Two Households, both alike in dignity, In fair Naboo where we lay our scene, From ancient grudge break to new mutiny, Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean.

From forth the fatal loins of these two foes, A pair of star-crossed lovers take their life, Who’s misadventur’d piteous overthrows, Doth with their death, bury their parent’s strife.

The fearful passage of their death-mark’d love, And the continuance of their parents rage, Which, but their children’s end, naught could remove. Is now the 26 chapters’ traffic of your device;

The which, if you with patient eyes attend, What here shall miss, our toil shall strive to mend.

I rewrote Romeo & Juliet in a language that’s easily comprehensible in today’s day and age. Rey and Ben portray our star crossed lovers in this recreation because I can’t contain my own love for both of these tragedies any longer. There will be historical context, character analysis’ and anything else I’ve learnt about the play since anotating it.
