"have we not had a good time together" shes pointing yaz to the rule that yaz very well knows is there: we can travel if you dont ask me any difficult questions. yaz knows this is the rule - "because you ask too many questions", "this team structure isnt flat" - but she also was the one to invite the doctor into her home so im pretty sure she also knows shes not gonna kicked out that easily. she has some leeway. which she has been using between revolution and flux, which is why the doctor reminds her of the rules

i dont think she'd kick her out though. she wouldnt. i think it's just that the more you break the rule, the more unpleasant she becomes to be around, and eventually youre gonna walk out on your own. she doesnt want you to, she'd rather you stay and dont ask questions. but if youre gonna try to ask questions anyway, i think thats whats gonna happen

and yaz must think so too. because she does back off. because she doesnt want that to happen either. and it does anyway

i finished packing and this got zero notes so everyone listen up because grace and i are funny

zuko is like idk eleven when he writes it

he likes writing so he figured it would be fun

azula is raven, aka the person who beta read for the author

azula wrote all the author’s notes

as in azula is why there are so many typos. as in when zuko typed “masturbating”, azula scoffed because she thought that wasn’t a word and changed it to “masticating” (this headcanon was grace’s brilliant idea)

azula is like. nine by the way

and zuko asked azula because he was an angry moody gloomy child and azula, mai, and ty lee were like his only friends at this point so he decided to ask her and she seemed eager but she just made more spelling errors than zuko did because she thought she was right and zuko never bothered to read azula’s changes before he posted lol

and one day she’s like “stop writing your self-insert fanfiction and play with me”

and zuko gets offended and is like “nO I”M NOT EBONY! besides, she kisses boys and boys don’t kiss boys. only girls kiss boys”

and azula is like “well i don’t wanna kiss boys”

and zuko’s like “that’s cause you’re nine. whatever i’m not ebony. i’m... uh... i’m vampire”

and azula is like “???” “didn’t vampire date draco too?”

and zuko’s face is getting red and he’s like “fine then! none of them are based after me!”

but azula isn’t done and is like “wouldn’t you rather be draco anyways? he gets to kiss ebony”

and zuko rolls his eyes and is like “ew i don’t want to kiss ebony”

and at this point they should have figured out they were gay but internalized homophobia / they’re in the middle of a fight lol

and azula is like “sure”

anyways skip ahead to when they’re older and understand that they both helped write the most iconicly bad harry potter fanfic ever and swore each other to secrecy

then they’re in college and hanging out at zukoand jet’s apartment with: sokka, ty lee, mai, katara, aang, suki, yue (alive), jet (alive), toph, and idk probably haru

and they talk and somehow fanfiction gets brought up and sokka is smirking so wide and goes “you guys know my immortal?”

and zuko and azula’s hearts stop

and sokka continues with “katara was obsessed with it when she was younger, and not as a joke. like. she actually liked it”

and katara looks like she might strangle him and everyone is chortling as they do and she goes “nO I DIDN’T”

and sokka is like “yeah you did. how does it go again? my name is ebony dark’ness uhhhh demons?”

and katara just mumbles “my name is ebony dark’ness dementia raven way and i have long ebony black hair...”

and more laughing and then toph or aang go “wait what’s my immortal?”

and zuko and azula share frightened looks as sokka starts to pull it up on his phone and says that he’s going to read it

and zuko just stands up and goes “bATHROOM” and runs to the bathroom and hides until he thinks they’re done

so he waits like a half hour because he thinks they’ll give up after awhile

but he walks out and now sokka, ty lee, aang, jet, and suki are all reading it and playing different roles and everyone else is chortling and azula is giving him a death stare because he left her alone

and sokka’s like “hey, buddy” (idk they either just started dating or they are pining) and zuko looks at him and is like “... i have to use the bathroom again”

and jet’s like “you okay?”

and zuko goes “no” and then walks into his bedroom instead (where there is no bathroom)

and katara’s like “what’s up with him? his face is all red. what? is he scared we’ll find out he wrote it?”

then everyone laughs and then they’re like “... wait”

eventually they get zuko to confess and he immediately points at azula and exposes her and she stands up and us ready to fight like “yOU SAID YOU WOULDN’T TELL!”

and zuko is like “if i’m going down you’re going down with me”

and then ty lee is like “wAIT if you’re the author and you’re raven... what was that fight about?”

and they both stare at each other and zuko eventually goes “azula told me that i was ebony and i got mad at her and told her i was basing voldemort off of her because i didn’t want her to think i wanted to kiss guys and then she got offended and made a bunch of changes to the next chapter”

and katara is like “so that’s why the writing got worse...wait zuko aren’t you an english major?”

and he’s like “LOOK i was eleven”

and then sokka turns to him with a way too wide grin and goes (and this is for everyone who wants angry a-hole zuko lol) “so... dumbledore, huh? why was he so out of character?”

and zuko’s face gets red and he screams “HE HAD A HEADACHE OKAY!”

and suki is like “did dumbeldore have a headache or did you have a headache?”

and zuko is about to throw hands and then idk if zukka isn’t together sokka may be like “so... you’re ebony... does that mean you want to kiss guys?”

and zuko simply combusts and regrets everything

(bonus: after the masticating incident, zuko, iroh, and idk lu ten maybe are chilling / eating in the kitchen and nine year old azula thinks she’s so funny and is like “hahah look! zuko is masturbating!” because she doesn’t think it’s a real word or something and iroh and lu ten are “???” while zuko looks like he’s about to smite her on the spot)
