Going through the P3R graphics and it reminded me how much they leaned into the Mitsuru Dominatrix fanservice for the shiny new AOA, critical hit, and theurgy graphics (sitting on her enemies, the kick being animated like she's stepping on them). Which is strange because that's not how her character is like at all

This threw me for a loop when I first played the game not knowing what her character would be like. Since you get access to her as a party member before her proper character arc starts, these graphics are going to be your first impression of what her personality is like. So like... imagine my surprise when she turns out not to be a domineering sexy 'girlboss' mommy, and is instead just a very concerned and well-meaning teammate lacking control in her own life and putting too much pressure on herself to compensate?

Anyway I like what her character ended up being, I just wish the gameplay visuals matched it
