my bday is the 4th and I went to pride for the first time properly w a new friend who ALSO has a bday on the 4th, and besides like getting to hang w her + a new friend/her coworker, it was so incredibly happy. like fr it was Busy and too hot and kinda pricy (don’t get me wrong: artists deserve their time + money, full stop, plus tips)

And it was NICE. Just as active as any other fair! Ppl w kids ppl w mobility aids (I use a cane for backup) ppl half dressed and ppl maybe high and ppl trying to run a stand in the middle of weird weather, and everyone everyone everyone was so spectacularly kind. I think the only thing that was jarring was how easy it was to simply BE for a couple hours. Happy pride, y’all, this was wonderful

was openly excited about meeting up with a dear friend I haven’t seen in almost a decade and don’t have any solid ‘we can do this and not rely on SPEAKING’ plans and want to put myself in the river. The friends I’ve made here are so good at being themselves and being easy and I want him to meet them, see this nice little niche I’ve carved out where I’m not like constantly on edge bc Prev Partner but. Ya know!!!

It’ll be fine! but. but. but what if (the answer is: ‘nothing really?’ but!)

I'm so sorry you've drawn the attention of someone who is probably an angry 15 year old. People need to learn how to act before they get on the internet unsupervised and feel like they can talk to other human beings that they don't know like this! Seriously! Imagine going up to a stranger on the street and saying these things! Anyway, I've blocked them and you might want to as well
