It's been a while since I posted this but I realized I never said anything about my actual design lore?? Even though this is the ONE PLACE I SHOULD PUT THAT?? Anyways CHRIST ALMIGHTY. Shadow actually lost his right eye in his 100 days multiverse series, when he was captured by the evil scientist, If you've watched shadows hdmv series you know the whole spiel about the scientist.

Mega spoilers for shadows 100 days series ahead, if you haven't watched that and want to first, I'll link the video at the end of this post.

(I actually just had to go back through a bunch of shadows videos to find the specific zombie 100days the scientist is in-) In the 100 Days zombie prison break video, when he dies on day 94, it starts a little story scene thing I dont fucking know what to call it, of a scientist waking him up in a strange place, and his skin now has an eyepatch over his right eye. He's confused over his location, and the scientist remarks on how hes "hard to get ahold of". It's revealed the scientist has been the one luring shadow around and bringing him from place to place, trying to catch him off guard. Stuff happens, WOW OH MY GOD HES GOING TO MIND CONTROL SHADOW INTO LEADING A ZOMBIE TO FIGHT BACK AGAINST THE EVOLVING PARASITES?!?! WOAHHH!!!, (I actually love shadow so much. The way he did this lore was so great, and the voice acting by him for the scientist is just- top tier 😭 I love it so much he's so silly I ❤️ ShadowMech he's amazing!!)

Now, in the canon of the little lore bit he did, he doesn't lose his eye. BUT I don't care yes he did ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹😋. And I don't just mean blinded. Like the eye fully had to be removed. Empty socket. His vision is also really fucked up because of the effect the scientist's experiment had on his eye, you can see in the og post how his eyes in fig. 1&2 his eyes are a more glowy-magenta vs the slightly desaturated purple of his natural eye color. (And don't forget the bright red pupils.) This makes shadow essentially legally blind, because his vision is so fucked due to his color perception, and messed up pupil, along with his non-existent depth perception. And I say essentially because there's not like. LAWS in my silly little Minecraft au. Or major governments, really. Which makes him extra clumsy, on top of the fact he was already a pretty big, clunky guy BEFORE he got experimented on. The experiment also enhanced his size, so he grew basically a foot (why he's 7+ feet tall) so hes blind, already very clumsy, American Size Large™ on top of that so hes in the way a lot. He gets really self-conscious at times about how and where he's standing or moving, how much space he's taking up, if he could be blocking anything. In the snedow version of my au Sneve is the first to meet shadow and notices it relatively quickly and tries his hardest to make sure shadow never feels like any sort of burden to him or anything, and It helps him become more social which is when he then meets Legundo and after that, the rest of the team. In the quickmechlabs version of my au he meets Sean first, and Sean is really put off by his behavior so he goes to Robert and tell him about "this super weird guy I just met, he's like 7 feet tall but acts like a nervous child, what do you think he's nervous about?? Do you think he's planning something? What if he's planning something against me-" and it takes Robert 5 whole minutes to get Sean to shut up and listen because "NO, he's not trying to kill you, hes probably just got like, anxiety or something, be nice to him!" And Sean has NO idea how to be nice normally but hearing that this guy might NOT be trying to harm him and might ACTUALLY just be an anxious freak, he gets the very ominous urge to protect shadow from whatever it was that made him think he was an issue, which is something he's *only* ever felt for Robert, and NO ONE ELSE. He tells this to Robert, and Robert snorts, and teases him about having a crush on this guy, and Sean yells at him about it and such, and eventually Robert gets to meet shadow and IMMEDIATELY understands where Sean was coming from. The nervous demeanor of shadow sparks some deep-rooted protective instinct, that, once again, he's ONLY EVER HAD FOR SEAN. And he looks over to Sean and they make eye contact and in that single split second they both fully understand they are going to do everything in their power to make shadow their very large wife, you're welcome, good night, I'm tired I can't write anymore

1000 days compilation video (12-13 hrs)

That video is a compilation/movie shadow put together of the 10 hardcore 100 days he made, it's about 12 hrs 40 mins long, it's a big video so I recommend either getting some snacks and setting yourself up or splitting it up. Personally I'm mentally ill so I prefer to binge that video all in one, Then Legundo's 1000 days AND 2000 days comp all in one sitting. (If you enjoy lore or ARG's I highly recommend checking out Legundo and his HDMV if you haven't, i wont spoil (mostly because I dont understand much of whats happening myself-) but its VERY interesting I highly recommend !)

The box Spinger gets is heavy, and rattles when its moved. Its also big, and a little unwieldy to carry.

Inside are various hard to get metals and gemstones, either being to expensive to buy or to rare to be worth spending the shanix on. Each one is carefully boxed up and placed, and resting at the top are spare rotor blades, carefully crafted to fit him. They're expertly made, sharp and carefully acid etched to show the pattern of the metal.

It took me a bit to find everything I wanted to get you. I hope you can get a good use out of them, either for your forge or for your press. It took me a bit to find a forgemech good enough for your blades, and to get the etching I wanted. Some of them, if you look closely, do resemble bits of Praxus, i hope that's alright. If not you are more than welcome to edit and adjust them as you see fit.

Then attaches the new ones. Flaring them happily and testing their weight. Then sending a message to Ghost with a pic. Springer taking a shot over his shoulder. Back to a mirror, showing off the spread of blades.
