ok hi !! i just finished s2 & addyjanae are driving me insane so im gonna list all the addyjaane easter eggs i can remember rn

1. in the yacht scene at the end janae runs to ADDY first & not maeve

its ok because maeve was taken care of by cooper but its very very interesting how her instinct was to run to addy. ofc it can also be explained by the fact that they thought that maeve had betrayed addy-- but still. insane detail

2. "are u jealous of me & addy?"

self-explanatory. they could have had maeve just make a general statement about how she seems to trust the rest of the group over her but nope they had her namecheck addy

3. the look addy gives janae the morning after the "are u jealous of me & addy" scene

literally go back & watch it. ill add a picture here when i get around to it. but theres a literally focus on the look addy gives janae-- and shes smiling to herself. dare i say blushing even?

4. the fact that addy & janae are always together

literally. they are literally always together. they sit together. in group scenes they somehow are always next to each other. they are obviously insanely close

5. the scene in the hospital hallway btwn janae addy & maeve

so they had bronwyn talk about how she betrayed all of them in general but had janae lean into how she nearly got addy (specifically) killed. and u expect me to not go to tumblr & go batshit crazy theorising ab their endgame. ok

im prolly gonna rewatch all their scenes together & ill add to this when i do but i just needed to get this out there. addyjanae endgame real !!!

guys i’m so sad rn, i read that they have cancelled “one of us is lying” and i can’t believe it. i was waiting for the final season, to close the circle and put all the pieces together; why did they cancelled it? i mean it was popular, i know a lot of people who were watching it, we were and still are curious about what was goin on with that, and they decided to shut it down for some reason we will never know.

i think i’m gonna reed the books, just to understand better the plot and have some answers. i’m very disappointed with this decision, i was really confident with a third season… :(

I just completed it, so I haven’t seen any other reviews for One Of Us Is Lying season two yet so I don’t know if this is controversial or not, but I enjoyed s2 more than s1. Mostly bc for as much as S1 was up my alley, I looked at it as a poor adaptation of the book, and I looked at S2 as a Pretty Little Liars reboot.

And a good one.

Like, it wants to be a pll reboot more than the actual pll reboot. And I enjoyed Original Sin, it was just missing a lot of the elements that made the OG what it was.

But like, halfway through the series I realized how badly it wanted to be pll, and honestly… I think it made me enjoy the series much more.

The show wants the characters to call the big bad ‘A’ so bad. ‘_ is totally Simon Says!’ ‘We’re not Simon Says!’ ‘We gotta find Simon Says’. And they kept calling it a ‘game’, and the villain spoke about how much they liked to ‘play with my toys’. And- And- And you know what? More power to them.

And Jake’s lines in that flashback in the finale. ‘Can you keep a secret?’ ‘You gotta take this one to the grave’. I realize that those aren’t unique phrases, but… c’mon…

And you wanna know the best part? This A/S.S. reveal was good. It was better than the Drakes. It was better than the Principal. It was a character with enough plot relevance. When it was revealed, there were things both the character and Simon Says did that clicked. The motivations weren’t contradictory. The main characters were the ones to put it all together. And enough build up to …other twists as well.

Look. As a writer, I hate that they betrayed the source material to do this. But as a Pretty Little Liars fan… I’ve found satisfaction.

ok little rant about season two of one of us is lying and about the hook for season three under the cut, spoilers ahead!

i kinda wish they had hinted more about fiona at the beginning, we knew very little about her, we didn't even get how long was maeve working with her.

also it's kinda obvious at this point that jake's brother is involved and ordered to kill her in prision, so the whole thing with season three will potentially be about murder club still being threatened over jake's murder or maybe framed over someone else's? and all leading up to jake's secret, his brother's connection with it, and what could lead to whatever happened at the graduation party.

my theory for whoever got attacked in grad party is that it would be too obvious to be bronwyn.

i feel like if they do go with the necklace thing (it could be torn during a fight or a red herring), it should be a bit like agents of shield's season three midseason up till the end of the season (iykyk). the only hint about who could've died was a necklace. the same necklace kept switching owners throughout the last few episodes, some of the characters didn't even know the necklace was with them, but the audience knew and knew that if by the end of the final episode they had it, they would be the ones dying. it was a guessing game that kept everyone watching.

so i really hope they do it like that, switching owners between the whole murder club and the people around them.

hello everyone, i just finished the second season of “one of us is lying” and i have to say that i remembered watching this series but i couldn’t remember what was this talking about until the third episode. it’s like i removed everything about what happened during the first season lol. but now that i finished it here i am reviewing it:

-possible spoilers of one of us is lying:

as i said, at first i didn’t remembered anything about this series, who was killed, what happened at the end, etc. so i just kept going on watching it, and as i read again flatten on my precedent review, i liked it a lot. some things were a little relatable, but so far it’s better than some things i watched, so it’s good. there were a lot of plot twist during this season, they were able to keep my mind focused the whole time, and i had to going on because i wanted to know what was going on; the new characters were good, i think that everybody until Giselle was killed thought that she was ‘Simon Says’, and when she was found on the ground with her head smashed bc she fell down the roof, it was a real plot twist. but then also the last two episodes were very great, the group chatting and working together putting all the pieces together to catch and find who the killer was, absolutely amazing. i don’t know what will happen in a possible third season, but i really hope that they’re not going to ruin everything, because it’s easy to put elements that have nothing to do with it.
