'𝗦𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗠 𝗩𝗜' 🎬 𝗦𝗬𝗡𝗢𝗣𝗦𝗜𝗦 & 😎 𝗡𝗢𝗡-𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗜𝗟𝗘𝗥 𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪: 🎬: With Samantha Carpenter [Melissa Barrera] still on edge almost a year after surviving a massacre by a pair of 'Ghostface' mimics in Woodsboro, she continues to be overprotective of her younger half-sister, Tara [Jenna Ortega], after they both had moved to New York with fellow brother & sister survivors, Chad [Mason Gooding] & Mindy [Jasmin Savoy Brown]. But when a new brutal Ghostface surfaces, leaving behind the DNA of previous Ghostface killers at bloody crime scenes, the girls' worst nightmare has returned. Unable to trust anyone, can the 'Core Four' survive long enough to find the identity & motives of the new killer? 😎: From the opening scene, when Associate Professor Laura Crane [Samara Weaving] is duped by her blind-date into entering a dark alley & then brutally stabbed by a new Ghostface, it's clear that the slash-factor in this next chapter is very high. Sam is the true victim of the film. Superficially she is stoic, but in actuality she is experiencing quite serious PTSD after the last movie's events; seeking help from a therapist, he ends their sessions & says he's ill-equipped to help her after she tells him the extent.of her trauma. Furthermore, despite the evidence to the contrary, an online troll campaign still leads people to believe that Sam was the killer of the last Woodsboro massacre - especially since she is the daughter of Billy Loomis [Skeet Ulrich], one of the OG Ghostface killers. As a result, Sam continues to be constantly heckled in public as people take photos of her & mutter under their breath right in front of her. The negative effects of social media trolling are really apparent, emphasising how easily misinformation is disseminated in modern society [particularly in the US] & how quickly people will believe the worst in others. 😱 With plenty of twists & turns, the new Ghostface pays homage to his/her predecessors by somehow collecting & then leaving their DNA [despite all of them being dead] at each new crime scene. 😱 Thanks to @paramountau; 'Scream VI,' rated 𝗠𝗔𝟭𝟱+, opened in 🇦🇺 on March 9, 2023. ©️ (at SCREAM) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cp10Yw-PvCr/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

"Who gives a fuck about movies!" -- Ghostface
Almost 30 years have passed since the original Scream first hit theaters in December 1996, forever putting its imprint on the horror film genre and, for a time salvaging slashers from the doldrums of direct-to-video. Many factors have gone into the perseverance of the series, such as not overly saturating itself with an overabundance of sequels. Although now that we officially arrived at the sixth installment of Scream, the number of sequels being a problem is up for debate.
The initial Scream trilogy was released in 1996,1997, and 2000. Another sequel wouldn't appear until 11 years later, in 2011. This could have been due to an apparent decline in quality or interest by the creators. However, the Wayans Brothers' directed parody Scary Movie that was released in 2000, which firmly took shots at Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer, may have been the culprit due to the film grossing over $278 million at the box office more than any of the Scream films. For many millennials born in the late 1980s or early 1990s, the first version of Ghostface they saw was the comedic satire in the Wayans' parody.
Notwithstanding the parodies, the Scream series has set itself apart from others by keeping the same core team around them, giving the films a clear voice, direction, and level of execution. Not all the movies in the Scream franchise are classics, but none are absolute bombs that sent the series into oblivion. Also, the fact that Roger L. Jackson has played the iconic voice of Ghostface in all the movies gives the series an additional sense of prestige and care.
The first four films were all directed by horror legend Wes Craven and featured Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox, and David Arquette. Screenwriter Kevin Williamson wrote three of the four, only missing the third due to a scheduling conflict with another show. Also, unlike Halloween, Friday The 13th, and A Nightmare on Elm Street, where the audience knows the antagonist, Scream keeps it mysterious as to who is behind the mask and why. Admittingly, some killer reveals have been better than others, with some ranging from outstanding to head-scratching.
In 2022, when the fifth Scream film was released, it came as a surprise as series director Wes Craven passed away, and it had been more than a decade since audiences last saw Ghostface. However, under the film team of Radio Silence consisting of Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett the aptly titled fifth installment called Scream took notes from David Gordon Green's recent Halloween trilogy in revitalizing the characters from the past and introducing new ones. Unlike Green's interpretation, Scream 5 doesn't ignore any of the sequels to the original.
For the sixth film, the same cast of characters has returned, including Samantha Carpenter (Melissa Barrera), Tara Carpenter (Jenna Ortega), Mindy Meeks-Martin (Jasmin Savoy Brown), Chad Meeks-Martin (Mason Gooding), along with the return of Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) and Kirby Reed (Hayden Panettiere).
Following the template of Scream 2 with the characters now in college and uniquely set in New York City, Scream 6 has a different aesthetic than previous entries. We'll take a look at the good and bad aspects of the sequel.
The Good:
The Screams films have been famous for their opening scenes. The original Scream in 1996 has one of the best openings in horror film history. Even Scream 2 delivered a worthy opening set in a movie theatre. Scream VI arguably has the finest opening scene since Scream 2, providing something different but within the confines of the series.
Unexpectedly, Ghostface is revealed after the first kill setting up the potential for the largest amount of killers in the series thus far. In some ways, Scream VI peaks in the beginning. The introduction is so strong that some portions of the film feel stagnant in comparison. However, numerous tension filed scenes utilize the New York setting that more than makes up for any flat segments.
The nine previous Ghostface killers usually did the majority of their murders at night with one potential victim. In the 1996 original, Ghostface, in a comedic moment, followed a character in broad daylight into a grocery store. Scream VI has Ghostface openly going after his victims in front of groups of people in public spaces.
With any horror film, the implementation of chase scenes with the audience witnessing the protagonists escaping the hands of the killer is essential to elevating the tension and sense of dread.
Scream VI has quite a few scenes that use the New York backdrop, such as one in a Bodega where they are hiding from a Ghostface with a shotgun. The ladder escape scene out of the apartment also stands out as a highlight, with almost every character facing danger. With the film taking place on Halloween, the sequence in the subway features a plethora of easter eggs for horror fans and genuinely leaves the audience dreading when Ghostface will attack. As is standard with films in general, but primarily horror films, the trailer, and marketing gave away much of the subway scene.
The return of 'legacy' characters was well done for fans of the franchise as Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) has one of the premier sequences in the film with her battle against Ghostface in her apartment.
Although Scream 4 is the movie that made the least amount of money at the box office, Hayden Panettiere's Kirby Reed remains one of the series' most beloved characters. The return of Kirby was a welcomed addition as her inclusion only adds to the film not only narratively, but also for die-hard fans of Scream.
While most of the cast does more than a serviceable job in their portrayals, Melissa Barrera gracefully steps into the lead role as the successor to Neve Campbell, who has undoubtedly been of the most remarkable final girls in horror history as Sidney Prescott. Barrera's performance was pivotal in the film's success as this was the first Scream that did not feature Neve Campbell due to a financial dispute.
Fortunately, the script by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick allows for a story that doesn't need Sidney Prescott. Her inclusion would have felt forced. Without her, it enables the new characters to establish themselves as the stars of the series.
One of the most consistent criticisms that the Scream films have withheld since their inception has been the lack of variety in the kills. While Scream has always been more focused on the style of the kill and who was killed, this sixth version stepped up its brutality. Knife stabs are still at the forefront, but the acts of the stabbings are more intense, leaving a more savage aftermath.
As an addendum, the voice of Ghostface, played by Roger L. Jackson, continues to be phenomenal. The variety put forth in his performance in Scream VI stands out as one of the best of the franchise.
The Bad (Mixed):
Part of the moviemaking template is to feature some love interest or romanticism between two characters. Scream VI has some scenes that slow the film down to develop our protagonists, specifically a comedic scene where Chad (Mason Gooding) labels the main group as the 'core four.' While some sequences are necessary to let the audience know how these characters have changed since the first movie's events, some feel forced and bring the momentum and pace to a halt.
Chad and Tara (Jenna Ortega), who didn't interact much in Scream 5, expand their relationship in the sequel, and while the two have some chemistry, most of their time together seems contrived. Rather than feel like a natural progression, the advancement in their relationship seems somewhat out of place and only serves to add some romantic elements. Thankfully, these scenes are scarce and don't overly bog down the story.
Jasmin Savoy Brown's character of Mindy serves as the pseudo-replacement for Randy as the film's resident expert of all things horror. Each Scream has a scene where a character states some form of rules or tropes that encompass the current zeitgeist of horror films. Scream 5 touched on Hollywood's reliance on creating reboots that serve as sequels. In the sixth entry, Mindy describes franchises in a mix of Randy's (Jamie Kennedy) speeches in Scream 2 and 3 about everything being bigger with more kills, blood, and the main characters' lives at stake.
Franchises' are certainly massively prevalent in today's film landscape. However, Scream VI does better when sticking with social commentary than film commentary.
The film's third act brings to the surface the notion that it is just as crucial in today's world to assassinate a person's character as it is to kill them. Throughout the film, Sam deals with conspiracies about her being the actual killer in the events of part 5. It's not enough that she pays physically, but that her reputation in the public eye is ruined. This perspective gives the revenge motive of the film's Ghostface killers an added angle to their form of vengeance.
The Ugly (Not A Fan):
Along with its openings, Scream's killer reveals have defined the franchise. Unfortunately, Scream VI's reveal of three Ghostface killers with Detective Bailey (Dermont Mulroney) at the helm felt anticlimactic and somewhat obvious at times. The family revenge angle taken directly from Scream 2 isn't terrible, yet Mulroney's over-the-top performance after the reveal is slightly agitating.
Horror films, specifically slashers, ask their audience to suspend disbelief, allowing characters to make inane decisions to be just a part of the show.
The reveal of the killers makes a few of their actions beforehand seem asinine. In particular, in the aftermath of the subway scene, some directions taken are almost inexcusable.
The death of David Arquette's Dewey Riley highlighted that the 'Radio Silence' team wasn't afraid to kill off fan favorites. Scream VI shows a considerable lack of fortitude by the filmmakers, with every established main character surviving. Precisely three characters surviving was groan-inducing and gave the audience the realization that Scream VI has virtually no stakes.
It's somewhat baffling that the same team that killed Officer Dewey would allow Gale Weathers to survive. And one character who was stabbed 10-plus times by two killers simultaneously left the film breathing. It's possible that they are saving any major game-changing deaths for a third installment, but for a Ghostface killer that was more vicious than others, to have everyone escape with their lives intact seemed pointless.
The 'Radio Silence' team has undoubtedly put the Ghostface character back into the horror lexicon of today's films. Their entries further signify its status as an icon. But, in many respects, there isn't anything new being said in these films.
They are retreads of the original trilogy and need more new ideas to separate them from previous films. Scream has always been a meta-horror film series, and within that framework, it doesn't need to have happy endings where consequences are minimal.
All in all, despite the issues and criticisms, Scream VI succeeds in continuing the series' reputation of having solid and entertaining sequels. For younger audiences, which may be witnessing their first rendition of Ghostface on the big screen, this entry will be considered top-notch and certainly has its place among the best of the franchise.

Howdy Folks! It’s the weekend and if you’re looking for something do in the Los Angeles area then come on down to the opening reception of @galleries1988 ‘Idiot Box’! A wondrous show dedicated to the golden era of television…(2001 ⬆️). I also happen to have a piece in the show inspired by @showtime 2021 hit series ‘Yellowjackets’ ( @shoyellowjackets ) featuring a huge ensemble cast including (but not limited to): Christina Ricci, Juliette Lewis , Melanie Lynskey Tawny Cypress, Alexa Barajas, Courtney Eaton, Ella Purcell, Liv Hewson, Jane Widdop, Jasmine Savoy Brown, Keeya King, Kevin Alves, Luciano Leroux, Samantha Hanratty, Sophie Thatcher, Sophie Nélisse, Steven Kruger, Warren Cole,…and SO many more. I created a ‘narrative’ illustration telling parts of the story that resonated with me from the first season. Showtime’s production is nothing less than brilliant at creating an ominous atmosphere for these ill-fated teens. If you came of age in the late 90’s (specifically 1996), this will definitely evoke some nostalgia in design and music. All of this is secondary to the amazing job done with casting, and directing, so check it out if you have #Showtime. The image is 11” x 17”, printed on white pearl linen paper (provided by @sgxprint ), and will be truly appreciated by any fan as it is littered with all sorts of small details! If you can’t make the show, check the gallery’s website the following day. Power Rangers Shinobi Strike
(Logo by @masterpikachu6)
Centuries ago in Japan a wicked and cruel man led an army in an attempt to rule everything. However a group of shinobi rose up to fight him. Desperate for victory the wicked man opened a portal to the demon realm but him and his army were pulled into it. A blacksmith created a special sealing shuriken and the shinobi split this key into five pieces. They took the pieces and spread around the world to prevent the key from being reformed. Time passed and each shinobi began a family and their skills and tools were passed on as well. These included a scroll detailing the events of the battle and a Shinobi Shuriken. However a demonic Kitsune managed to steal the key shards and reopen the portal. The wicked man had become a Demonic Emperor with an army of Nonja. However time has left him weakened and so they send the Nonja out to harness fear to bring him back to his former glory. He also sends out shurikens charged with demonic power to create modern day Yokai. The current heirs to the five shinobi gather in a city near the site where the portal is weakest and unleash their power as the Power Rangers Shinobi Strike! With Ninpo and the tools and powers of the shinobi they fight back against the Demonic Emperor as their ancestors once did. After rescuing a man and his family the five are allowed to live in his martial arts dojo. Each ranger has power over an element but only via a special shuriken. One of their earliest tasks is to teach each other how to utilize the other elements.
Red Shinobi Ranger- The Burning Ninja- Alexis Georgiou Kokinos Age: 20 Personality/Bio: Born in Greece, Alexis and his family made their home on Santorini Island, in the shadows of the volcano on the island. He is a very hot blooded and energetic young man. When it comes to innocent life he is very reckless, not afraid to jump into danger to rescue others. His Key Shard was the last one stolen and he sent out the alarm to the rest of the Shinobi as he followed the thief. He found them and tried to engage them but almost lost if not for the arrival of the other Shinobi Rangers. He holds the element of fire within him and can use his element’s power to burn his enemies or create a smokescreen. As the leader of the team, known as The Burning Ninja, he holds the Red Shinobi Ranger powers. Face Claim: Kostas Martakis
Blue Shinobi Ranger- The Storming Ninja- Simon Weaver Age: 19 Personality/Bio: Simon was born in the United Kingdom. He received his Blue Shuriken and Blue Shinobi Scroll from his uncle when he was young. As The Storming Ninja, Simon can control water, using it to drown his enemies or freeze it to create shields to shield himself and his friends. When the alarm about the theft of the Key Shards went out he was the second to arrive to save Alexis. He is the second-in-command of the team and the team strategist. He prefers to have his nose stuck in a book, rather than a battle, but when lives are on the line, he takes his Ranger duties seriously and fights alongside the rest of his team. Face Claim: Matthew Rhys Bond
Yellow Shinobi Ranger- The Quaking Ninja- Tito Cézar Almeida Costa Age: 21 Personality/Bio: Known as The Quaking Ninja, Tito was born in Brazil. For years he worked in his family’s quarry, so he’s no stranger to hard work. He is the physically strongest member of the team and the one they rely on to do the heavy lifting. He has a kind personality and does his best to fulfill his Ranger duties. He is often the peacekeeper of the group. After the theft of the Key Shards he received the Yellow Shuriken and Yellow Shinobi Scroll and became the Yellow Shinobi Ranger. He controls the element of earth and can use it to bury his enemies under layers of dirt or use dust to create a cloud to distract his enemies or make a quick getaway. Face Claim: Alex Meraz
White Shinobi Ranger- The Flowery Ninja- Monique Dupont Age: 18 Personality/Bio: One of the youngest of the team, Monique is a student at the local university in agricultural sciences in Paris, growing up there her entire life. Her father was an American and her mother a French botanist, fluent in English and French. She grew up with a natural affinity for flowers, and all plants in general and is skilled in botany. As The Flowery Ninja the element of wood grows within her and she can use it to slice her enemies like wheat or defend herself and others like the mighty oak. Monique was given the White Shinobi scroll along with a White Shuriken when she was old enough. After the theft of the Key Shards she was sent to find the others. Face Claim: Lily-Rose Depp
Pink Shinobi Ranger- The Metallic Ninja- Anna Zamolodchikova Age: 18 Personality/Bio: The same age as Monique, the two women got along from the start. A prodigy with machines as a result of growing up in a Russian junk yard. Anna has grown up with her hands in the gears as she tinkers away at the machines her family has built. As The Metallic Ninja the element of metal shines within her and can create sharp blades or solid barriers. When she was old enough she was given a Pink Shinobi scroll along with a Pink Shruiken. Following the theft of the Key Shards she left to find the other Shinobi Rangers Face Claim: Harley Quinn Smith
Gold Shinobi Ranger- The Starry Ninja- Danielle “Dan” Anders Age: 23 Personality/Bio: Boisterous and loud while morphed, Danielle is a pretty shy and meek person in real life. The descendants of the blacksmith who created the key shuriken moved to the western United States and created their own tools and weapons to aid in the battle should the need arise. Danielle is the latest in this line. At first she resented the fact that she was a ranger, not willing to accept the responsibilities she wanted more to focus on her music In the end however her heart is in the right place, and she’s trying to make things right. When the Shinobi Rangers began to battle the Nonja her family began work on the Gold Ranger gear so she could join the battle. As The Starry Ninja the element of the void roars within her allowing her to strike enemies with bolts or blow them away with strong winds. In her down time she composes songs based on the noise and sounds of the battles. Face Claim: Jasmin Savoy Brown The different families each created their own Shinobi Zords over the years, however they each had a different idea for a theme. R- Shinobi Warrior Zord- A red humanoid who can use ninja skills in battle B- Shinobi Drago Zord- A blue dragon who can breathe flames Y- Shinobi Truck Zord- A yellow truck that can spread ninja traps W- Shinobi Hound Zord- A white dog that can spread chaos in battle P- Shinobi Train Zord- A pink train that speeds around in combat
These five unite to form the Shinobi Megazord
R- Sits in the torso and forms the head B/Y- Arms W/P- Legs
G- Shinobi Western Zord with Buffalo Buggy- A cyan humanoid that rides upon a buffalo styled buggy. These two can combine to form the Rodeo Megazord.
Both Megazords can become one and form the Shinobi Rodeo Megazord
By using their Ninpo to purify the demonic shurikens the team gains a set of auxiliary Shinobi Zords Shinobi Elephant Zord- An emerald elephant that can use its trunk to attack and combine with the Shinobi Megazord to form the Shinobi Elephant Megazord granting the megazord twin axes. The Elephant Shuriken also allows the Rangers to stretch their limbs to amazing lengths Shinobi Alien Zord- A navy UFO that attacks by manipulating gravity and can combine to form the Shinobi Alien Megazord. This megazord is armed with a powerful blaster. The Alien Shuriken can also be used by the Rangers to manipulate gravity as well Shinobi Submarine Zord- A purple submarine that can control waves and shoot missiles and can combine to form the Shinobi Surfer Megazord. This megazord rides a giant surfboard and can move at great speed. The Submarine Shuriken can be used by the Rangers to summon localized waves. In the aftermath of a difficult battle the Rangers are forced to flee and they stumble onto a fortress with a lion motif and take shelter within. While inside they discover the fortress is really the Shinobi Lion Fortress Zord and activate it. This zord can become the Shinobi Lion Megazord as well as combine with the other Megazords to form the Shinobi Superzord.
Within the Lion Fortress the Rangers find the True Ninpo Armor. This armor boosts a Ranger’s power tenfold. The True Ninpo Armor acts as a team Battilizer.
However as the Nonja army grew stronger the Rangers were forced to return to their homelands to find statues of ancient Shinobi Guardians. These statues bestowed new Zords onto the Rangers. The Shinobi Guardian Zords.
R- Shinobi Guardian Phoenix Zord- Statue found within a volcano B- Shinobi Guardian Drake Zord- Statue found within a cave on a cliff side Y- Shinobi Guardian Turtle Zord- Statue found within a cave on a beach W- Shinobi Guardian Tiger Zord- Statue found within the forest P- Shinobi Guardian Panda Zord- Statue found in a blizzard in the wastelands G- Shinobi Guardian Fish Zord- Statue found in a canyon
Shinobi Guardian Megazord: R- Head B/G- Arms Y- Chest W/P- Legs
The Shinobi Guardian Megazord can unite with the Shinobi Lion Megazord to form the Shinobi Ultrazord.
Ninpo- In the Power Rangers universe there are three types of ninja. Ninjor is a master of all three. 1. Ninjetti which uses the power of the users inner ninja beast (MMPR3/Aquitar) 2. Ninjitsu which uses the element the user is in harmony with (Ninja Storm) 3. Ninpo which uses the users own life force to perform incredible feats. However most people cannot use Ninpo too much without becoming weaker from the strain, the Shinobi Rangers use special Shurikens to balance this.
Power Rangers Rail Strike: One day one of the demonic shurikens hits the wreckage of a Shadowtrack train and turns it into a monster bent on reviving the fallen Darkness Emperor. It takes two teams of rangers to stop him. Ninja vs Ninja For years it was believed Ninjor was the only one of his kind. This is not true. There was once another, a red being known as Shinor. Where Ninjor was compassionate Shinor was cruel. Where Ninjor defended life Shinor destroyed it. Where Ninjor’s students were heroes Shinor’s students were the silent killers of legend. Eventually Ninjor had no choice but to seal Shinor within Shinor’s own temple and hide it from humanity. It was in this prison Shinor remained, until a man fleeing justice broke into the temple. This wicked man was tempted by Shinor’s promises of power and released him. Within moments Shinor betrayed the man and began his plan for revenge. He gathered enemies of the Ninja Rangers (Aquitar, Ninja Storm, and Shinobi Strike) leading to the three teams joining forces along with Ninjor to defeat the threat.

‘𝗦𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗠 𝟱’ 𝗜𝗦 𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗜𝗡 🇦🇺 𝗢𝗡 𝟰𝗞 𝗨𝗛𝗗, 𝗕𝗟𝗨-𝗥𝗔𝗬, 𝗗𝗩𝗗 & 𝗗𝗜𝗚𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗟 🎬 𝗦𝗬𝗡𝗢𝗣𝗦𝗜𝗦 & 😎 𝗡𝗢𝗡-𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗜𝗟𝗘𝗥 𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪: 🎬: On the 25th anniversary of the original killings in the fictional California town of Woodsboro, another killer emerges wearing the well-recognised Ghostface garb & targets a new generation of teenagers. But this, time things are different: the victims are related in some way to the town’s deadly secrets dating back 25 years. Can & will the killer be stopped? 😎: The original 1996 ‘Scream’ movie & headliner of the franchise, had a strong winning formula by combining an emerging cast with an unusual story based around other horror movies. The plot twist of there being 2 killers, working in conjunction, made it difficult to pinpoint either one in a way that only Wes Craven, the iconic horror director, could execute. Craven & writer Kevin Williamson collaborated on 3 further sequels, but the audience/fan reception to those films was progressively less-favourable since the formula really didn’t change. ‘Scream 5’ is somewhat different. The directing duo of Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett have breathed new life into the franchise by utilising elements of the original movie, particularly the history & dynamics of the original cast, with a new group of characters. Melissa Barrera, a standout in the ‘In The Heights’ musical, & Jenny Ortega, who had a breakout role in ‘The Fallout,’ play sisters Sam & Tara Carpenter [respectively] targeted by the killer for a specific reason. Jasmin Savoy Brown, who was outstanding in ‘Yellowjackets,’ really complements the teenage friend group as a twin with attitude. Her explanation of what a ‘requel’ is [ie reboot sequel] is hilarious. 👻🔪 With some hidden pop-culture references, the no-holds-barred teenage cast's analysis of why fans are over the repetitiveness of the franchise, the brutal violence that leaves little to the imagination & the original cast poking fun at themselves, horror fans will enjoy this 5th instalment. 🔪👻 Thanks to @paramountpicturesathomeau; ‘Scream 5,’ rated 𝗠𝗔𝟭𝟱+, is available in 🇦🇺 now. ©️ #scream #ad (at SCREAM) https://www.instagram.com/p/CcEs8zAvoyp/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

OK i can now let the cat out of the bag and a huge congratulations to my friend Josh Segarra who just landed a role in the new Scream 6 now shooting. Scream 6 Adds New Cast Members for Ghostface to Stalk The upcoming Scream 6 has added even more potential victims new members to its growing cast with Deadline bringing word that Jack Champion (Avengers: Endgame, Avatar: The Way of Water), Liana Liberato (Light as a Feather), Devyn Nekoda (Sneakerella), and Josh Segarra (Arrow's Adrian Chase) have all signed on. No further details on their characters or the secretive plot of the sequel were revealed. We can assume that many of them will meet Ghostface and perhaps not make it out alive, one of them might even be the one behind the mask. Production on the film is set to start very soon. The only details previously revealed about the plot of Scream 6 was that the film "continues with the four survivors of the Ghostface killings as they leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter." Reports that popped up online afterward revealed the the film appears to be taking place in New York, and also might be set in the winter time. This would mark a pretty big departure for the series in terms of setting as Ghostface in the snow is something that hasn't shown up in the series (and he'll beat fellow slasher Jason Voorhees to the cold environment, something horror fans have been eager to see for decades). Other confirmed cast members for Scream 6 include Jenna Ortega, Melissa Barrera, Mason Gooding, and Jasmin Savoy Brown, who will reprise their roles from 2022's Scream (the fifth film in the series). Actor Dermot Mulroney is also set to appear with actress Hayden Panettiere, reprising her Scream 4 role of Kirby Reed as well. Absent from the film will be franchise star Neve Campbell who confirmed she will not return as Sydney Prescott for the new sequel. Checkout the SCREAM 6 IMDb page for more daily details https://m.imdb.com/title/tt17663992/?ref_=m_nmfmd_act_1 cc: @mrjoshuita2 @devyn_nekoda https://www.instagram.com/p/Ce4qoq1J-yZ/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
