Seeing posts about forbidding Evil characters at the dnd table again.

MAYBE I WANT A REDEMPTION ARC, GUYS! MAYBE THIS BASTARD JUST NEEDS SOMEONE TO SHOW THEM SOME LOVE & UNDERSTANDING FOR THEM TO DECIDE THEY DON’T NEED TO DESTROY ALL LIFE AS WE KNOW IT!

#This is about Maria (who is CE). Literally the only people she knew growing up were her abusive ‘father’ & his terrible friends/clients.#She sees no value in mortal lives because she’s never known kindness. Her plan to end the world comes from feeling out of place in it.#She can be incredibly cruel & petty…but deep down she wants to be loved. She wants to find a home. True friends could give that to her.#Not to be confused with Calla (LE) who wants everyone to love her so much she manipulates & brainwashes them to force it #or Moreen (NE) who doesn’t give a shit but needs to maintain her reputation in order to get paid in order to fund her ‘hobbies.’#Neither of them are getting redemption arcs. Though I do hold still that either of themcould travel with a heroic party.#Calla actually works best with a heroic party! Her 2faced manipulations are 1/2 the fun of her & she doesn’t need to mask if everyone’s Evil #Moreen… just don’t cast Detect Alignment or stiff her payment or seriously pry into what she does with her off-hours. No one will know.#The key to playing an Evil character is to make them NON-DISRUPTIVE.#//#dnd #tabletop roleplaying day!!!!!#my life #mine
