hi tumblr im normal about minecraft worldbuilding
#haunted ecosystem#i totally haven't been thinking about this stuff for literal years.#i need to make a fic where i can just delve into it and write every little detail and explain how it all works#i want to explain my lore for phantoms and lavius (minecraft) and how the languages around you exist but arent understood by players#anymore. but they used to be.#how hub worlds work and by proxy server hubs. how you go about getting to a server which is invite only or on the smaller side#how big servers have these fancy “doors” or how in the empty spaces there are unsightly things that lure in players to corrupted servers#or how lag / glitches work. how inventories function and their appearances. the logic of player appearance and the inherent customizability#ALSO how usernames are tied to players. how mobs work and why they're distinct from players but not in the sense of lacking sentience
