deleting my twitter and finally spending less time on social media i don’t even use properly vs. wanting to check on artists/creators i like and my concerning dependence on social networks for Things To Look At for easy brain chemicals, fight

#its not like im ever actually social on social media #i just spend so much time lurking that instead of #oh idk drawing or writing or doing literally anything else #im like #’’uee hee hee *refreshes*’’#i mean i have this problem with tumblr too but the solution is not to replace my twitter with an insta/cohost/mastodon or whatever #so it’s either deactivate with the possibility that i straight up don’t function properly without easy to reach stimuli #and also miss out on artists im genuinely invested in #or use an app owned by emon lusk #thatll probably just deteriorate into a shittier platform as time passes #honestly embarrassing to admit this is even a dilemma for me ughHhhhhhhh #mypost
