Man, remember when NYXL used to be like The Org within the Overwatch League and now they’re out here allegedly putting together a PR stunt of a team that’s got good odds of being horrific for absolutely everyone.

Okay, but, what skins do you have on all the characters in overwatch?
Or ones you want to have but can't get anymore?
ALL OF THEM? .... Here we go. 90% of these skins were from lootboxes in OW1. If i don't play a certain character, I won't buy their skins in OW2 // I'll also put how many skins I own for them. Some have league skins but I'm going off what it says with no filters. With Cassidy, I supposedly have them all, but I am in fact missing four because I didn't want to buy them in the shop.
TANKS
D.VA - Varsity // Antifragile Dazzle (21/29)
DOOMFIST - Formal (17/25)
JUNKERQUEEN - Black Metal // Zeus (7/15)
MAUGA - before S11, Bonesplitter, now is the Port-De-Paix (3/7)
ORISA - Forest Spirit (18/25)
RAMATTRA - Wandering Monk // Poseidon (23/23) // Has league skins
REINHARDT - Greifhardt // Lieutenant Wilhelm (20/30)
ROADHOG - Mako (17/28)
SIGMA - Maestro (17/22)
WINSTON - Lab Technician (19/24)
WRECKING BALL - Submarine (20/27)
ZARYA - Apocalypse (14/23)
DPS
ASHE - Calamity Empress (14/26) // I don't like the others I have unlocked
BASTION - Overgrown // Antique (24/27)
CASSIDY - Blackwatch or Deadlock (32/32)
ECHO - Good and Evil // Moth (14/21)
GENJI - Happi (21/32) // I spent way too long earning the tokens for this skin
HANZO - Scion (24/32)
JUNKRAT - Beachrat (13/27)
MEI - Honeydew (18/28)
PHARAH - Hades (16/29)
REAPER - Blackwatch (25/30)
SOJOURN - Vigilante (3/14)
SOLDIER: 76 - Strike Commander Morrison // Formal: 76 (24/31)
SOMBRA - Antifragile Slay Star (16/26)
SYMMETRA - Oasis (18/29)
TORBJORN - Chopper (17/27)
TRACER - Adventurer (24/32)
VENTURE - Overwatch 2 (0/4) // Don't play them, don't come for me
WIDOWMAKER - Dryad // Black Lily (25/35)
SUPPORT
ANA - Nighthawker // Captain Amari // A-7000 Wargod (25/30)
BAPTISTE - Formalwear (12/23)
BRIGITTE - Sparkplug // Antifragile BB (15/24)
ILLARI - Nightraven (4/11)
KIRIKO - Antifragile Kira-Kira (6/15)
LIFEWEAVER - Cassia (4/12)
LUCIO - Poison Dart // Jazzy (19/30)
MERCY - Dr. Ziegler // 2019 Atlantic All-Stars (24/32)
MOIRA - Blackwatch (19/26)
ZENYATTA - Kaiju // Toybot // Takoyaki // Bathmaster // Z-3N Destroyer (32/37) // Currently working on getting the others because they're credits, not coins
There's characters that I rarely play, only in MH or some shit, so for characters like Doomfist, most of his skins are from the bp or lootboxes. As I mentioned at the start, I don't buy skins for characters that I don't play - like the lifeguard skins coming out, I love them, but I don't play the characters, so why should I buy them? Saving them credits for items for the ones I do play.

Catching Up
Alright, it's been a while! School has been really crazy and I've been working on getting my driver's license; it's just taken up so much of my time. So, I wanted to make a post about some of the big things that have happend recently that are OW2 related.
Happy Pride Month! I hope everyone has been doing well this month! Overwatch got a bunch of stuff to celebrate: Player Icons and Name Cards, an updated Midtown for Pride, and the "As You Are" shory story which confirmed Pharah to be a lesbian and Baptiste to be bisexual! I think Midtown looks awesome and I'm so glad we got the promised content for Pride month this year!
2. Season 5 Information - We will be getting the Mythic Adventurer Tracer soon! We learned more about some of the upcoming skins in these two tweets: Tracer Skin and Other Skins. Personally, I really like the Orisa skin!
3. Overwatch 2: Invasion and Season 6 Content - Today, we got a bunch of short videos about what we will be getting in terms of PVE content, a new characters, and a new gamemode. Here is a comprehensive video about all of the stuff we got today.
4. The Midseason Madness Tourament - This Overwatch League tournament will be on June 15 - 17. An important thing to know about this tournament is what rewards you'll be able to get. Like normal, you'll be able to get OWL Tokens, but you'll also be able to get a Wrecking Ball spray and D.Va spray, Ramattra OWL skins, and Battlepass Tier Skips!
Again, sorry for not posting for a while, life has just been a lot. Along with working on driving, I've been working on another painting; I'll eventually make a post about it. I also got a short story and poem published in my school's literary magazine which was pretty cool, I may post them. I've also been doing more reading and writing. I just finished 'The World's Greatest Love Letter' compiled by Stefan Dziemianowicz.
Here was one of my favorite quotes: "... you make me dance between heaven and water just to please you, and when you are tired with the sport you will cut the line. Then I shall have a hook in my mouth - and shall never find another fisher." (Prosper Merimee to "Unknown", 1841).
I'm going to be reading 'The Complete Poems of Robert Frost' next! My favorite thing about it right now is that it is 666 pages long.

The Dallas Fuel cosmetics and my thoughts (that no one asked for)
(Yes I’m ready to rant about it now)
During the 2021 season viewership rewards were changed and people who tuned into to watch the stage tournaments would be eligible to earn specially designed sprays that would commemorate that tournaments winner. The first of these sprays would be for the May Melee champions in Hawaii. Thankfully Dallas Fuel burned brightest that day and their efforts resulted (amongst other things) in the spray featuring a Dallas Fuel Reinhardt sipping from a coconut. The art was good and since Fearless had played Reinhardt during the last map of the finals match and had hit some amazing Earth shatters it was fitting that it would be the focus. The art is great and I love the idea of celebrating the smaller tournaments in this manner.
In 2022 they changed rewards so that winning teams of the stage tournaments would get team themed remix skins (instead of sprays that fans could earn for free just by watching) that fans could purchase with Overwatch league tokens. For the 2022 Summer Showdown tournament both region champions, the Shanghai dragons for the APAC region and The Dallas Fuel the NA region, were treated to their own themed Genji skin. This was extra fitting since on both teams resided the two best genji’s in the world in Whoru and Sp9rkle. Whilst the skin wasn’t as exclusive as other skins, it cemented both Dallas and Sp9rkle forever in Overwatch History. I really enjoyed the idea of tournament themed remix skins and the resulting Dallas Summer skin is my personal favourite skin.
The Dallas Fuel championship skin. When a team wins the Overwatch League, they get a skin to commemorate that victory. The “chained king” reaper skin was a disappointment and a failure in that regard. There is no Dallas Fuel iconography, there was already 2 team themed reaper skins released that year, there was nothing to suggest this skin had anything to do with the Dallas Fuel, it wasn’t even the right shade of blue. Rumours spread that it was a repurposed Warcraft or Diablo tie in skin, after looking at the skin I can see why. This is one of the few chances for teams to showcase the grand spectacle of the league, to bring attention to the team’s achievements that year. After eagerly waiting a year for the skin to be released fans were universally shocked and let down to discover what we had been provided, even people who weren’t fans of the Dallas Fuel were left confused at the skins reveal. The General Manager of the Dallas Fuel “Tazmo” hates the skin, and revealed that no one in the Dallas organisation had any input or were consulted about the skin. As far as he is concerned they didn’t get a championship skin. This is a skin that fans are expected to pay for, a skin that is supposed to represent the team that won the overwatch league, to celebrate the Dallas Fuel. Instead it just represents Blizzards lack of understanding and care. This skin that is supposed to represent the best grand finals of all overwatch league, is easily the worst championship skin that fails to do any of what it’s supposed to. To say I don’t like this skin is an understatement.
*Sigh*
The “Fuel Biker:76” was among the last remix skins to be released. Since it was the twilight of the League, since only 1 tournament outside of the grand finals took place that year the team remix skins were instead given to regular season winners for that respective stage. Dallas Fuel had returned from the midseason break with a fire in their hearts and won the APAC Summer qualifier regular season based on map differential. I like that they earned this by being the best regular season team and (considering the Championship skin failure) also has Fuel iconography and the right fuel colours.

this overwatch currency is a fuckin joke. $19 fuckin dollars for legendary skins? $10 for epic? $3 for rare???
and you can only gain 60 currency for free (unless it refreshes weekly and STILL that's barely anything) so that's 60 fucking cents??? and you have to hardcore go to get that!!! what about ppl that work??? my bro is so put off of this game because he only has a few hours to play a night. it's fucking bullshit.
then there's legacy currency that is old currency but works the same but no way of gaining more. like? make it a lesser currency we can use like crafting mats in apex!!! give us premium currency in the battle pass!!! blizzard!!! you make an ungodly amount of money from world of warcraft subs alone I think you can do a solid and give us a LITTLE more of a chance of not emptying our bank account for our favs.
I was gonna get league tokens for the new mercy skin (because I have a neurotic need to own all her skins) but then I found out ITS 15 FUCKING DOLLARS (which granted I've spent over $100 on mercy skins already but in my defense they were at least pretty and one was a donation to a cancer foundation) and the currency for it is 300 and to buy a $10 dollar of league tokens you only get 200!!!
im so put off of this. I already have to buy the battle pass and then pay more money for basic skins that aren't even event related???
are we doing events like Halloween terror? do we pay real money dor those skins if we do???
bring back some form of gift boxes??? like apex??? i dont enjoy apex very much because I get stressed and anxious a lot but at least their game gives me a fuckin chance to get shit without shelling out hundreds of dollars.

Overwatch stats
Tumblr media
Pete Vlastelica, President and CEO of Activision Blizzard Esports, also noted how hard the League has worked to provide matches during these difficult times. Viewership doubled from week 15, as the competition was fierce and fans stayed engaged every step of the way. “We’re excited to share more details early next week on how we build from here,” he stated, further adding, “including the schedule for the next tournament and broad structure the rest of our 2020 season!”Įxcited to see fans couldn’t get enough of the Overwatch League “May Melee” tournament this past weekend. Overwatch League Vice President Jon Spector tweeted on May 27 about the League’s future with tournament style matches for the future. In another six map slugfest between a rookie underdog team and a squad protecting their crown, fans were rewarded with nothing less than spectacular play and production from the League. During the final match between the Florida Mayhem and the reigning champions, the San Francisco Shock, viewers hit 88k AMA. The North American region is no different. With 77k AMA tuning in for the best game of Overwatch this year, viewers were treated with non-stop thrills. Its peak hit during the heart-stopping, seven map marathon between the Seoul Dynasty and the Shanghai Dragons. Asian matches hit a high of 52k AMA, up exponentially from 23k AMA the previous weekend. Because of this, viewership around the world has also seen a great increase. The Overwatch League is currently operating two separate regions: the Asian region and the North American region. Regional Success Around The World – Overwatch League 2019 – LA Valiant Homestand / Photo: Robert Paul for Blizzard Entertainment With an additional increase in viewership due to the long awaited returns of Token Drops on the Overwatch League website, fans from around the world were able to earn rewards for simply tuning in and watching these showstopping matches live. This tournament style format is something fans have been anticipating since the Grand Finals of last year. However, the League knows when they’ve done something good. The reason such an interest was gained could be chalked up to plenty of notions. This is the second highest viewership to date, toppled only by the League’s Week 2 broadcast of NA matches, with a live AMA of 74k. In total, the AMA viewers increased from 31k in Week 15, to 63k AMA. Referred to as AMA, the average audience minute measures the average number of people watching a broadcast at any minute during the broadcast, calculated by the total minutes watched, divided by total minutes broadcast. Viewer metrics are measured using the average audience minute. Statistically, the May Melee tournament drew a massive crowd. With one of the best matches in Overwatch League history setting the stage (the Shanghai Dragons, reigning stage champions, reverse sweeping the Seoul Dynasty in a 4-3 battle for the ages), as well as a single elimination pattern that put the best of the best against each other, the Overwatch League hit new highs on the back of the May Melee Tournament. However, it seems the community, and the fans, of the League were the true winners of this spectacular display. In the end, only two victors would walk away as champions. In the weeks leading up to this three-day brawl, all 20 teams were invited to bring their best as they climbed the ranks for success. Last weekend, from May 22 to May 24, the Overwatch League hosted the first ever May Melee Tournament.
