asdfg june this concept is absolutely hilarious to me, you just know that a blitzed-out-of-his-mind akira would be the most comical (and chaotic) sight

his usual quiet demeanor? gone, this boy isn't shutting the fuck up. or, if he is it's like having a cat- peace and quiet is not a good sign; silence rings from upstairs, not a mindless chatter to be heard and the rest of the pt freeze downstairs and share the same immediate panic: akira what the fuck are you up to now (especially since he should be RESTING but now he's trying to climb out the window and roofjump across yongen. seriously, someone needs to be on akira-watch constantly)

at some point akira starts chatting on about the velvet room, and igor's long-ass nose, twin child-wardens and the persona executions, and the team just think it's more of his high ramblings. you'd sure think, huh....

and he calls sojiro 'dad' the entire time. no, those aren't tears in sojiro's eyes, he's just very tired from staying up all night tending to akira. that's all.

futaba has it all on film, and akira's in for the lifelong fight of his life to keep that shit private. younger siblings will younger sibling.

A little more progress. Did some anatomy fixes/clean up/color correction for Futaba and Mona, just because they're only really going to have the one pose/outfit with a little limb movement, so it's easier to call their neutral portraits done. Also started some clean up on this background. BGs take forever for me to do, I swear. I'm too much of a perfectionist, all my lines have to satisfy.

I'm gonna skip updating on the 10th because I'm so close to getting commissions done. Gonna pour all my time into it now, next update with be May 24th. Hopefully by then they'll be done and I'll have something more significant to show off.
