I was listening to ‘How Can You Help Me, Stardust?’ from the ISAT soundtrack while thinking about her, and holy fuck I might’ve cooked.

Here it is.

AU where FeMC fails to seal away Nyx and essentially becomes exactly like Loop, where after MC seals away Nyx he finds her hiding in an alley and she attacks him with her glaive for basically the exact reason Loop does in ISAT.

shinjiro was an intimidating guy, so he wasn't surprised that he was the one you asked for help when some creeps began bothering you at school

sure, he wasn't too thrilled about playing your boyfriend at first, but shinjiro cared about you and didn't want you to get harrassed by those guys, so he agreed to play the role of your overprotective boyfriend

the two of you tried to only act like a couple when you were out together, like when shinjiro picked you up after school or took you out on an occasional date

but soon, your friends at SEES began to get wind of your relationship and the two of you decided to keep it a secret from them as well – at least until you'd ‘break up’ with each other

it was a bit odd to see how happy they were that you two were together and that shinjiro had finally found someone to open up to, but overall it was sweet how happy they were for the two of you, even if it was all just an act

akihiko was especially happy that shinjiro had found someone and he was determined to get to know shinjiro's partner better!

soon, the three of you began to spend more time together and you got to see a new side of shinjiro, that slowly made you fall in love with the boy

and things weren't much different for shinjiro! he too began to catch feelings for you. just that he wasn't the only one who fell in love with you…

with akihiko constantly around you two, the boy slowly began to develop feelings for you. and despite never saying a word about it, it was obvious to shinjiro, that his friend had feelings for his partner

if it weren't for akihiko's feelings for you, perhaps shinjiro would've told you about his own feelings for you. but knowing that his best friend loved you, he just couldn't do it

shinjiro already felt guilty for loving you, knowing a person like him, who had made so many mistakes in the past, didn't deserve to be happy

but knowing that he'd hurt his best friend if he began to date you – or rather, knowing he was already hurting his best friend's feelings, who thought you two were dating – it was simply too much for him…
