HELLSMOUTH TASK 01

Who is [your character]?

first and foremost, leo is a healer. there wasn't any other option for him, his path was to provide comfort and healing for others. once his duty was done in the war, and the elders gave him his wings, leo never questioned what he had to do until he met piper. after all the obstacles that kept them apart were overcome, leo had to put his family first. aside from his years of sacrifice for the greater good, this was the ultimate challenge for leo being a good father and husband. no matter how hard he tries, there's still things he can't get right.

What is their goal? Whether it’s saving the world or graduating college, short term or long term, what is your character looking for?

to leave the world in a better place than before he came along. whether he's mortal or a whitelighter, it's a lesson leo must learn time and again, and it's never easy. if he has the ability, he must try to do the right thing.

When was this goal chosen? What triggered this goal? Was it an external event or internal?

he was raised with a good heart by his parents, and these lessons multiplied when he took on charges as a whitelighter. despite all the losses of the innocent, leo always takes on the blame and vows to push harder next time.

Where do they go from here? This could be either your muses future plans, or it could be answered ooc with what you would like to do with your muse and their plots.

leo will always be there for those who need his help. his family is strong, but he worries for the future of his sons. with the love and support of piper, he knows the story isn't over. they'll find a way to save them all.

Why did you choose the quote for your character? An explanation on why the words chosen for your application pertain to your muse. Whether it was a quote that hit you, or it defines them as characters.

it's a bob ross quote, and i could say "enough said" but let me explain. one, it's bob ross, the most positive mortal man on the planet, so of course, that's perfect leo energy. second, the quote itself sums up leo's entire being. he's always the voice of reason in most situations when it comes to the charmed ones or his charges. it's easy to get distracted by the problem at hand, and leo has to remind them that there's something larger and less noticeable at stake. if you're too focused on the question, the answer can get further out of reach.

As far as dinner you can’t go wrong with pasta. If you like shrimp one of my favorite pasta dishes is Penne a la Betsy. If you don’t like shrimp you could use chicken or no meat. I also love a good penne alla vodka (which is similar to the Betsy dish)

Super Short Reviews: Fall tv 2018 part three

Happy Together (CBS) – not to be confused with Happy Endings, the other Damon Wayons Jr. show. He is always funny. He’s one of the few that can do physical comedy. Its also wonderful seeing Stephanie Weir yay!!! I will be shocked if this gets a second half order so enjoy it while you can.

Good Cop (Netflix) – I have never liked Josh Groban as a singer but have always loved his ability to make fun of himself. Unfortunately, that doesn’t mean he can act. Which is too bad, because the New York location shots are great, I love the old school music, Tony Danza is right on the nose in this style, and Isiah Whitlock Jr. and Bill Kottkamp are both very funny. But I can’t watch a show if one of the leads can’t act.

The First (Hulu) – Did you ever think you’d see Sean Penn in a series? No, you didn’t. But here he is, and here it is, and its FANTASTIC. A plus plus plus. This is “tv” in 2018. Suck it, film snobs.

Elite (Netflix) – I’m not sure why my Netflix defaulted to showing this with dubbed over English. It took me several minutes to realise that there was not a problem with the sound, but that I needed to change the settings to the original language. (Spanish.) Anyway, its about 4 students who test high enough to attend a rich and snobby prep school and... I don’t care because i’m too old.

Heathers (Paramount) – or maybe I’m not too old, because I LOVED THIS. Did Heathers need to be remade? Apparently YES – because this is hilarious and on point and dark. Why be a skinny bitch when you can be a positive body image psycho snob cyber bully? So fun and disturbing. (I hope the Riverdale stylists and Stranger Things composers got royalties.)

The Rookie (ABC) – If Castle had become a real cop. Its funny when he runs. Everybody loves Nathan Fillion. (Everybody over 35.)

Light As a Feather (Hulu) – Female driven teenage fare that could be scary at some point? Or... just a reincarnation of the Final Destination franchise.

Haunting of Hill House (Netflix) – THIS IS DEFINTIELY SCARY. The third adaptation of the Shirley Jackson novel, Amblin Entertainment and Netflix knock it out of the park with a superb cast and production. If you’ve already watched it, go back and check out all the tiny details in the house and other backgrounds that the stellar designers employed to FREAK YOU OUT even more. Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes.

All American (CW) – based on a true story? 90210 meets Friday Night Lights. People who look 30 playing high school “kids.” Taye Diggs playing the adult.

The Connors (ABC) – I’ll miss the relationship between tv Dan and tv Roseanne... but tv Darlene slides effortlessly into the matriarch role as tv Jackie and tv Becky continue to be hilarious. (And damn that John Goodman sure can act.)

Charmed (CW) – I would have had a LOT more respect for this “reboot” if they had bothered to make ANY mention of the Halliwell sisters... to pretend like this is the first telling of the Charmed Ones is a huge mistake -- especially since the REAL Charmed runs in syndication five times a day. But whatever. Moving on. It’s female diverse empowerment, which is good, and it fits the the CW brand (viewers 13 to 30.) (BTW For how to remake a show correctly, see Heathers.)

The Romanoffs (Amazon) – The first episode was so good I haven’t watched anymore. Ha!!! But seriously, I’m promised that all the stand alone story episodes (mini-movies) will connect in the end so I’ll get back to it for sure. (Stellar cast including radiant French newcomer Inès Melab.)

Channel Zero: The Dream Door (SyFy) – They move into the dead parents house. A dog magically appears in the basement and they keep it. Then a door appears in the middle of a wall in the basement, and they want to OPEN IT. What?! If it was me I would move.

yes!! so k decided to do a 1 - 2 - 3 thing with one paige kid two piper kids and three phoebe kids.

halli is the first born — paiges daughter but technically conceived by the evil enchantress and the prince. she has dominion over the elements, which is an insanely wide range of power lol so that it she has one power but its a wicked power

prudence melinda (aka pim) is next — piper and leo’s daughter and a wyatt variant however easily classified as the Most Chill wyatt variant (rankings evil wyatt > penn > wyatt > pim) bc she’s not the twice blessed or had her little brother (in this case sister) come back and announce she’s evil. she gets the nickname pim from her initials p.m. / p.m.h. said outloud phonetically bc quite frankly i can’t just have a million prudences running around there are too many. idk exactly what her powers are but we’re def looking at the classing orbing + telekinesis + telekinetic orbing

after that is chrissy (full name christina penelope halliwell) — you can guess who her counterpart is lol she’s basically chris with less issues and also a girl. again the orbing + telekinesis + telekinetic orbing

now. phoebe kids! to be perfectly honest they haven’t been named yet. all i can tell you is that there are three of them and their father is jason dean! my logic being with both baby halli and baby pim around i think it just would have been a lot more difficult to hide the Big Secret from jason, so maybe it comes to light faster and he’s able to process it in a much better manner than it ruining his job possessing his girl and getting him kidnapped. i think there’s also a decent age delta between jhoebe three and the first three just because phoebe and jason are a lot more career oriented at that point in their lives and i don’t think either of them is ready to commit to the parenthood thing til at least five years in you know? still doing p names. maybe paloma paxton and phaedra. ❤️.

Porter Russell

Witch

Runs “Russells” with his brother. He’s a doctorated architect and a CEO of a realtor company in the west coast.

Descendant of P. Russell, Phoebe Halliwell’s past life. His ancestor as abandoned by her when she was days old, taking her pregnancy in secret from all the family and the world around her, afraid of her warlock boyfriend’s possible actions against the baby. Laater on, she would be killed by her own cousins and the whole lineage of souls cursed until Phoebe Halliwell broke the curse. Her great grandmother would then be raised by mortals and unaware of her magic, learning by herself until her familiar brought her to the first whitelighter that that line of the family saw.

Porter is the older half brother of Penn, his mother, P Russell descendant, was in an open relationship with Porter’s father before his demise, leaving Penn’s father to raise him. Never a problem as he had enough time to grow with his father and the experience of both felt... good. His interest in construction and buildings came at a very young age when first studying the Halliwell Manor as part of San Francisco oldest buildings and the nexus that it has, it was then when he found the connection to the family.

Porter has telekinesis ( deviation, advances telekinesis, shockwave generation, levitation, flight, force field generation, though projection, removal and mind displacement, astral projection), pyrokinesis ( fire throwing, fire generation, heat generation, heat throwing, divination), blinking and power mimicry. Through mimicry he’s copied and gained immunity to premonition, phasing, possession and glamouring. He’s immune to telepathic powers due to his mimicry, but he cannot mimic these as he doesn’t feel it on himself first. Once a power it’s experience, it can be mimiced or released but while inside, he is immune to it.

Despite the abandonment, his great great grandmother ended up in a good family and benefited her in a good way. Like Penny Halliwell, lived off of investments as she had her mother’s premonition power.

Penn Russell

Witch-demon

Runs “Russells” with his brother. He’s an interior designer and realtor.

Penn’s father was the one that raised them both for the rest of their parents lives (who are still very much alive). Unlike Porter’s father, who is a mortal, Penn’s was the depowered descendant of the egyptian demon Jeric, and while they were aware that it could bring consequences to their child, they never feared him to become bad. Told of the true nature of his ancestry, both Russell’s and Jeric, Penn thupght himself lucky that he had never given proofs of such behavior. But it was Jeric’s creativity in magic and spells what probably most permeated into his persona: and as a creative person, even from a young age, he built and built. He lives in the west coast with his brother close enough and works from his home office in the very building they built for a big businessman, with the best sights of the beach.

Telekinesis ( deviation, advanced telekinesis, levitation, telekinetic dusting ), premonition, molecular manipulation ( immobilization, acceleration, dispersion, inhibition, gelidfication, solidification, combustion, subatomic combustion (Like Jubilee)), aerokinesis ( gust generation ), atmokinesis, sand manipulation (mummification, dusting, dust manipulation, dust and sand construct creation) and power replication are his powers. Through power replication he replicated Resurrection (and destroyed the avatar that owned it), size manipulation, energy sparks, and mental shielding.

I'm throwing a Charmed party to celebrate the 25th anniversary, but I need food and drink ideas linked to the show. All I can think of is Paige's ceiling gazpacho 😅 Do you have any suggestions?

okay so i’m dividing this into lazy baby / lazy bougie baby / semi advanced / advanced levels of just different silly ideas and then also drinks!

lazy baby!

scrying crystals (crystal rock candy)

kit's kats (kit kats, after kit the cat)

lucky charmed (lucky charms o.o)

cole’s birthday cake/cupcakes (chocolate with red icing that says happy 100th birthday cole!)

prue’s turkey no mayo sammies from bucklands (get yourself a deli sandwich, cut it up into easy party sized bites)

we all scream for ice cream (i would recommend mochi balls as they r also very easy to eat)
