ODD SQUAD HEADCANONS AAAAHAHAHAHA.
Oona and Oscar are cousins
Every odd squad agent's main partner is their platonic soulmate and it's just kinda perfect through some supernatural means.
Todd and Olive were actually on solidly good terms when Todd got kicked out and the show only showed some of the worst parts to make a point.
Oona, Todd, Oscar, and Otis are autistic. Probably more but I really like these guys specifically.
Olympia, Otto, Olive, Oona, and Todd have ADHD. Again probably many more I just don't wanna list them all.
Otis is a huge fan of grammar and has posters of punctuation marks put up wherever he stays. His favorite is the Oxford comma. He *hates* the tilde because he claims it "looks at him funny."
Otis eats paper. He very adamantly claims "no. It's fine. I digest cellulose perfectly," and no one can figure out if he's actually right or not.
Otis eats cereal with water.
Olympia eats cereal with orange juice!!!! She says she likes the tang.
Both Todd and Otto put the milk before the cereal. Otto doesn't know why he does it, and Todd does it because it optimizes his cereal consumption experience [he is correct.]
Olive only eats dry cereal.
Ms. O/Big O/Oprah snores SUPER loudly.
Otto has superglued his fingers together more than once.
Todd's favorite music genre is classical but specifically the flavor with cannons n shit in the songs. Like "aw yeah I would fight someone to this" classical.
Oona follows Bob Ross tutorials.
Olympia had a phase where she put gems on anything and everything. She still has a pair of glasses from when she put gems on them.
Otis has a hard time with speech and will lose the ability to speak sometimes.
Oona has joint pain in her fingers and can semi-accurately predict whether or not it will precipitate based on said joint pain.
Oona has rats!!!!!!
Todd has always wanted to be a mouse or a really tiny rat. Just for a day. He wants to see what it would be like.
Oscar has re-designed the typing keyboard multiple times.
Oscar Really likes vanilla ice cream. He has a vanilla ice cream-inator that makes anything taste like vanilla ice cream.
Oscar REALLY likes textures.
Olive needs the room to be freezing in order to go to sleep.
Olympia's favorite show would be fraggle rock.
Oona is part squirrel. No one is sure how, none of her relatives are squirrels. It's just her who has squirrel DNA.
Oona has 2 moms.
Orla eats orange peels.

                               You bitches ready to feast?
Zoya and Oona emerge from the jungle victorious! The infamous wild boar was no match for Oona’s expertise and was theirs for the taking. The Eves now have a whole boar to feast on after many days without proper food.
Not only did Shane return with Erin and Joss but the trio also returned with 6 jars of pirate rum in tow! How long ago these were buried on the island? They can’t be sure, but from the look of the jars they’re definitely ancient. Would its contents be safe to drink? It’s anyone’s guess. The Eves seem willing to take the risk anyway considering the past couple of days they’ve had.
Tumblr media
Finally, it feels like things are turning around. The Eves are all together again. Real food is cooking away on the pit. Another card game washed up. Booze is at their disposal... A celebration was certainly in order.
Tumblr media
Thanks to Grace’s sweet find, the Eves have a fun game to play. The gameplay is simple: you do or you drink. Collect the cards with each dare you do. If you don’t do the dare, the card goes off to a pile on the side. Black cards are worth 1 point and Red cards are worth 2 points. Winner is whoever has the most points at the end of the game.
OTHER INFORMATION
The Eves are using coconut halves as cups to put the rum in.
When they have to take a shot, they do it from the screw-on caps of their water bottles.
In the center of the circle is Divya’s bucket hat (to put confessions in) and a random journal and pen to write said confessions. (Credit to Chuckles for the confessions dare 😘)
For a more fast-paced and real-time experience, we will be using Discord again! Under the IN-CHARACTER category, you’ll find a new channel entitled #day17-party where you can post in character.
To post in character, you’ll first have to register your character through Tupper. You can find a tutorial for that HERE and you can register your character and test out Tupper in the #bots channel under the IGNORE-THIS category.

A tribute from an artist to Game of Thrones
I have been a biggest fan of Game of thrones since 2014. Why since 2014, because that was the year of my breakup. February, 2014 was the last day I heard from my ex. I did fine the following month, and the month after that was when the reality started sinking in. Just like everyone else it was a very difficult phase for me. It was hard for me to come out of it and unleash my bitterness and that was when I was introduced to Game of Thrones. I watched all the episodes of all the seasons back to back. Why I got addicted to it, well I would like attribute a 30% of it to the intention of serials. Any serial be it, it sucks you inside and plays with your mind. Game of Thrones is more of a historical style cum mythological serial where we were introduced to a different set of morals and an entirely new tradition of law. Well, who wouldn’t be addicted to such a series.
Just like everyone else, the unexpected deaths of all the glorious characters always bothered me. Red wedding was one of those where the pregnant queen, Talisa (beautifully played by Oona Chaplin, the granddaughter of Charlie Chaplin) the wife of Rob stark, was brutally murdered. When she was stabbed on her stomach with a knife and when the blood came pouring out, my heart was bleeding too. I have been a weeper since my childhood and any kind of violence would crush me. This has been a series with extreme violence since the start. That was an episode which suffocated me profusely.
I have had a flair for portrait drawing since childhood. I have done more than 2000 pencil portraits just for the sake of practice. After about 12 years of pencil portrait drawing practice I have come up with an easy technique to draw face from photo and from real life, which you will find in my course – Realistic face drawing
After all the years of being a hardcore fan of GOT, I thought let me try my luck with GOT. Last year in the month of October,2017 I decided to paint all the characters of Game of Thrones. It started as a fun thing and it turned out to be a project beyond the limits of my physical capacity. I wanted to paint all the characters, video record the process of painting and share the spirit of GOT with all our GOT family members. Of course, I wanted to become famous too. I am an artist and every creative person craves for attention, I am no different. I wanted to couple my talent along with the sentiment of GOT and gain recognition among our GOT family. Trust me it started as a painting project, a practice exercise for me and by the end of 40th work I realized a tremendous difference in my work when compared to my works before the project. This exercise boosted my level of confidence immensely and I do not know how but since then I have never had complaints from my customers. I mean to say all the commissioned single and family portraits came out really well after the project. During the exercise of GOT, I learnt how to capture the features of my characters (without losing the shape of the character) along with the mood that they were in and the expressions that they were known for.
After the project, I was able to see a significant increase in my followers count on the social networking sites. I received a few requests on classes. Since after the project I was confident about face drawing, I wanted to create video tutorial on whatever I have learnt from the 50-character-portrait exercise. It took me about 4 months, January till April, 2018 to create the video tutorial. I had to shoot the process of portrait painting myself, edit the video, frame the syllabus, record a few demos, describe the process of painting in the demos and add subtitles. Since I knew video editing myself, it was all pretty easy for me to couple my domain knowledge with the process of making video. Now the video tutorial is available on this link. If you like my style of portrait painting, please follow the link to the video tutorial where you will find the topics that I have covered. If you think that the topics could help you become a better artist, go for it.
This is my tribute to the die-hard fans of GOT worldwide. I am displaying few of my works for your perusal.

Ned Stark
Tumblr media
A very loyal, true and trusting hand of the king. We know how the world values loyalty! We know the price we may have to incur for being smart.
Samuel Tully
Tumblr media
The director of Game of Thrones always challenges us by manipulating us into liking the characters that don’t fit the physical attributes of a hero, indirectly hitting us hard with the fact that physical attributes have nothing to do with being a hero.
Olenna Martell
Tumblr media
The beauty of Game of Thrones is how all the trivial characters play such important roles and attribute to such interesting turn of events. You all know what I am talking about. We may be very speculative about this character, we may not know what really happened at the purple wedding. Our suspicion may have no grounds but we all have the same doubt isn’t it ?
Oberyn Martell
Tumblr media
He volunteered himself to fight on behalf of our favorite fellow Tyrion Lannister. After Oberyn Martell was crushed to death by the Hound, my brother said something that hit me very hard. He said that the actions of a person is more important the intention of a person. Oberyn paid a huge price for being a little careless around in the field. He may have had high moral values and pure intentions but his wrong actions paved way to his death.

A Babysitter’s Guide to Monster Hunting Review: A So-So Supernatural Babysitters Club
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J
It’s Halloween night, and the thing that most terrifies teenage misfit Kelly Ferguson (Tamara Smart) is making it through the popular kids’ party without being called “Monster Girl.” After the ill-advised choice to tell her peers about a traumatic incident of almost getting snatched by a monster as a child, the unfortunate nickname has stuck and tanked all hope of ever joining the in-crowd. It’s useful, then, that her mother (Crystal Balint) promised Kelly’s babysitting services to her ice queen boss Ms. Zellman (Tamsen McDonough) and her problem child Jacob (Ian Ho). But when that adorable child gets snatched by the same otherworldly creature that once haunted Kelly, the hapless caretaker is thrown into a secret underworld and gets her first lesson in A Babysitter’s Guide to Monster Hunting.
Netflix’s kids’ movie is a clear attempt to kick-start a franchise. Based on the book trilogy by Joe Ballarani, which blends the hijinks of Adventures in Babysitting with the thrills of Are You Afraid of the Dark?, the inaugural installment also feels like it pays equal homage to Labyrinth and Hocus Pocus. Unfortunately when left to its own merits, the movie doesn’t rise to the level of any of these classics.
It shows promise in depicting a world where babysitters’ responsibilities extend beyond enforcing bedtime. For here it also means ensuring that boogeymen like the Grand Guignol (Tom Felton) don’t conjure creatures out of children’s nightmares to wreak havoc on the waking world. Yet for a Halloween movie, A Babysitter’s Guide doesn’t take enough advantage of the holiday’s invitation for mischief and mayhem, let alone costumes and alter egos. Shadow monsters aside, this could have taken place any old night.
In adapting his own books (the first of which was published in 2017), Ballarini wisely revisits the diversity of the main cast. Originally a white girl, Kelly is now Black (allowing Smart to utilize her skills much better than last year’s Are You Afraid of the Dark? reboot did). In fact, the order of babysitters reflects a wide range of backgrounds and mostly skews female. One can’t help but wonder if that is a nod to horror’s tendency to dismiss or outright ignore the fears and warnings of girls and women. This is a kids’ level of scary movie, but the order of the babysitters deals in the same thematic issues of not being believed—here in regards to a monster under the bed.
Among the grizzled adolescent veterans of the babysitter/monster wars is Liz LeRue (Oona Laurence), a post-apocalyptic-looking warrior with a baby strapped to her back, and a chip on her shoulder in the form of her missing brother. Liz and Kelly’s interactions are paint-by-numbers “old pro teaches newbie the ropes,” and it lacks any surprise.
But the most curious bit of casting involves Harry Potter alum Felton as the Grand Guignol. Lurking in closets and crooning ominous lullabies, he briefly conjures Labyrinth’s Jareth the Goblin King, who has a penchant for kidnapping. Yet Felton simultaneously lacks David Bowie’s strangely pristine magnetism. By contrast, the Grand Guignol is wreathed in so much dirt and makeup that it’s difficult to recognize the actor underneath. So it’s not as if Felton is doing it for a recognizable career shift, like Henry Melling’s recent villainous turn in Netflix’s The Old Guard, nor is it a scene-stealing oddball performance on par with Daniel Radcliffe’s post-Potter roles. He’s just… there.
The sets (both the babysitters’ HQ and the Grand Guignol’s lair) resemble old-school Nickelodeon game shows, tending toward loudly cartoonish instead of subtly scary. This has the effect of making every scene that takes place in them, from the movie’s riff on a James Bond gizmo tutorial with Q (here, a teddy bear smoke grenade) to the nightmarish final showdown, have the feel of a racing-clock obstacle course. You half expect Olmec from Legends of the Hidden Temple to speak up, or for someone to get slimed at a crucial moment.
So it’s too bad that the special effects lean more toward CGI than practical; the Grand Guignol’s cadre of “toadies” (toad-like cronies), for example, would have been far more effective as puppets, instead just mere digital distractions. However, one of the movie’s best motifs is Kelly’s A Beautiful Mind-esque cognitive problem-solving. Whether it’s a geometry problem or mentally riffling through the pages of the babysitters’ grimoire, she pulls out diagrams and drawings with an almost superhuman speed, culminating in some quick thinking and mythical moves. Rather than feeling like a random everygirl who stumbled into this world, Kelly is clearly finding her place, and bringing something new to the order.
There’s a huge divide between learning about the order’s existence and actually being invited to join the ranks. The former is as straightforward as losing one’s charge—which, as we’ve learned from babysitter stories, happens more often than you’d think—but the latter is a much more exacting trial. Each of these teenage monster hunters bears a battle scar from their own childhood run-ins with a night terror; their survival, they believe, compels them to save little kids from the same traumatic memories.
Yet the greatest trauma, as Kelly and her peers know, is of not being taken seriously when you discover these lurking dangers—and then being ostracized for that cursed knowledge, until finding the people who will finally believe you. The babysitters’ calling is a coming-of-age story which proves that, even though parents think any teenager can do the job, few can do the job right.
cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "106e33c0-3911-473c-b599-b1426db57530", }).render("0270c398a82f44f49c23c16122516796"); });
A Babysitter’s Guide to Monster Hunting is now available on Netflix.

I've been experimenting for a long time to make a simple reliable way to do digital lettering. I love hand lettering , but digital lettering's just a great tool overall. Weirdly , I've carried a bizarre mental block against using Photoshop for this because I'd heard most letterers work in Illustrator , which I've never gotten the hang of. I followed a tutorial by artist Barry T. Smith on YouTube of his Photoshop lettering process. I got instant fantastic results using his very simple & fast technique. I practiced on an old page of unlettered Oona art (she never said this bit of nonsense) using one of those free Blambot fonts & I think this is it from now on! #comicbookartist #comiclettering #comicartistsunite #comicartist #artistsoninstagram #artistsonpatreon #radiocomix https://www.instagram.com/p/B8Y4FceBlPo/?igshid=hmuiq21z2gic

((please do all of the cosplayer questions i'm so curious))
Phew, that is a lot! ^^” But thank you for the interest, you are a doll.
1: What was your first cosplay?
Irene Adler from Sherlock: A Scandal in Belgravia (badly done tbh).
2: Favorite thing to cosplay?
Harley Quinn and Star Wars villains/antiheroes. Complex characters in general, especially ones that require some acting.
3: Have you ever been in a panel at a convention?
I wish!
4: How many people do you think you met because of cosplaying?
Pretty much everyone I know and, like, all of my friends except one or two.
5: What do you think makes a ‘good cosplay’?
Passion for the character and the costume. Attention to detail. Spending time on it because that is how you really get into it. Not being an asshole to people around you, especially less experienced or poor cosplayers.
6: Have a cosplay blog?
Your standing in it, ha.
7: Ever done a group cosplay?
Yes! You can find them in my *group cosplay tag.
8: Couple’s cosplay?
With @agent-without-ok-days. 💖 Most things in my *ship cosplay tag.
9: When did you start cosplaying?
2011. But dressing up has always been one of my favourite things to do.
10: Would you consider yourself good at cosplaying?
I have grown a lot as a cosplayer & costume maker and at this point, I would say: yes, I’m good at it.
11: Which cosplay took you the longest time to make?
The Winter Soldier.
12: Shortest time to make?
The first 24-hour-version of Endor!Leia that I am currently remaking.
13: Do you like Genderbent/AU cosplays?
Depends. I like genderfluid cosplays, where it’s like … basically you just don’t bind and maybe change a few things, but you don’t make it sexy to make it feminine or change from pants to a skirt or put boobplates on things. I think cosplay always also should be about feeling comfortable and if you don’t like to “crossdress” then you shouldn’t have to. There are also more overtly genderbent cosplays that are fine because they show creativity and the ability to adapt things and reinterpret them. I don’t like the term genderbent because it’s pretty cissexist, and I genuinely do like to think of gendebents as basically trans headcanons? So within that realm I like them, I just don’t like the often transphobic and misogynist connotations that a lot of genderbent versions carry. So it really depends on the cosplayer and I personally do them rarely.
With alternate universes it also depends. On the one hand, it gives you a lot of freedom to make up your own stuff. On the other, you usually have to work harder to make sure your costume is still recognizable as the character you’re portraying. The general rule of thumb is that if I like the AU, I probably also like the AU cosplay. I mostly enjoy to make them though with characters that are very recognizable due to certain tropes & symbols, and characters that already exist in many versions in canon.
14: List all of your cosplays.
That is a pretty long list. I’m gonna put a link if you really wanna read it.
15: Are you currently working on something?
I finished Harley (except that I still come up with stupid trinkets to add), so now I am only working on Leia! After that I will start on Revan, I hope.
16: Would you, if given the chance, cosplay at school/work?
Eeeeeeh, tough question. I don’t think so, since I like to keep my work and private life seperate and cosplay is pretty private to me. My colleagues know about it and I’ve shown them a few pictures, but arriving at work in full cosplay is a whole different deal.
17: Do any of your IRL friends cosplay?
Most of them either do or did.
18: What does your family think of it?
I hope that at this point they are quite positive about it. My mum seems to understand it is basically the equivalent of me dressing up as a kid and that it’s harmless and fun and a good outlet for me. I know my brother once accused me of losing my grip on reality, but I explained it to him and I suppose he understands now? In general it’s one of those things they just take as me being a weird person with weird hobbies and that’s okay because it’s true tbh.
19: Do you consider cosplay an art?
Definitely!!
20: Have you ever had to get help with a cosplay?
I use all kinds of tutorials and often ask my cosplayer friends for advice. They have also helped me before with cutting my wigs, doing my make-up and other stuff I’m not so great at. I have received a lot of help especially from @agent-without-ok-days and @mimicrysquid, who are both incredibly talented and sweet.
21: Least favorite thing to cosplay?
I don’t understand this question. If I don’t like it, I don’t cosplay it.
22: Ever been in a cosplay contest?
I’m too self-conscious and I often lack the time to enter, but I really would like to.
23: First con that you cosplayed at?
Sherlocon 2011.
24: What’s your definition of ‘cosplay’?
Asdjhjsdfghfjdf, god, wow, that is? Really hard?? Uuuuuhhhh … if I have to explain it to others, I usually say something like “It’s where you dress up as characters from media and then take pictures together and maybe act out small scenes and basically just have a good time together”. As for what it means for me personally, I think it is the perfect combination of crafts and performance art; it’s a great creative outlet and a way to meet like-minded people, and what I like about it most that others interact directly with your art. You’re not on a stage or uploading music to the internet or putting a picture in a museum. You get to carry something special into a mundane, everyday setting and people get to experience it first-hand and it just makes normal events a bit more extraordinary.
25: Favorite tumblr cosplay ask blog?
I like @cosplay-refs quite a lot.
26: Ever cosplay an inanimate object?
I don’t think I have, but I would if the option presented itself and I had a good idea.
27: Who is your cosplay headcanon of your favorite character?
That would have to mean I have a singular favourite character and a singular headcanon about them, which I don’t.
28: What is your ‘Cosplay First Aid Kit’ (what you use to repair a cosplay)?
A small sewing kit (thread, needles, scissors), different types of glue and tape, samples of the paint I used for the costume, replacement buttons/sequins/whatever is stuck on there, stain remover. I usually forget something important though.
29: Would you go pro?
I don’t think that is a reasonable option with my bad health (and lack of fame).
30: Who is your favorite professional cosplayer?
I’m not sure if any of the cosplayers I like are “professional”, and I am not a big fan of most of the really huge names in the community (you know, like the ones on that cosplay TV show). But here’s some more or less influential faves that I follow on Facebook:
Jay Justice
Karin Olava
Katie Starr
Wheels of Steel
Joker’s Harley/Harley’s Joker
Don’ttouchmymilk
Cissy Cosplay
Howling Commandos Cosplay
Lady Haha
UndiesOfWondy
Misa on Wheels

Wonder Woman 4 Hire
Khaleesi Cosplay
Oona Sura
Rian Synnth

One Woman: Oona Tempest
Following our tutorial it was suggested we look at Oona Tempest and her progress in becoming a sushi chef. It was a really enjoyable video as it showed how she really pushed to achieve her dream, and the casual style it was presented really worked in making you feel comfortable and like it was a conversation over a video. It doesn’t feel like one of those ‘on your period you can do anything!’ adverts, its more like showing in a personal way that your period doesn’t define you and that the stigma and rumours about periods are all false to demonise it and make it seem like something to be ashamed of and feel lesser about.
It was really inspiring to see how Oona really pushed to achieve her goal and break these stigmas in a likely very male dominated market, due to these stigmas.
