Paris holds the key to her past Yes Princess I found you at last No more pretend, you’ll be gone that’s the end
Was feeling a bit nostalgic so I drew Anastasia 1997. They have a broadway musical in New York and I would literally sell my kidney to go. My fav outfit of hers was the one she wore to the Paris Ballet maybe because I had doll version of it hahahaha.  ————————————- Instagram Account @thehorsecharles Please do not re-post my artwork.

Paris wrap up
Okay, Paris was amazing! Some of us already knew that while others got to experience Paris a different way or for the very first time! Our week in Paris was very rich with history, architecture, wine and, of course, food! Breakfast most mornings was croissants, pain au chocolat, and baguettes with apricot spread, coffee and fresh orange juice! The weather this week was unseasonably warm (or perfect spring to us Atlantans) which allowed us ample opportunity to walk around Paris slipping into cafes for coffee, pastries and wine. We basically ate our way through Paris including some of the best ice cream ever! We packed a lot of activity in this week including a visit to Norte Dame, Eiffel Tower, Hotel de Ville, The Louvre, Jardin du Luxembourg and the Catacombs of Paris just to name a few. The most touristy thing we did was take a FatTire Bike Tour but it was pretty darn cool biking through the streets of Paris learning interesting facts about this wonderful city. The tour included a one hour river tour where we may have been served too much wine by our tour guide but c'est la vie. We also had the opportunity to see the Paris Ballet at the indescribably beautiful Palais Garnier. We saw L'Histoire de Manon staring Aurélie Dupount. Watching the Paris Ballet was truly a once in a lifetime experience. The entire ballet company was phenomenal in their craft. Everything from the smallest set or costume detail was impeccable. What we did not know at the time we booked our tickets is that Madame Dupount announced her retirement from the Paris Ballet after 32 years with the last 17 as Principal ending with her portrayal of Manon. We had the pleasure of watching her next to last performance which ended with a stunning 10 minute personal standing ovation to Madame Dupount. Paris summed into one word would be WOW. We can't wait to return in the near future to continue exploring this city. Next stop Koh Samui, Thailand after 14 hours of flying Merci beaucoup Paris! Au revoir! -B,L,P
