She has worked in Japan and China as a math teacher and also on Wall Street. She moved to Illinois to attend Northwestern University for her MBA. While she was living in Illinois, she decided to try her hand at politics, working for then-Sen. Barack Obama. In the assembly, she served on the Banks; Economic Development, Job Creation, Commerce & Industry; Governmental Operations; Health; Higher Education; and Housing Committees. Bichotte has introduced over 100 pieces of Legislation, nine of which became law, and she co-sponsored over 250 others. As chair of the MWBE Subcommittee, she co-authored a law that re-authorized Article 15-A, which expands both the MWBE Program for both the city and state. She is also a member of the Black, Puerto Rican, Hispanic & Asian Legislative Caucus and the Legislative Women’s Caucus, and sits on the Task Force on Women’s Issues. “ hey, little dingus, ” robin calls from the top of the basement stairs, slowly descending as she knocks on the wall. the two of them have formed an unlikely friendship after realizing they have something in common: annoying steve. that and video games, which is why she’s made an effort to bike over to his house. certainly not to visit nancy, which would far weirder than her friendship with mike. “ you better not be doing any funny business, man. i don’t have the energy to be traumatized today. ”

it’s hardly a moment that mike runs up to steve, in the dark of the unlit mall, afraid after everything had settled. he clings to steve, not wanting to say anything, like a scared child. // u said hug steve so :/

              He looks down over the railing of the second floor, slack-jawed at everything that just happened. But it was dead.  ( Right? )  That thing had to be dead. It wouldn’t just…give up like that. He looks across the mall at Nancy and Jonathan before down again, trying to spot the kids – there they are. Steve reaches without looking, his hand finding Robin’s arm and he taps her murmuring,  “ Come on, ”  before carrying himself towards the stairs and rushing down. He grips the railing tightly when his tired legs nearly make him slip down the last five.

              He comes to a halt as he reaches the scene. Oh god… He doesn’t know what to think, what to do… Billy’s dead. Right in front of his eyes. A chill runs down his spine, but there’s no dread.  ( He hates the relief that flows through him. )  He sees Eleven holding Max – shit. These kids shouldn’t be seeing this. He’s going to reach out, try and get them to start getting out of here, away from all this. Before he can though, something hits him, literally. He feels a body slam against his chest and arms wrap around his back. It’s Mike.  ( Just a little kid. )  

              Steve’s arms are out, avoiding the return of the hug for a moment in his surprise. He can feel Mike shaking a little bit. He blinks and glances at Robin, who begins to move towards the girls. Finally, one of Steve’s hands comes down onto the top of Mike’s head in a single, soft pat. The other is placed at the top of his back and Steve says,  “ It’s– It’s okay, ”  in the most comforting voice he can muster  ( which isn’t great but the effort is there )  . Still, he doesn’t let go just yet. He can feel Mike’s arms tighten around him and Steve clears his throat and takes a breath.  “ It’s over. ”

The rooms lights would seem to dim, its a slow over taken of darkness that would wash over the corners of the room first. Where IT would watch and moves within, allowing the scenes to be set before it revealed itself. The the sound of high giggle would soon slice through the silence that come to settle in, though when did that happen? IT shifts once more before its large head pokes out from the darkness, 

          “Mike... that’s your name isn't it?”
