Peyton didn't know why he did it, but there he was signing off the sheet for the telegram.

He handed over the note to the attendant. He had marked off the single rose option with a handwritten original poem. He turned around, "Your turn." He stated towards Drew. "How many are you sending?" Peyton had done one and only one.

Mari tilted her head slightly as she looked between Asher and the present she had for him. "Oh, you know," She lightly tapped the present with her finger, "a box." A small grin started to grow on her lips. She was not good at a surprise but she got too excited to see how others reacted to her gift.

"Okay, I can't." She laughed and shook her head, "It's your present because I'm your secret santa." She felt awkward saying it but she didn't know how else to say it. She pushed it towards him. "I hope you like it." @heyits-asher

His eyes drop to the present, and he thinks first that she shouldn't feel a need to stop if she needs to drop it somewhere. He also thinks that it might be his. Ash already dropped Vincent's off to him, so now that leaves him waiting.

He looks from the box to Mari's face, back down to the box, and finally back up to her face where his eyes remain as he slyly asks, "What you got there, Mari?"

Waving back, Mariana was happy to see Asher. "Asher, hi!" She exclaimed as she got to where he was sitting. She enjoyed the energy that he brought.

"Brioche is the bread." And she loved it. If she could have it every day, she would. She sat down and placed the wrapped present she had in hand on the table. She was excited to give it to him and hoped he loved it. She took a good look at his likes list and went with her heart. "How are you?" She asked once she settled into her seat. @heyits-asher
