Last Song: St Agnes & The Burning Train - Sting (It's so pretty, my heart)

Last Book: I'm still reading The Fires of Heaven by Robert Jordan because it takes 500 years to read when you only do half an hour of it 4 days a week.

Last Film: I think it was still Deadpool Vs Wolverine. I'm considering finding time to go see the new Bridget Jones movie because I just like wonderful rubbish sometimes XD

Last TV Show: Bones and 911 Lone Star (jfc that latest episode)

Sweet/Savoury/Spicy: Sweet. I am a spice wimp.

Relationship Status: Married but with benefits if we feel like them.

Last Thing Googled: Uhhh I looked up Jammy Red Roo wine because I couldn't remember the Yellow Tail brand I wanted for a shiraz shopping order :P

Current Obsession: Destiny 2, Dragon Age Veilguard, somewhat back into Guild Wars 2 again, Baldur's Gate 3. Cadbury's Twirls because I found out my lactose intolerant ass can actually eat them.

Looking Forward To: My birthday this month, hopefully going for a spa day at some point; finally getting to publish one of my novels hopefully by the end of this month; a surprise party for my husbando; seeing friends I miss; going to a cottage retreat in a few months with some awesome people; and whenever I next get to do a Witcher 3 bingeplay sesh with bestie.

Last Creative Project: I guess the last completed one (unless you count a violin concert) was a Baldur's Gate fanfic. Active WIPs are my second book and some other fanfics.

1. origin of your blog title? My muses are nearly all tricksters or at least rogues and almost all of them can or have travelled in time. Astarion I guess lived through time XD

2. favorite color? Also purple! 💜

3. favorite game? If we're talking of all time, probably Portal 2 or Dungeon Keeper 1. Otherwise Baldur's Gate 3 and Guild Wars 2.

4. song stuck in your head? Hunter of Stars by Sebalter. I'm getting the Eurovision listening in this week.

5. weirdest habit/trait? Uh, I have a few and I can't think of the weirdest off the top of my head so right now it's between having to flick my fingers when I get a sensory issue in my head or the fact me and my husband meow at each other as our typical greeting.

6. hobbies? Writing, video games, roleplaying, biannual violin playing, singing in the shower, D&D/RPGs

7. if you work, what's your profession? Medical secretary/typist. Arguably my writing books is also a profession but I'm slow so it's not in any way an income 😂

8. something you're good at? Writing. I'm not the best, but I feel like I can say I'm reasonably good at it.

9. something you're bad at? Relaxing

10. something you love? Spending time with loved ones playing games, and my cats

11. something you could talk about for hours? Any of my hyperfixations. Marvel, BG3, PotC, and other interests.

12. something you hate? Injustice.

13. something you collect? Spreadsheets 😂 the things I collect are mostly virtual on games I play so in-game items. Oh, but I also started collecting the little Bearilliant Beasts cards from the Bear snacks because I am a child and tbh I'll probably give them to a kid if I collect them all.

14. something you forgot? To relax

15. love language? Giving my time. Sending things that remind me of them.

16. favorite movie? Labyrinth

17. favorite show? FarScape

18. favorite food? Currently Saag Aloo packet rice I think, or stir fry. Ooh lactose free gluten free tuna melt (I'm intolerant not trendy).

19. favorite candy? Probably Twirls now I found I can eat them without bad things happening to me

20. favorite animal? Cats

21. what were you like as a child? Quietish unless I had something to babble about. Hyperfixated on dinosaurs, face constantly in a book. Obsessively followed rules but also collected things that felt nice or that I believed had been misplaced and forgotten. Didn't really understand other children, preferred best friend and adults.

22. favorite subject in school? English and French

23. least favorite subject in school? PE

24. what's your best character trait? I don't feel like I'm the person qualified to answer that. Ask Calico. My husband thinks it's part of one I consider my worst.

25. what's your worst character trait? I'm overly honest and/or I overshare careless things that hurt people. I babble too much about the same things on repeat and I don't trust in myself enough and wind up behaving pathetically or defensively right after I stand up for myself, which undermines the points I intend to make.

26. if you could change any detail of your life right now what would it be? Look after myself, do better.

27. if you could go back in time who would you talk to? Without consequence to the timeline, myself, so that I could handle certain situations better. If there's consequences, sod that I'm not going back in time 😂 Anyone I respect I don't want to make the mistake of meeting my heroes.

Comfort food(s): LF choc/hazelnut mochi, Free From raspberry ripple cake things, LF cheese on GF toast, and I found out I can eat Twirls again now.

Comfort drink(s): Decaf soy gingerbread or hazelnut latte. Lucela's chocolate rum. Yellowtail shiraz. Berry smoothies.

Comfort movie(s): Labyrinth. Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy plus On Stranger Tides. Back to the Future trilogy. The Princess Bride. A Little Princess. The Chorus. You've Got Mail. The Neverending Story.

Comfort show(s): I want to say FarScape as it's my favourite show but it's not really a comfort show. So I'll list my genuine comfort ones. Red Dwarf. Blackadder. Community. Lucifer. Buffy the Vampire Slayer. ATLA (the original series). Quantum Leap (original, I still need to see the newer ones). I guess Taskmaster but I'm watching all of that for the first time.

Comfort clothing: Dressing gown, pyjama bottoms, oversized t-shirts, and hoodies. Incidentally, that's just what I wear because IBS makes tight clothes rude.

Comfort song(s):  Gawd, too many songs to pick from. Dancing in the Moonlight by Toploader makes me happy but I'm trying to think of my most recent comforting thing that isn't melancholic af. Ok no I fail that, I'm very comforted and consoled by St Agnes and the Burning Train at the moment. If an instrumental counts as a song. For happier comfort there's Streaming Music Studios' Stardew Valley Overture. Ooh Gareth Dunlop's Devil Like You soothes me, too.

Comfort book(s): Terry Pratchett's Discworld series and Brian Jacques' Redwall series. Also Howl's Moving Castle.

Comfort game(s): Mass Effect trilogy, Baldur's Gate 3, Dragon Age Veilguard, Portal 2, Midnight Suns, Transport Tycoon, Dungeon Keeper 1, Stardew Valley, Sea of Thieves, Valheim. I guess Destiny 2 slightly counts because I'm comforting myself obsessing over weapon spreadsheets.

Name/Alias: Pirate (elsewhere known as Kit or Cappy, plus other more historic pseuds)

Pronouns: She/her, but I'll answer to my muse ones if I'm pretending to be them.

Most Active Muses: Loki is the most active though not necessarily by choice XD Astarion is next most, then Jack, then XI. I plan on making some starter/plotting calls for the other lads either when I feel I've caught up a bit more on drafts or when I feel like it. Mutuals are welcome to drop in my IMs to write with them. I also have some ladies from XI's background I can write (his Sarah Jane, his Missy, or one of his daughters).

Experience/how many years? I think I've arguably been roleplaying since I was 16 in MSN chats. Eventually I made a PotC proboards for me and a few friends (how I met my bestie), then I was in the Vulpine Imperium and Fantasmic, dabbled in RolePages a bit as XI before bringing him to tumblr in 2013, made Loki in 2017, Jack a little later (even though I played him years back), and kept them til now where Astarion joins us.

Fluff, Angst or Smut? I love angst though I prefer it to have a happy ending/a resolution. I've had enough sadness in my life to need to write unending suffering even if I do love absolutely wrecking my muses. I'd say I marginally prefer smut to fluff, but only if the smut merges with the story. Smut for smut's sake gets dull for me. Same for fluff tbh. If the story is interesting enough to me, I love the cutes, but it can get restless for some of my tricksy muses if there isn't some balance (which can be as simple as having other threads).

Favourite Colour: Purple though I also love the non-colour black, and because of Loki aesthetics I'm fond of emerald green.

Last Book: Last book I finished was Space Captain Smith by Toby Frost. Enjoyable and silly. If any moots have GoodReads and want to hit me up, drop in my IMs so we can share book recs. I'm currently reading The Fires of Heaven from the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. The TV show got me into it.

Last Movie: Uh. It's been a while since I watched a film. At the cinema it must have been Deadpool & Wolverine. Not sure if I've watched a movie at home for a bit as I've been bingeing series.

Last TV show: Currently working our way through Bones though I'm watching 911 Lone Star when new episodes come out and if we don't have time for a full Bones we watch a Brooklyn 99. I think the last show we finished was Wednesday, which I do recommend!
