Han and Leia waiting to get married makes total sense! At the end of return of the Jedi the only time they’ve spent as a couple is when their relationship started in ESB and its continuation in ROJ most of which they were in battle. Yes Leia has been thinking about him for about a year now but she hasn’t been able to get closer to him in that time, and for Han it’s like not time has passed at all. Plus there’s still a fucking War going on that they very much are invoked in. Marriage is not on their minds, especially Leia’s. (Plus all the traumatic shit they have to process)

I like that Leia is a senator and not a general. Okay hear me out. Leia is trained in diplomacy as much as she is in combat. She was a senator before she was a rebel. And she has always been very much involved in matters of state and would want to feel like she was actively doing something to keep the republic in check. The rebellion was not just a war to her it was making the Galaxy a better place that doesn’t end when the war for her so the natural next step would be a government position. Granted she still acts as a general if need be and goes far beyond her job description countless times.

Okay so I get that people are relieved that Han and Leia didn’t kiss before they parted once again, because that simple hug gave us more heart break by the end of the movie. But the fact is, JJ could have done so much with their relationship. Leia and Han have been together for YEARS, even when he left after Ben turned to the Dark Side  canon-ly they were married. They had a family, but they would still be Han and Leia they would still be so stubborn. They would still have that little sass before he left, which we got a small taste of it. But where was the line I wished so hard for?

" Afraid I was gonna leave without giving you a goodbye kiss? “  “I’d still just as soon kiss a Wookie” 

They could have set it up. Chewie was there, RIGHT THERE. It would have been FUNNY and would have made me cry ten times as hard.

Where was that line? Why didn’t they re-use that line? Because That line just proved that she loved him but there was no way she was going to give it all to him in that moment since he was such a cocky scruffy sonuva.

Day dreaming about Star Wars the musical. There’s either 9 of them (1 for each movie), or 3 really long ones with 3 acts a piece. Plus a few extra for like standalone films and stuff. (I know this makes zero sense logically) The first song is sung by C-3PO at the beginning of ANH. They also fix all of the problems with the movies because this is a day dream and I can change things if I want to. There’s a duet of Kylo and Hux being at eachothers throats but it ends as a reprise to the organasolo duet that’s in ESB. The prequels musicals also include the clone wars because how could you not? There’s two alternate Time lines for sequels as well so there is one version that follows legends. Gosh I wish I could write music I would make this myself.
