One of my favorite things about One of Us is Lying s2 is how the other members of Murder Club take turns third wheeling Addy and Janae. Bronwyn in Addy’s room after she talks to Giselle. Cooper at the gay warehouse party. Nate in the hallway at the hospital. It’s so funny and so obvious and so beautiful every time.

ok hi !! i just finished s2 & addyjanae are driving me insane so im gonna list all the addyjaane easter eggs i can remember rn

1. in the yacht scene at the end janae runs to ADDY first & not maeve

its ok because maeve was taken care of by cooper but its very very interesting how her instinct was to run to addy. ofc it can also be explained by the fact that they thought that maeve had betrayed addy-- but still. insane detail

2. "are u jealous of me & addy?"

self-explanatory. they could have had maeve just make a general statement about how she seems to trust the rest of the group over her but nope they had her namecheck addy

3. the look addy gives janae the morning after the "are u jealous of me & addy" scene

literally go back & watch it. ill add a picture here when i get around to it. but theres a literally focus on the look addy gives janae-- and shes smiling to herself. dare i say blushing even?

4. the fact that addy & janae are always together

literally. they are literally always together. they sit together. in group scenes they somehow are always next to each other. they are obviously insanely close

5. the scene in the hospital hallway btwn janae addy & maeve

so they had bronwyn talk about how she betrayed all of them in general but had janae lean into how she nearly got addy (specifically) killed. and u expect me to not go to tumblr & go batshit crazy theorising ab their endgame. ok

im prolly gonna rewatch all their scenes together & ill add to this when i do but i just needed to get this out there. addyjanae endgame real !!!

Just finished watching OOUIL s2, and it definitely outsold the first. Humanizing Vanessa, giving separate plots to all the main characters, and ofc, the ships, my favorite being Addy & Janae. Pretty sure Janae is no longer with Maeve after that finale so I really hope the writers are building up AddyJanae; they have too much chemistry for them to waste 🙏🏽💓

Also if anyone knows how to make gifs (or is willing to help me learn), can you please post some of them? 🥺

I love Natewyn, I love Krisper and omg, Addy and Janae I know there is something there Like, I get why is important to Addy to take a time from romance, but a healthy, mutual support relationship is always welcome, even if takes time/

after finishing season two i went straight to tiktok to see if anyone else shipped janae and addy. Most people didn’t. There were a few edits but most of them had comments like “maeve is better” (okay is it just me who doesn’t really like maeve like her whole character is just getting annoyed and then betraying them) and “addy is straight” and so on. I found some more comments that are just so passive aggressive and i personally have never seen any romantic tension between janae and maeve and their relationship at times didn’t seem too healthy…

But anyways what i was trying to say is i’m glad that on here i finally have somewhere to talk about these two because THERE IS DEFINITELY SOMETHING BETWEEN THEM
