/so for my own sanity- muses who want their own blog can only be side blogs for the main muses- they will send asks through anons or their names will be in [brackets] with their inquiries. Ulysses is the landlord (lol vana @oceansbride ) for both Cthulhu and Marisol. Maverick has Calico which makes sense lol. Devlin is a solo surfer but I’m thinking he can have the girls- Apollymi and Delia. They’re like a trio of reasonable and somewhat nice people 😌 (well there is Marisol but she’s with her dad anyway)

Oh yes, that was the first thing I did XD Currently I have the group set as Lucius, Raven, Rutger, Ophelia--and then I realized “oh no, I can’t fit all of the Leo Trio.” Currently have Niles, and a friend’s Leo, but at some point they’ll probably step out so I can have Odin and Legault in for  spell. Or Odin and Niles. Or Karel and Karla. Or--XD

i've been rping for a WHILE and i totally stand by the idea that if for some reason the fc you use makes you uncomfortable, you should change it. it's hard and it makes you feel better

in my experience, i had an oc who was disney based, daughter of Aurora and Prince Phillip named Genevieve Rose, and her fc back then was Amber Hea*rd. When the allegations came in with that particular celebrity, I had to change it to emily be*tt rickar*ds and honestly- it felt like that fc fit her better and i can be rest assured

i totally support this notion, it feels like something we must do as a community, and no one should be treated bad for it

What do most of your characters have in common?

// I think about this question a lot, and i think they do yearn to belong. they are usually like creatures traversing realms, and are in inner battle of where they really belong, because there is always a duality to them. ulysses is a kraken but he is also a warlock, maverick is a dragon but he is also a prince, devlin's well, he's been changing, he battled duality, and he's still being changed (he's also the most accepting of change and most easy going), apollymi is princess of atlantis and a professor, and delia is a demoness and writer/therapist...

i think muses are an extension of us, and to me, i feel like it might evoke on my own desire to feel accepted. wherever i go, i'm not enough of something, or i stand out, and there's no one really like me. i feel like i don't know where to smile, or if i am smiling too much, and i weirdly stand out. there was a phase in my life i would lie for attention or be quirky/weird just because i know people are going to be shitty/judgmental anyway so why hold back? during a low point in my life, which was early college days, i would feel crushingly alone, and i would hopelessly cling on to any form of attention because i honestly cannot accept that i had no one. i became bitter that everyone had someone who they can be happy with, and i AM JUST KEN

/so yesterday i had a longass day, been treated like shit at work esp because i told them that i needed to leave a little early to attend a religious thing, and they allowed me but they kept calling me at work and being assholes bc they apparently are dying without me, and then i fixed the issue even though i wasn't clocked in bc they weren't leaving me alone. and then my friend broke down in sobs a few minutes later right after i got dinner, and i spent the next hour consoling her, and honestly what a damn night

i just spent the entire day rping today, bc i deserve it
