1970s version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers having the male psychologist be deeply patronizing and dismissive of the women trying raise the alarm and accuse them of simply being commitment-phobic toward their husbands/marriages, then revealing he’s an evil pod person... based.

#also based that we don't see him get transformed so it's never confirmed if he was his true self at first and then got Podded™#but nobody who knew him could tell the difference so the implication is that he was just Like That anyway lmao #pathologizing justified female distress = villain #a good trope that i can't get enough of #actively fascinated by the nimoy character and his role in the story actually. may write more about it later to work out my thoughts 🤔#⭐
