaknesses? I couldn't write a riveting action scene even if I tried, mostly because I get a little too bogged down by details. I also tend to bite off more than I can chew as far as multi-chaptered fics. Sometimes, I spend so much time in the planning stage, that I kind of burn out the idea before I get to the actual writing part.
18. Thoughts on mixed language dialogue? I wouldn't mind giving it a try once! I struggle with learning languages personally, so I think I'm mostly worried that I would do it incorrectly.
19. First fandom you wrote for? I think it was a four-chaptered fic about the Scarlet Witch that took place between Avengers: Age of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War. It's actually still sitting on my laptop somewhere. That's really a throwback though.
20. Favorite fic you've ever written? I think I will always believe that nine is the best thing I've ever written. It was such a wonderful challenge for me to get back into writing after several years of not doing so, especially with the imagery and emotions that I wanted to capture with each installment. I'm just really proud of it.
A longer one, @wingdingbat!
I have been tagged by @batrogers!!
1. How many works on AO3? 241
2. Total AO3 word count? 1.25mil. Almost to my 3rd AO3 anniversary :D (that's around 1,170 words every day for three years, not counting nonpublished words! Proud of that rate, even if it's slowing.)
3. Top 5 fics by kudos:
Status? about Four. I think this one hits the sweet spot for a lot of people: not too long, a bit angsty, but sweet.
so i admit that the mud didn't do much for me, about Hyrule. Actually the first fic I ever posted on this account, it's silly and I'm surprised to see it so high
incandescently happy, a post-LU happy ending. Posted little chapters every day for like a month which kept it in people's feeds so I think that's why it's so high
what is a stump supposed to do, a random Hyrule & Four one, honestly baffled why it's up here
Rise and Shine and Fall, my successful (by that I mean actually wrote and posted every day on schedule) Whumptober 2022 extravaganza compilation. I posted it all in one work, so it's higher than most other whump fics of mine, but there's a lot in it!
4. What fandoms do you write for? Zelda. In the past I wrote a tiny bit of Danny Phantom and a fair amount of FE3H!
5. Do you respond to comments? Always!! I admit to being SO VERY BEHIND right now, a couple months' worth. I'm trying to keep up on new ones, but I've had some beautiful wonderful readers going through my catalog and I can't always keep up!! XD
6. Fic with the angstiest ending: I don't write a lot of negative endings, so I think this badge goes to Counterbalance, my LU Darks AU. I'm actually fully in love with this fic, it's probably the best mix of silly and angsty I've ever written. It's full of what are essentially OCs but they're all my babies and I love them.
7. Fic with the happiest ending: incandescently happy, post-LU. The whole fic is essentially a fix-it ending, though LU doesn't have an ending yet. XD
8. Do you get hate? A couple silly comments trying to tell me I'm doing things wrong, but not really no! Oh, also can't forget the ask I got that was "Remember that Jesus is your first reader." I think that was meant to be passive aggressive but there's a chance it was meant like, genuinely? Not sure.
9. Do you write smut? Nah. And I don't plan to. Not my thing! Closest I get are vampire bites XD
10. Do you write crossovers? I swear I've done more but the only ones on my AO3 are a Vidow fic done in an original world (Nothing New Under the Sun (crystals, dumplings, jewelry)), and Blood-Sucker's Guide to High School, a Vidow retelling of a very fun vampire novel.
11. Ever had a fic stolen? Nope, but I did have one of my Vidow fake fic book covers stolen for someone's fake fiverr listing. Got it taken down with a DMCA but I was like, why
12. Have you ever had a fic translated? Not to my knowledge.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic? Oh plenty. @enrolio and I spent most of 2020-21 lockdowns and beyond cowriting, mostly original stories (1.7mil) but a lot of fic, too (nothing published, but almost 400k worth.) We're currently in the process of working on a big epic original fantasy series, though that's a long-term project. @batrogers and I have done a few alt-POV-type projects too, which have been super duper fun!! Hope to do more.
In that vein too, I feel like the Bad End Links kind of qualify here—so much of the characters and their stories were brainstormed collaboratively and so many friends have contributed details and fics and art, it feels like a fun group project! I've really enjoyed working on it. :D (the encouragement and hype for it also helps a lot!! I'm really hoping to finish this big project out!)
14. All-time favorite ship? Ahhhh a harder question than you'd think, tbh, even if you're limiting it to fic. I've written the most for Vidow, and they're definitely up there (same with Fourdow though I've done less with them.) I do have to admit that Linhardt/Byleth might take the cake, though. They were the first ship I was ever actually obsessed with, and the first romantic pairing I wrote in fic.
I just really adore Linny in general, and I love how the pairing continues and closes off some of the themes in the Crimson Flower route of FE3H. That's the only route where Byleth doesn't become archbishop-slash-dictator, and I think choosing to live life in a small cottage, not particularly contributing too much to the government, builds nicely upon the themes of becoming human and choosing your own destiny, themes that are really missing from the other routes.
15. WIPs you want to finish but doubt you ever will? My old AO3 account (a couple FE3H fics and not much else) has a series where I wrote the beginning of a fic and then had several different endings planned, each a different ship with Linhardt, but I only ever wrote one. I'd love to read the rest but I have too many other fics calling my name!
16. Writing strengths? Um... Volume and speed? Also AUs. I think I can call myself good at fitting characters into new settings. Also fight scenes are fun and I think I do them well.
17. Writing weaknesses? I feel somewhat weak in the plotting and style realms.
18. Thoughts on mixed language dialogue? You can't count on a reader to know not-tagged languages, so that has to be accounted for in the text.
19. First fandom you wrote for? Danny Phantom, in high school or maybe just after. That's late for a lot of fic writers but... there are reasons for that, and a different discussion!!
20. Favorite fic you've ever written? This is an extremely rude question, because I love so many for different reasons. I write things I want to read!! Counterbalance (for the tone) and Blood-Sucker's Guide (for the finished novel plot) are up there but I linked them above, so I'll take the chance to call out a different few—Marvelous Misadventures is way up there, a Wind-focused modern with magic AU. I promise I'm still working on that last chapter (and the epilogue), I just gotta throw everything else aside one month and buckle down. Maybe June, I don't have any fic events planned and 06/23 was the last update. I think some earlier chapters need a refresh as well, once I have the ending written.
I'll also toss White Walls (medwhump, "non consensual body modification: the fic") into this category for how long it is and how proud I am to have finished even a collection this long, and a long walk, a Linked Nexus fic where I did so much math and had so much fun with it. :D

Fanfiction Questions meme
6. List your OTP from each fandom you’ve been involved in.
Oh, geez... I’ve been involved in so many fandoms, LOL. I don’t really know if I can/should name them all. I’ll give you the ones (ONLY OTPs - doesn’t mean I don’t ship other things, too) I can think of off the top of my head.
Kiba/Hinata (Naruto), Fakir/Ahiru (Princess Tutu), Stiles/Derek (Teen Wolf), Kirito/Lisbeth (Sword Art Online), Harry/Hermione (Harry Potter), Goku/Bulma (Dragon Ball), Yusuke/Botan (Yu Yu Hakusho), Todoroki/Izuku (BNHA), (better!)Bakugo/Uraraka (BNHA), Toph/Aang (ATLA), and Adrien/Marinette (Miraculous Ladybug)!
7. List your NoTPs from each fandom you’ve been in.
(This isn’t meant to be hate on the ships I name! I just don’t ship them, that’s all! Ship and let ship! ;))
Naruto/Sasuke (Naruto), Kirito/Asuna (Sword Art Online), Ron/Hermione (Harry Potter), Harry/Ginny (Harry Potter), Goku/Chichi (Dragon Ball), Yusuke/Keiko (Yu Yu Hakusho), Bakugo/Izuku (BNHA), and Aang/Katara (ATLA).
19. Is there a ship (in your current fandom) which you wished you could get behind, but you just don’t feel them?
I’m not sure I have a ‘current fandom’ since I live for, like, everything at once, but maybe technically Naruto would be it?
In that case (again, no offense to anyone - and removing the ‘I wish I could get behind’ part ‘cause I do not), NaruSasu. I just...don’t get it? At all? Maybe it’s the ‘what could have been’s or whatever, but when you just take the series at face value, that relationship is...really icky, at least to me, and that’s putting it lightly. It’s so damn unhealthy, especially for poor Naruto. They were never even friends, Sasuke always treated him like shit, and yet...?! *throws hands at half+ of OG series and virtually all of Shippuden* IDK, man. Something’s weird there, and I don’t like it. Can’t support that. Naruto deserves better, damn it. (*casually links her Naruto AU fic where he DOES get better (in more ways than one), TYVM*)
20. Any ships (in your current fandom) which you surprised yourself by liking?
Going with Naruto again, so. Hmm... I guess maybe Kankuro/Tenten? I didn’t even know that was a ship until a friend showed me a really good fic, and I was hooked! lol.
Another might be KakaObi, but only in AUs where Obito survives the cave in and gets out with Kakashi and Rin and recovers, continuing to be the sweetheart he is instead of the ass he turned out to be in canon. Because he, too, deserved better, damn it!
Another is one I might have made up, not sure (mostly in the context of my Naruto AU, NGL), lol: Karin/Shikamaru! It makes sense and there are lots of compelling reasons when you break it down! You know, 'cause Shikamaru would need (or probs at least prefer) someone on his smarts level, and she's a genius, too, just in a different way. And once she mellows out, Karin's really cool, and (in my AU) she grows to eventually adore Naruto (actually fights to defend/protect him in the Pein arc!), and anyone who loves Naruto is good in Shikamaru's book! lol. Plus, she can tell him when he has his genius brain twisted in too many directions, tell him he's being an idiot and help him figure things out in her different way. lol. IDK, I like it!
30. What inspires you to write?
I just...love writing?? I’ve wanted to be an author since I was 8-9 years old, started writing when I was 11, and I’ve been writing ever since! I’m 27 now! I’ve had a few dry spells, ofc, but I always end up coming back! I just feel like writing is in my blood (partly because, I like to joke, my last name is the title of one of Shakespeare’s plays, haha)!
Pretty much anything can inspire me to write, though. I’ll see a pretty flower and be like “OOH, that flower could feature perfectly in this chapter in this way!” and then write 1k about that! lol. Or I could read a review of one of my new chapters and end up thinking of something I’d never considered before and then write almost 3k on that alone (looking at you, middle section of Ch 6 of my Naruto AU, lol)!
Basically, if it sparks joy, I’m gonna write something! X’D
31. What’s the nicest thing someone has ever said about your writing?
Nicest?? Hmm... I mean, I’ve had a lot of things said about my writing... Not sure I can really narrow it down? lol.
I guess the nicest things I’ve ever been told are when I make people cry (espec multiple times!) and actually feel the emotions the characters are feeling, that the characters and their development feel so real that it’s like they’re real people instead of fictional/they’re written so much better than the creator himself wrote them. (Been getting those a lot on my Naruto AU, actually. lol.)
32. Do you listen to music when you write or does music inspire you? If so, which band or genre of music does it for you?
I tend to prefer silence while I write, but sometimes, my house is loud and people keep breaking my concentration (house of 5, lots of animals, not the quietest, lol), I sometimes listen to music. I usually prefer instrumental, and then usually Naruto or Wolf’s Rain (sometimes Princess Tutu, too) instrumental tracks. The Naruto one I like best also has rain sounds mixed in, which is great because I love the sound of rain! Woo! (Here’s a link to that one if anyone else wants in on this! ;))
39. What is your greatest strength as a writer?
Emotions and getting into the nitty-gritty stuff therein. As an extremely visual, emotional writer, I’ve always been able to feel the emotions of the characters pretty much exactly how they’re feeling it in the moment and then put it on paper. I also make people cry a lot with my writing and get them to feel what the characters do, so that’s awesome! It’s always my goal to get my readers to feel things because then I feel like they’ve really connected with the story and characters I’ve written!
40. What do you struggle the most with in your writing?
Transitions are dicks. Sometimes I struggle ‘cause it’s been, like, two seconds or five hours, and I don’t know how to show that, lol. If I can, espec with the last one, I just fade to black. lol.
Also, sometimes I feel like I use the same sentence structure a lot, mostly the ‘..., but...’ format (at least lately). It’s really annoying, and I worry my readers notice and get annoyed/think I suck because of it. lol.
41. List and link to 5 fanfics you are currently reading:
“All the ways I say ‘I love you’” by Leonardo_Charles_BlueWood_21 (Fandom: Ninjago)
“Paradise Lost” by AnchoredTether (Fandom: Voltron Legendary Defender (Zootopia-esque dark AU))
“where my armor ends” by dalniente (Fandom: She-Ra Princesses of Power)
“of cats and curses” by faerialchemist (Fandom: She-Ra Princesses of Power x Fruits Basket crossover)
“Mischief is its Own Reward” by dalniente (Fandom: Megamind)
43. Is there anyone in your fandom who really inspires you?
I don’t really read Naruto fanfic too much anymore, so like...I guess, technically, another main fandom of mine right now is Fruits Basket, so: without a doubt, @kyosohmastan ! They’re my absolute favorite Fruits Basket fanfic author! Everyone’s so in character, the writing is so sweet and feelsy, steamy when it needs to be, and I really love the writing itself - it’s just so well done and beautiful and I die happily when they post a new fic or chapter? Ahhh! Plus, they’re just so nice and talented in so many ways, we have the same opinions on certain things (like Kakeru Manabe is Too Much(TM) for us, haha, no offense to those who like him! lol.), and I just really, really feel blessed to know and read their fics! Love them so! <3
44. What ship do you feel needs more attention?
I’m not sure which ship this is talking about? Hmm... But a ship I definitely think (have always thought) needs more attention is Kirito/Lisbeth from Sword Art Online! It’s so slept on, and that is a damn fucking shame because they’re so healthy and sweet and have so much more amazing potential than they’re given credit for (way freaking more than the actual canon couple, just sayin’, no offense to anyone who likes the pairing)! I have written a good few metas (and a fanfic) on the subject (some/most of which are on my Lisbeth RP blog, actually, lol)! If anyone wants to discuss/RP/anything involving this ship, please let me know! Would love it!
45. What is your all time favourite fanfic?
I’m not sure I have a favorite fic. But one that I always come back to (all of her (mostly G1) My Little Pony fics, actually - first found them when I was, like, 12, and have kept rereading over and over through the years, haha) is A Mother in Her Eyes by LoveLikeElena on FFN. It takes place in the author’s own MLP universe, but I love said universe so much, and her takes on the characters are amazing and so sweet! I love her look at the serious subjects that follow the characters through her ongong MLP series! <3
51. Rant or Gush about one thing you love or hate in the world of fanfiction! Go!
Fanfic readers have become really, really lazy. No one reviews anymore, maybe leave a kudos here and there if you’re lucky (I have a major love-hate (more hate) relationship with kudos...), and it’s so, so, so discouraging to us writers! I wish they knew how it felt, to be honest, espec the ones you know are reading, but just...don’t comment. It’s ridiculously disheartening to work so hard on something for days, weeks, even months or years on something, only to get basically nothing in return. It’s like posting into the void, and it sucks ass. It’s part of what made me quit writing for a good few years, actually, and I’m so sad to see that it’s still a thing. I comment on everything I read because I know how it feels and how much it hurt! It hurts like hell, especially because I remember how it used to be just 6-8 years ago when everyone commented! I desperately pray the fanfic/content consuming world fixes that really soon or we might lose some really amazing writers! Please, even an emoji or keyboard smash! I don’t care, I’ll take anything (and I know I’m not the only one)! <3

Hi !!
Just finished basic setups over here, so we’re open for business. This is kind of like a sister blog of sorts to our friends over at The Island Initiative ( @island-like-no-other ) but chances are there’s going to be a lot of crossover between the two spaces. They Are Canonically Friends, and all that.
This is an RP/Writing/Character blog based around UK Theme Parks (Thorpe Park, Legoland, Chessington and a local travelling fair) and you’re welcome to stick around and vibe :>
No estimates for what content’s going to be here, but there will be content Sometimes !! Feel free to drop questions in for them, they’re going to be Routed so the right people get them. Roster will be posted in a relative timeframe.
As a personal introduction, hi! I’m Beltrame, and I’m very new to the coaster scene (this year levels of new) because of Wonderful trips during the summer, and I’m just happy to be here.
As for Credentials(tm):
CC currently stands at 9, with 40 different rides total
Most visited park is Thorpe
Favourite coaster is a toss-up between Vampire (Chessington) and TWD (Thorpe)
Favourite themed area is Swarm Island and by a lot. It’s just full of vibes and lore, what’s not to love?
Helped solve the Hornet language
Not a coaster credential, but I am Incredibly into typefaces and spreadsheets. Just too much. I swear I’m not a 40 year old businessman, I’m a Queer Youngster(tm) who looked at sorting things out and went “ooh......”
As a followup to the previous point, graphic design is a fun activity. Counterpoint, I have the ability to make Authentic Wordart in current year. :>
