I had the pleasure of seeing this great band live in NYC in 1999 at The Beacon and it was beautiful! My great + awesome friend Carlos turned me on to this music years ago with his wonderful family of expat Cubans . This album went on to sell 12 Million copies globally - yeah this album of beautiful Cuban Standards - what a joy- oh when Joe Biden resumes normal relationship with Cuba make sure you book a trip there, as I was in Cuba in 2002-2003 one of the most alluring places on our planet- every single country in the world has normal relationship with this country and it is filled with tourists from all around this planet - and what I loved most about my time in Cuba was both the people and it’s music Enjoy!!
